Theme: Sounds of joy

Text: Psalms 118:15

Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The Lord ’s right hand has done mighty things!
Psalms 118:15 NIV

Hallelujah, Salvation and glory, Honour and power be to the lord Most High. for the Lord our God is mighty, for the lord our God is omnipotent, for the lord our God is wonderful.

Glory be to God for the grace to gather again and even see the end of September 2019. It's grace that has kept us this far and kept us standing, Hallelujah. Father we thank you words are not enough to show our appreciation of your wonders and grace in and through us. As we go into the word spirit of the living God enlighten us more and more, speak to us beyond our thinking and give us new revelation in Jesus name. Amen!

The Theme is a joyful one, it's sounds of joy. Each day we all wake up sounds, either a dead silence or sounds of traffic, or sounds of nature, or sounds of your screaming and loud neighbours whichever applies we have an encounter with sound.

The frequency at which we hear the sound can defer, someone who has a very good hearing can hear from the lowest decibel of sound while others can't. Either ways every sound mean something to the one who hear it, the sound of crying will automatically tell whoever hears it that things aren't right with whoever is making the sound or wherever the sound is coming from.

When you hear sounds of joy, these are sounds that wipe angry tears away or release joyful tears. Sounds of joy are unleashed where God is present or His hand has caused a transformation.

The story I will use today is one we are most likely familiar with and it's the story of the children of Israel. After lots of encounter with Pharaoh and his wise men it was not until the entire household of Egypt suffered loss that Pharaoh decided to let the people of Israel go. In Exodus 12-13, we read how this unfolds the obedience of the children of Israel saved them from loss of child. They heard the cry of their task masters later the next morning as a result of a damning loss. On getting to Exodus 14 the children of Israel were embarking on a journey to freedom, they will not and are not expected to look back at the past years they have been in slavery in Egypt. This was a new thing to them, a new sound it's surreal. It's a day many of them never thought would happen.

And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?  And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:  And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.  And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.  But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pi–hahiroth, before Baal–zephon.  And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord .  And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?  Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.  And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.  And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the Lord , and believed the Lord , and his servant Moses.

As they left the lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh and he gathered his chariot to pursue the children of Israel, remember the children of Israel were taking the long route to Canaan yet Pharaoh found them and he will not relent, he pursued them into the sea, the children of Israel looked back and that period of New sound they had, the period of happiness, the children who have been free from carrying woods and the khyphotic spine as a results of endless years of slavery carrying heavy loads. They started saying to Moses are we going to perish here, I thought God said we should go into land flowing with milk and honey, some might have even called Moses a false prophet and some probably will think Moses was working with their task masters considering the fact that Moses was once a Prince of Egypt.

These whole scenario changed when the last person crossed over the red sea and Moses did has God commanded him and the sea came over their task masters and they Egyptians they saw were no where to be found. Halleujah...

Guess what this birth the New song came in the next chapter....
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord , and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord , for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.  The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.  The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.

Who would have thought that at the split second the sounds of fear would change to sound of joy, who would have thoughts that a new song of praise of joy will follow suit the sounds of Panic when the Egyptians were sighted by the Israelites crossing the red sea. One extraordinary thing that God did then and He still does is when you feel like all is going down the drain, He already prepared a basin and fresh start to take you through.

I don't know maybe  you feel like well the new sound wasn't what you expected and the sounds of joy is not forthcoming. I want you to look at Jesus and never take your gaze off Him.

Keep your faith strong in Him because the past isn't nothing He will hold against you. He is releasing sounds of joy for you. You are not going down the road of crying and gnashing of teeth. This time just as the Israelites bursted into new songs you are bursting into new songs. It doesn't matter what has not worked in the past henceforth all things are working for your good.

Perhaps you are unsure how to enjoy sounds of Joy because you don't even have a relationship with Jesus. The Bible says heaven rejoice at every soul that is won into the kingdom of God. Not only will you have sounds of joy in giving your life to Christ but the heavens are rejoicing just because of you.

I want you to say lord Jesus I come to you just as I am, I confess my sin and I invite you to be the lord and saviour in my life. Today I give my life to you and let me beging to experience sounds of joy in Jesus name.

Sounds of joy can come from any channel of your life. So to the barren or those waiting for the fruit of the womb sound of a child of their own is sounds of joy as you desire the lord will grant unto you. To those seeking divine health how glorious is it when what doctor said was your end and no solution receives divine touch I join my faith with yours and decree henceforth for sounds of joy over them, you will burst out of with songs of joy in your life over all health challenge receive divine touch and divine health in Jesus name.

For as many seeking one thing or the other, yes it's been like it will never happen but the word of God is telling you new doors are opening and sounds of rejoicing are coming out of you as your heart desires begin to manifest to the glory of God Hallelujah.

Let us Pray

I want you to begin to thank God in advance

Thank Him for all that He has settled for you

Thank Him for allowing mercy to speak in places the enemy had laid allegations against you

Decree this is my season of sounds of joy and absolutely nothing will hinder it

Commit that thing into the hands of God right now and decree no more weeping over it in Jesus name

Decree that the battle and challenges that seem unrelenting henceforth you will see them no more in Jesus name

Pray for every member of this ministry and every household that is impacted that sounds of joy will come out of our lives and over all our expectations in Jesus name

Begin to pray for as many souls that God has called you to win that henceforth your obedience in winning souls will birth sounds of joy both in heaven and on earth in Jesus name
