Lord eternal I worship you and extol your majesty for your amazing presence in my life

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Acts 9:1‭, ‬4‭-‬6 KJV

Glory be to God in the highest once again. The Lord has been gracious to us in preserving our lives up to this moment. We therefore bless the name of the Most High.
Our theme for this month's programme is Divine Encounter. We know that when something is divine, it involves God. There are many definitions of the word 'encounter' in the dictionary, but the one that seems closest to the context of this message is: 'An unplanned or unexpected meeting.' This means that we can explain divine encounter as an unplanned or unexpected meeting between a person and God. Divine encounter happens when divinity visits humanity.
Through the ages, whenever God visits man, there is usually an exchange. He may decide to give faith in exchange for your fear. He releases fruitfulness in exchange for barrenness. He replaces poverty with prosperity. He gives joy where there once was sorrow. A divine encounter is never empty handed.
In the Scriptures, there were some people that had an encounter with God. In 1 Samuel, Hannah was a barren woman until God visited her. The encounter produced Samuel who went on to become a mighty vessel in God's hand as a prophet and leader. Hannah's barrenness was exchanged for God's fruitfulness.
In 1 Kings 17:8-16, we read the story of a poor widow who had a divine encounter that forever changed her life and her story. She had given up hope on life due to her penury and had concluded that the end had come. Using Elijah the prophet, God visited her and exchanged her poverty with abundance.
Solomon, the son of David, had a divine encounter in his dream. He confessed his weaknesses to God. Hear what he said in 2 Chronicles 1:10 (KJV): _Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?_ It is safe to assume that Solomon was not always so wise and fearless before the encounter, being a very young man when he became king. But he had a divine visitation and God exchanged his fear and foolishness for faith, courage and uncommon wisdom, in addition to unparalleled wealth.
Another person who experienced a divine encounter was the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:24-34). She was determined to touch the hem of the garment of the Son of God because she knew that such an opportunity might not come her way again. During that particular divine encounter, her bondage and shame were exchanged for freedom from the ailment and glorious rejoicing.
In our anchor text, a man named Saul of Tarsus had an intriguing encounter with the Son of God. Before the encounter, he was an avowed enemy of God and the preachers of the Gospel. When God visited him, many things changed in his life. For the first time in his life, he heard God speak to him. His spiritual ears were opened. He also had a change of name - Saul of Tarsus became Paul the Apostle. A life of pleasing the priests and scribes and the rulers of those days was exchanged for a life that only wanted to obey and please the almighty God. The one that was responsible for putting many into jail and bondage and even death was transformed into a new man being used by God to set many free from the bondage of sin and sickness and to lead them to the path of eternal life. What a transformation! What a touch! What an encounter!
Anyone can have a divine encounter. Indeed, everyone should desire a divine encounter if they want to move from their present level to a higher and better level. However, there are some things that may trigger a divine encounter. Some of them are:
✅ The person should have a relationship with God. So if you are yet to know God, it would be wise to surrender to Him.
✅ The person should forsake the way of sin and the way of the world. The Bible says friendship with the world is enmity with God (James 4:4). You don't want to become God's enemy!
✅ The person should desire it. You should earnestly pray for God to visit you and exchange all your negatives for His positives.
✅ The person should be obedient to the instructions of God. The poor widow obeyed what Elijah told her before she got her miracle.
✅ The person should have faith. We cannot receive anything from God without faith. The woman with the issue of blood exemplified this.
✅ Finally, the mercy of God triggers a divine encounter. When God decides to show mercy to anyone, He will visit such a person. A good example is the case of Paul the Apostle.

Ancient of days, we thank you for your Word that you have released to us once again. We pray that you will visit us in your own way. Exchange our weaknesses for your strength and turn our lives around for the better.

Divine Encounter

Be Inspired End of Month Prayer & Fasting 29th -31st July 2019

Theme: Divine Encounter

Text: Acts 9:1,4-6

Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord [and relentless in his search for believers], went to the high priest, and he asked for letters [of authority] from him to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any men or women there belonging to the Way [believers, followers of Jesus the Messiah], men and women alike, he could arrest them and bring them bound [with chains] to Jerusalem. As he traveled he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him [displaying the glory and majesty of Christ]; and he fell to the ground and heard a voice [from heaven] saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting and oppressing Me?”  And Saul said, “Who are You, Lord?” And He answered,  “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,  now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

Glory and honour belongs to God who has kept us this far. If it had not been for God where would we be? Lord we worship and honour your majesty for keeping us even in our unfaithfulness you remain faithful to. You are God in all your ways, Lord we pray that this season of our prayer and fasting you speak to and through us. We ask for an encounter that will depict your blessings and promises for us in Jesus name thank you abba father in Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen

The theme days Divine Encounter, in other words it is something that is of God that and experience of God that is or was unexpected. It is the occurrence that happen when God touch humanity. Our text is taken from Acts 9;1,4-6. I have shared from Acts 9:1-6  to give clarity to the messages the Lord give us understanding.

Saul was on His way to Damascus he had mission to ruin all believers that he can see. He was bent on fulfilling his mission no matter what. Saul was not an illiterate when it come to some theological aspects but even at that he had a wrong understanding and belief that had clouded his vision. Hosea 4:6a my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. People say knowledge is power but I believe if the knowledge lacks divine truth it results in abusive power. This was the case of Saul.

As he was going he had his plan well scheduled, he had the right information to attack the people with full force, he had a human authority backing him on this.

As he travelled a light shine from heaven around him displaying the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ and Saul fell to the ground. Then the lord said to him Saul, Saul, Saul why are you persecuting and oppressing me. Recently I was doing some quiz with some friends and a question came up. Who fights for the poor, in as much as the word poor is generically used to describe people that lack I believe that you can be rich in wealth and still have some attributes of the poor. Your judgement can be poor while you are so rich. My response to that question was God and He can fight for them in any way or any capacity He seem fit.

In the case of the believers that Saul was heading to, we had the rich and the poor among them but God intervened divinely and fought their battle for them even before the battle got to their door step.

Naturally as human being we probably will be expecting in the case of Saul that God will strike him to death for the sake of His own. Alas the situation of Saul was beyond him in so many ways, unknown to Saul God had chosen him for such a time as that and his encounter on his way to Damascus was an experience that will not just turn Saul to Apostle Paul but through His ministry as Apostle Paul turn many unbeliever to God.

Divine encounter can be in any way and can happen to any individual, during the Encounter of Saul not only did he change to become Apostle Paul, God removed the scales that were covering his eyes, when people are spiritually blind there is nothing that you say that can change them until God intervened. You can be a believer and still be spiritually blind. 

Divine Encounter is the birthright of a believer, we are not subjected to live an ordinary life because we are birth into the life of extraordinary once we became children of God through salvation. The encounter of Saul was the beginning of his divine encounter not just to him alone but through him to other people. The sick received healing through the new changed man Apostle Paul.

Many times we seek divine encounter but to have it we need to drop our old self, there are things that shouldn't accompany us to the next level of our personal divine encounter. We must know that God is not selfish in moving situation around in our lives especially the ones that needs His divine touch.

Divine encounter can happen to anyone at any stage, some encounter can come out of much preparation while some can be suddenly. Imagine someone who had battled endlessly with incurable disease and suddenly receives the touch of God and all the buts brought about by the disease just vanish just like that, that is a miracle and divine encounter.

Imagine one who has searched endlessly for employment years after acquiring knowledge yet no gainful employment and after much cry and prayer to God an offer comes around from offshore where they never applied someone somewhere remembered them and suddenly they didn't just gain employment, they gained a new home and all as package of the employment this is divinity working out plans for humanity.

Divine encounter is not limited to race, culture or language. Remember God is the God of all human so He will never limit what He can do for one race based on who they are. He is unlimited.

To receive divine encounter your mind must be opened to God, in the case of Saul even though he fought against God at the point of his encounter his response showed that he was ready to hear from this great being.

No matter how difficult the situation may be right now it is not beyond God in anyway so I want you to crave a divine encounter in your life, over all those things that has made you blind to His plan I decree divine encounter. I decree those spiritual blindness come to an end now. Indeed it has been said that your family face such and you are so much in despair about it today may your season of divine encounter turn around that in Jesus name

Lord I thank you for this wonderful day and the word

Father thank you for the privilege to witness another end of the month

Lord thank you for grace to partake of the prayer and fasting for July 2019

He said, “There was once a judge in some city who never gave God a thought and cared nothing for people. A widow in that city kept after him: ‘My rights are being violated. Protect me!’ “He never gave her the time of day. But after this went on and on he said to himself, ‘I care nothing what God thinks, even less what people think. But because this widow won’t quit badgering me, I’d better do something and see that she gets justice—otherwise I’m going to end up beaten black-and-blue by her pounding.’” Then the Master said, “Do you hear what that judge, corrupt as he is, is saying? So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?”

What do we understand by Quiet time?

*@Harmony:* A time to commune with God in studying and knowing more of Him through His word.
*Bro Femi:* Hmmm, is the time you spend in God Presence. In the secret place.
*Bro Okolo John:* Quiet time is the time of one on one with God, after daring all distractions.
*@Gracious God:* A time alone with God.
*@Abimbola:* A heart to heart time with the Creator.
*Sis Stella:* A time to be alone with one's thought all by himself.
*@Champ:* A time with God.

*Sis Queeneth:* Thank you all for the responses.
Quiet time can also be when there's calmness. When there's no disturbing noise of any sort.
If we merge Quiet time with persistent faith it means a time alone with God and having faith continously every time.
So it means our heart to heart is not a one off thing and it also has faith in it
And faith is the evidence of things not seen and hope for what is to come.

From verse 1 of our study, Jesus taught His disciples to pray always.
Did he mean they should pray every minute of the day?
No, he wanted them to pray everyday and to pray about everything.
He wanted them to keep praying even when they're tempted to give up.
Maybe you have prayed for something for a long time and your prayer hasn't been answered.
Jesus is saying to you: keep praying.
Not just praying as a ritual or for the sake of praying but with faith.
Jesus is faithful and He's a good Father.
God knows what to give His children and when to give them.

Back to our study.
That judge had no regard for man or God and he cared for nothing but this widow, kept on going back time after time.
I wonder how many times the widow must have shouted 'protect me';  carrying placard of 'Protect me!'
How much more our loving Father who provides for the bird in the sky!
There's this verse that is a question that can a mother forget her suckling child?
It continues: Even if she did, I your Father can never forget you (paraphrased).
After this went on, the bible records it that the judge talked to his own personal self (if I may use that expression), talked to his brain.
Sometimes we need to tell ourselves the truth of what we can do and what God can do.
Most of the things we bother about has been settled because God will not allow you do what only He can do.

*@Abimbola:* Hmmnnn. I see myself in this, whatever I cannot do I leave it for God; why draining my energy? I can’t even do it in the first place.

*Sis Queeneth:* God has done it before and He can do it again and again.
All we need to do is to have a Quiet Time with Him and be persistent in faith.
We cannot help God.
Worrying will drain our energy.
Anxiety will take your joy away.

The judge continued: This widow won't quit badgering me.
How many times have we quit on God and do it our own way and got smacked and returned back to God?
I'd better do something!
God will do something that will change our situation to a favourable one in Jesus Name.
God will do something as you wait on Him that will give you a new name In Jesus Name.
God will do something suddenly that will amaze everyone that has given up on you in Jesus Name.

If a corrupt judge can be scared of a widow that has no husband and is helpless; what can a good God not do for you that have heart to heart talk with Him?
The judge said otherwise I'm going to end up *beaten black-and-blue* by her pounding.
As the chosen one of God your own black and blue is *Persistent Faith*.
But how are you willing to be persistent?

Sometimes we're having our quiet tine in a noisy place and God is giving you instructions but you can't hear.
Sometimes we rush out of our quiet time and we don't hear when He's talking.
Some of us even joke with our personal time with God that we can't differentiate God speaking and our mental calculation.
Some of us even do all but our faith can't stand the test of time.
Some of us have faith but we're not persistent.
Quiet time and persistent faith is what we do for ourselves. Nobody can do that for anyone.
It's a personal race and journey.
But in all, our merciful loving Father that has chosen us is still saying "I'm ready to do my part, are you?"
He said rejoice!
Rejoice, He has conquered the world!
Rejoice, you have overcome.
His chosen generation, rejoice!
Rejoice because He will do what He has promised to do.
Rejoice because you're His peculiar one.

I just want to encourage us to take our quiet time with Him seriously.
I know there's so much going on; but when we have our heart to heart talk with Him and see Him even in our turbulence period and we don't lose sight of Him, our face doesn't shift by our persistent faith, we'll surely overcome in Jesus Name.
May I add: sometimes in our quiet time with God we'll be checking the phone.  If you trust God completely listen to Him and leave distractions out.

*Bro Okolo John:* My question is, what made Jesus to ask that question - will the son of man find such faith when he comes back?

*Sis Queeneth:* Because Jesus knew we'll soon have all this fast things called microwave faith. We believe at tap of our fingers we get things done.  Remember in the Old Testament, the Bible says 'Remember the Lord your God, it is He who gives you power to get wealth', but now we have faith in ourselves and not in God. We believe 'I did it like this and it came out like that, I pray like that and this happened.' We're sharp sharp people now, no perseverance; no persistence. We leave God out of it all
*Sis Stella:* In the previous chapter Jesus was telling them about the end time/rapture and the need to hold on to the very end in watching and prayers.

*@Imade Gloria:* Please i have a question. Most times I do my quiet time  by 1130pm or 12am. Is it OK? Most mornings am always rushing out of the house. But I still feel bad and guilty when I do that .

*Bro Okolo John:* To me, if that's when you will be free from distractions, it is ok.
*Sis Florence:* I think it does not have a specific time but what matters is the presence of God in the meeting between both of you.

*Sis Queeneth:* It's okay. But in the Bible it is written we should redeem all days because the days are evil. I used to do that too and I'll say God understands but then I see some people in the office that just come and read devotion in office some read in the bus and I engaged the least spiritual and told me she sleep early and wake up earlier to have her quiet time. So I adjusted. Can you try to do it the other way because of guilt. Earlier wake up to have time with God and do extensive devotion and quiet time later. I suggest that because of the guilt you mentioned. Above all GRACE is the ultimate.

One day David asked, “Is there anyone left of Saul’s family? If so, I’d like to show him some kindness in honor of Jonathan.” It happened that a servant from Saul’s household named Ziba was there. They called him into David’s presence. The king asked him, “Are you Ziba?” “Yes sir,” he replied. The king asked, “Is there anyone left from the family of Saul to whom I can show some godly kindness?” Ziba told the king, “Yes, there is Jonathan’s son, lame in both feet.” “Where is he?” “He’s living at the home of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar.” King David didn’t lose a minute. He sent and got him from the home of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar. When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan (who was the son of Saul), came before David, he bowed deeply, abasing himself, honoring David. David spoke his name: “Mephibosheth.” “Yes sir?” “Don’t be frightened,” said David. “I’d like to do something special for you in memory of your father Jonathan. To begin with, I’m returning to you all the properties of your grandfather Saul. Furthermore, from now on you’ll take all your meals at my table.” Shuffling and stammering, not looking him in the eye, Mephibosheth said, “Who am I that you pay attention to a stray dog like me?” David then called in Ziba, Saul’s right-hand man, and told him, “Everything that belonged to Saul and his family, I’ve handed over to your master’s grandson. You and your sons and your servants will work his land and bring in the produce, provisions for your master’s grandson. Mephibosheth himself, your master’s grandson, from now on will take all his meals at my table.” Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants. “All that my master the king has ordered his servant,” answered Ziba, “your servant will surely do.” And Mephibosheth ate at David’s table, just like one of the royal family. Mephibosheth also had a small son named Mica. All who were part of Ziba’s household were now the servants of Mephibosheth. Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, taking all his meals at the king’s table. What do we understand by being *Selfless?*

*Sis Queeneth:* To go the extra mile to help others.

*Sis Leah:* *To be selfless means to think of others more, care about others' needs and view, to be self-sacrificing.*
In the above scripture Kind David did something really selfless and it changed the life of Mephibosheth.
Mephibosheth was the son of Jonathan. If you are familiar with the story of Jonathan and David you will see that Jonathan took David like his own brother. Regardless of how Saul was tactically against David Jonathan was not like that.

Forward to Mephibosheth, he was the crippled son of Jonathan. Then one day, David asked Ziba who used to be a servant of Saul: "Is there anyone at all left in the house of Saul?"
Ziba was like: Yes, king. Mephibosheth is there, the son of Jonathan and he lives with Makir in Lo debar.
King David requested that they fetch Mephibosheth to come to him
When Mephibosheth got there, imagine a crippled man going on all fours to worship and honour the king.
He didn't do it because he was already crippled but imagine the kind of mixed feelings this person will be having knowing well that his grandad Saul was selfish, and wanted to see the end of David. What will this king want from this crippled man?
I can imagine Mephibosheth's body language said it all. Imagine the feat and uncertainties🤕🙆🏾🥵 written all over him!
David seeing this said to Mephibosheth: Calm down, put your mind at rest, and he said "I will show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all that belonged to your grandfather. And from today you will eat at my table."
Mephibosheth was like: Me? *a dead dog like me?*
Mephibosheth didn't think of such selfless act from David.
In fact Mephibosheth had resorted into being that crippled grandson of the former king.
Knowing the history of Saul and David he least expected such kindness.
He compared himself to a dead dog.
At least a living dog still had hope.
But here Mephibosheth had lost hope because this comparison was to a dead lowlife being.
A dead dog....
I pray for someone today: that situation that has kept you in a low life state, the situation that has made you write yourself off any kindness or favour, the situation that has rubbished your hope will turn around for your good in Jesus name.

David now summoned Ziba to take charge and be servant to Mephibosheth by being his right hand man.
There is something significant here. Ziba himself was a big man.
But at the word of the king....
The Bible says there is power in the word of the king.
Ziba became chief of staff below Mephibosheth.
Crippled or not Mephibosheth became a ruler above ruler.
He got his inheritance back even when he was not thinking about it.
Ziba dare not disobey the king. He said to the king: *your servant will do whatever my lord the king commands his servant to do.*
From that day onward Mephibosheth dined with the king like the son of a king.
I remember the lyrics of a song that says *_Nobody on this earth can tell me who I am, I am a child of the king, I can do anything._*
Those lyrics wouldn't have applied to Mephibosheth before the selfless encounter he had with David.

Many children of the king are living like a dead dog.
Many children of the king are below the standards the king wants them.
Mephibosheth from that day stayed in Jerusalem and dined with the king.
I can imagine if it were this day we are in.
He will get a motorised wheelchair that can wheel him about.
Well adapted environment.
In fact Mephibosheth would have a driver with latest the car.
But let us remember somebody who made that possible. David. No wonder God called him a man after His heart.
David's selfless act restored the glory of a man who had resorted to fate and put himself in a place God didn't put him.

Are you a selfless believer?

Many of us have this sense naturally as humans to be a blessing in places we can get a return.
But sometimes God is saying to us: Intercede for that person. Stand on behalf of that person.
They are rubbishing the image of that person but God is saying: I want you to bring them into your care.
Don't get me wrong; God will never ask us to do something that is not within our capacity.
David's selfless act wouldn't have made sense if he was still the shepherd boy.

Today we need to search ourselves.
Not everyone we help will have it in their capacity to pay back.

*Sis Queeneth:* Yes, and it maybe someone you haven't helped before that will help you when you're in need.
*Mummy Julie:* Our help always comes from the unexpected and unimagined.

*Sis Leah:* Also many of us would have received a selfless act if only we do not take our unsatisfactory impression and decision of people God has chosen to help us as a tool to tear them down.
Imagine if Mephibosheth had rubbished David, would he have received what he got?

If you read further in 2 Samuel 10, David planned  to do another selfless act to Hanun son of Nahash.
But guess what! Hanun got bad advice that David meant evil.
And that led to their demise.
It is good to be discerning, not to take a selfless act as a bad one or the one that the person offering it has a bad motive.
Many of us are due for that selfless intervention.

I decree today where you and I least expect may we receive that intervention that will cause divine transformation.
That act that will make you burst into tears of joy and songs of thank will locate you today in Jesus name.
I decree you will not receive bad advice where your help is knocking at the door.
I decree that place where you are owed they will look for you and locate you with divine blessings in Jesus name.

Say: Father, deliver me from every form of selfishness in Jesus name. Lord eternal, transport my destiny to the level it ought to be henceforth in Jesus name.
Say: Jehovah, uproot the curse that will make one become tactical against the helper of destiny in my life in Jesus name.
Say: Father, use me to be a blessing to others around me without waiting for pay back or reward in Jesus name.
Say: Lord, give me enablement even where I have experienced any form of disability in Jesus name.

God is the God that is forever with us (omnipresent) we just need to understand and acknowledge the spiritual facts that no matter what we go through in life God is with us.

Yes! even at the time of death, He is with us because when we make heaven eventually we can see the golden floors the mansions that await us and we can reign continuously with Him.

I want to encourage someone here today no matter how the circumstances you are in right now feels, be rest assured God will never work out on you.

I want to use Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan who was crippled when he was being carried away during unrest and death of his father as an example. Mephibosheth was born into a royal family he was royalty. He had the royal blood flowing in his vein but guess what after the death of his father and grandfather.

Mephibosheth lived a life that was far cry from who he was. One day the lord brought him to the rememberance of King David and He asked that he be brought to the kings palace and from that day he dined with the king. He regained his royalty, do you think God forgot Mephibosheth at the times he spent as wretched cripple being looked after by his minder for years from childhood to adulthood.

No God didn't forget him at all.

I want to encourage you this day it may feel all crippled and all ripped off like the case of Mephibosheth *2 Samuel 9*. It may look really impossible and messed up, the clothes are all torn and the strength is gradually becoming weak.

Things and people might be working against you but it doesn't mean God is working against you, He has a plan for you and do not think you are the least favourite before God.

He loves you as much as He loves Jesus, that means He loves you as He loves Himself.

So today look at yourself reassure yourself and say "God I know it was you pulling me through because you are there all through".

The truth of the matter is that there’s not a stone in that building that is not going to end up in a pile of rubble.” Later as he was sitting on Mount Olives, his disciples approached and asked him, “Tell us, when are these things going to happen? What will be the sign of your coming, that the time’s up?” Jesus said, “Watch out for doomsday deceivers. Many leaders are going to show up with forged identities, claiming, ‘I am Christ, the Messiah.’ They will deceive a lot of people. When reports come in of wars and rumored wars, keep your head and don’t panic. This is routine history; this is no sign of the end. Nation will fight nation and ruler fight ruler, over and over. Famines and earthquakes will occur in various places. This is nothing compared to what is coming. “They are going to throw you to the wolves and kill you, everyone hating you because you carry my name. And then, going from bad to worse, it will be dog-eat-dog, everyone at each other’s throat, everyone hating each other. “In the confusion, lying preachers will come forward and deceive a lot of people. For many others, the overwhelming spread of evil will do them in—nothing left of their love but a mound of ashes. “Staying with it—that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. Topic is stay with it

The begining of the chapter our lord Jesus Christ spoke about the temple that will be destroyed..

To start with I want us to take this word as it is..
When the disciples and Jesus departed the temple the disciples were showing Him the temple I presume how magnificent it was. Jesus then replied that none of the stone of the temple Willbe upon. Each other that they will be thrown down. This eventually happened around 50 to 70AD according to theologians. And the rubbles of the temple are still where they were from then.till now and pilgrims to the holy land confirmed seeing it. Then on the Mount of Olives the disciples asked when this would happen and what the signs will be.

The answer given was not just about the temple again but what will follow in many years to come. The first thing Jesus did was to warn us all that we should take heed that no one decisive you..

Why did I say us all because the message is as relevant as at the time.it happened.

He said many will come saying *I am the Christ*
That statement can be viewed in two ways...

Some will come and claim they are Christ

Some will come and claim that Jesus is Christ

But these two categories have thesame goal and the goal is to deceive people. Do you know there are ma y churches or worship place where indeed they profess Christ but they are not led by Jesus

The spirit of God is not in charge of such places. They twist and turn the Bible into the human understanding and fantasies. These are some of the prophets of doom that will fill the *church age*

We may wonder what is the *church age*🤕🤕🙆🏾🙆🏾 this is the presnet age we are in. The age where by we are gathering under grace and the holy spirit but many are allowing the misunderstanding of grace to trump the leading of the holy spirit
Then he went on to say you will hear rumours of wars but don't be troubled, all these things must come to pass but guess what the end is not here yet. So even with the rumours of war and everyother thing they are all signs the end is not here yet. Nations will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, pestilences and earthquake in various places these are the beginning of sorrow
The message version says they will throw you to the wolves and kill you.. that is the life of a believer will.mean nothing to them.infact killing a believer will.look okay and acceptable.

Then it says going from bad to worse dog eat dog everyone to each others throat everyone hating each other. People will stand for their denomination, all this leading to unnecessary division. You know this is already happening within the Christian community
And to top it all in confusion lying preachers will come forward and deceive a lot of people. Not just few people will be deceieved a lot of people even people who go to church 24/7 will be deceived. The love in them will be nothing but ashes because everyone will be about themselves alone. What are we meant to stay with the truth of the gospel. Then the word says... Staying within, that is what God requires. Stay with it to the end. The truth which is our faith in Jesus Christ not doctrinaires faith or denominational faith but faith in Christ Jesus

You will not be sorry and you will be saved. All during this time the good news the message of the kingdom will be preached all over the world. There will be witnesses in all countries then the end will come

We are at the end of time or at the end times many know but the end will only come when every nook and crannies of this planet earth have heard about Jesus christ

You wonder how will this happen with all types of legislation standing up in different parts of the world and many persecution against the Christian.

How will this happen when the leaders of some denominations are deceivers. How will this happen

Remember the word of God will not return to Him void..

It will happen and you and I are parts of the instruments God will use

Many years ago infact when this scripture was pen down there was no internet neither was there any social media or any fast means of transfering messages from one part of the world to another but here we are it is at the tips of our fingers

With a click you can get attentions of millions in different parts of the world.

At thesame time there are people dedicated to take the message of God to unreached but do you know you and I can partake in that through our daily prayer and different means of contribution

Many will say Jesus should not come now I want to do this and that before He comes but as we can see once the gospel reach every part of the world the true gospel not the deceit filled word of men but the true gospel of Jesus so no one will say but I wasn't preached to or it never got to my village so everyone has a fair share of hearing the word

One thing about God is He will never impose anything on human being he made us in a way that we have the ability to make choice. So  when the gospel finally reach the unreached it is now up to them to accept it or make whatever choice that please them

This evening our topic says stay with it... You wonder what am I staying with..

You and I must be ready to stand our ground and be on the guard that our faith will not be tampered with in the midst of the end time charades

A lot is happening and when we look into the word of God we will find answers.

Either in the church or circular world men are in a haste to take the position of God. The deceiving preachers are drawing the glory and attention to themselves instead of the lord almighty

Believers are beginning to wax cold because trust have been abused, many who so reverence men in the high places of ministry are being let down people are beginning to question the existence of God in their heart because what they see that points them to God is gradually letting them down

When the end comes everyone will stand before God not on behalf of anyone and the funniest thing is there is no difference of gender your status quo or qualifications or titled would not guarantee where you stand but your state of salvation that is if you are saved

But this is where the topic comes in stay with Jesus it doesn't matter if the people you highly reverence are falling your focus mainly should not or never be on man but God almighty

I know these days we here lots of prophecies and decree and revelations but I want to encourage us to be a Christian that put their stand on the word in the word and with the word

Jesus didn't promise us that the end time will be filled with singing and dancing but wars nations rising against nation.. brethren against brethren, deceitful lips on the pulpit but we must be discerning as to what we hear, what we allow to reside and what we agree to embark on in this journey of faith

Are you ready to stay with it, your faith in Christ. Are you ready because tomorrow is not promised yes the Bible says all the nation will hear the word before the end comes but do you know when you have a solid rock as your foundation even with all the wars and rumours of wars and different happenings of the end time your gaze is fixed on the high calling that you have in Jesus Christ and you decide no matter what I am going to stay with it. I will not be drawn into what God frowns at.

I will be part of those who will take the gospel of truth to the far parts of the world.

You can do so with your little contribution. A little and consistent drop will eventually be flood of water

My prayer is that we will not be carried away this end times, it is very easily to have slipped far down and think you are still standing

There has been predictions of the world coming to an end but we know from the Bible that it will not happen until the gospel reach everyone every race every country village people of all tribes, culture and views. Modernized all not they all must be reached before it all comes to an end

The question is are we part of those spreading the word

Are we defined to stay with it

Are we part of those fuelling the dog eat dog or throwing fellow believer to be eaten by the wolves who are we

I want us to go back and search our hearts we can preach prosperity, preach grace, preach live and all the preach-ables but if we do not preach about the end time and it's imminent happenings how do we prepare ourselves and constantly remind ourselves that we are not of this world but of the word

There is absolutely nothing happening now in this world that is a surprise to God it is all written in the Bible. The Bible might be an old book to some people but the sayings are never old they are live direct and still relevant

Say lord almighty help me to stay consistently in the word even when the world is against it

Lord help me to trust your word because it is the only truth and life

Lord make me a propagator of the gospel of truth and not a deceiver in Jesus name

Lord help me to practice what I preach and for many who have deviated from the truth bring them back in your mercies in Jesus name

If you are reading this and you are yet to release your all to Jesus and make Him king of your life say

Father I come to you, I acknowledge my sins I renounce them in repentance and I ask you to be the lord and saviour of my life henceforth rule and reign in me in Jesus mighty name

Lord we thank you for your word is life, your is light and your word is the way. Lord we pray that we will always stay with you and the truth of the gospel till we see you in glory. We pray father that we will not be carried away by this world less we forget about eternal life. We ask lord for many who are yet to be reached and countries banning the spread of the gospel we decree open doors and access to the unreachable henceforth. Lord we pray that even as we lead others to you may we never be cast aways in Jesus name. Lord we pray that we will not magnify man into the position of God in our lives in Jesus name thank you heavenly father for answered prayers in Jesus mighty name
