*Text:* Matthew 24:1-14

Jesus then left the Temple. As he walked away, his disciples pointed out how very impressive the Temple architecture was. Jesus said, “You’re not impressed by all this sheer size , are you? The truth of the matter is that there’s not a stone in that building that is not going to end up in a pile of rubble.” Later as he was sitting on Mount Olives, his disciples approached and asked him, “Tell us, when are these things going to happen? What will be the sign of your coming, that the time’s up?” Jesus said, “Watch out for doomsday deceivers. Many leaders are going to show up with forged identities, claiming, ‘I am Christ, the Messiah.’ They will deceive a lot of people. When reports come in of wars and rumored wars, keep your head and don’t panic. This is routine history; this is no sign of the end. Nation will fight nation and ruler fight ruler, over and over. Famines and earthquakes will occur in various places. This is nothing compared to what is coming. “They are going to throw you to the wolves and kill you, everyone hating you because you carry my name. And then, going from bad to worse, it will be dog-eat-dog, everyone at each other’s throat, everyone hating each other. “In the confusion, lying preachers will come forward and deceive a lot of people. For many others, the overwhelming spread of evil will do them in—nothing left of their love but a mound of ashes. “Staying with it—that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved. All during this time, the good news—the Message of the kingdom—will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come.

Everlasting father we worship you. Ancient of days we magnify your name. We give all praise and glory to you alone for you deserve it. Father I commit tonight's study into your hands have your way teach us lord. None of flesh and all of you in our midst. Take preeminence in Jesus name. At the end let all glory return to you.

Topic is stay with it

The begining of the chapter our lord Jesus Christ spoke about the temple that will be destroyed..

To start with I want us to take this word as it is..
When the disciples and Jesus departed the temple the disciples were showing Him the temple I presume how magnificent it was. Jesus then replied that none of the stone of the temple Willbe upon. Each other that they will be thrown down. This eventually happened around 50 to 70AD according to theologians. And the rubbles of the temple are still where they were from then.till now and pilgrims to the holy land confirmed seeing it. Then on the Mount of Olives the disciples asked when this would happen and what the signs will be.

The answer given was not just about the temple again but what will follow in many years to come. The first thing Jesus did was to warn us all that we should take heed that no one decisive you..

Why did I say us all because the message is as relevant as at the time.it happened.

He said many will come saying *I am the Christ*
That statement can be viewed in two ways...

Some will come and claim they are Christ

Some will come and claim that Jesus is Christ

But these two categories have thesame goal and the goal is to deceive people. Do you know there are ma y churches or worship place where indeed they profess Christ but they are not led by Jesus

The spirit of God is not in charge of such places. They twist and turn the Bible into the human understanding and fantasies. These are some of the prophets of doom that will fill the *church age*

We may wonder what is the *church age*🤕🤕🙆🏾🙆🏾 this is the presnet age we are in. The age where by we are gathering under grace and the holy spirit but many are allowing the misunderstanding of grace to trump the leading of the holy spirit
Then he went on to say you will hear rumours of wars but don't be troubled, all these things must come to pass but guess what the end is not here yet. So even with the rumours of war and everyother thing they are all signs the end is not here yet. Nations will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, pestilences and earthquake in various places these are the beginning of sorrow
The message version says they will throw you to the wolves and kill you.. that is the life of a believer will.mean nothing to them.infact killing a believer will.look okay and acceptable.

Then it says going from bad to worse dog eat dog everyone to each others throat everyone hating each other. People will stand for their denomination, all this leading to unnecessary division. You know this is already happening within the Christian community
And to top it all in confusion lying preachers will come forward and deceive a lot of people. Not just few people will be deceieved a lot of people even people who go to church 24/7 will be deceived. The love in them will be nothing but ashes because everyone will be about themselves alone. What are we meant to stay with the truth of the gospel. Then the word says... Staying within, that is what God requires. Stay with it to the end. The truth which is our faith in Jesus Christ not doctrinaires faith or denominational faith but faith in Christ Jesus

You will not be sorry and you will be saved. All during this time the good news the message of the kingdom will be preached all over the world. There will be witnesses in all countries then the end will come

Hallelujah...

We are at the end of time or at the end times many know but the end will only come when every nook and crannies of this planet earth have heard about Jesus christ

You wonder how will this happen with all types of legislation standing up in different parts of the world and many persecution against the Christian.

How will this happen when the leaders of some denominations are deceivers. How will this happen

Remember the word of God will not return to Him void..

It will happen and you and I are parts of the instruments God will use

Many years ago infact when this scripture was pen down there was no internet neither was there any social media or any fast means of transfering messages from one part of the world to another but here we are it is at the tips of our fingers

With a click you can get attentions of millions in different parts of the world.

At thesame time there are people dedicated to take the message of God to unreached but do you know you and I can partake in that through our daily prayer and different means of contribution

Many will say Jesus should not come now I want to do this and that before He comes but as we can see once the gospel reach every part of the world the true gospel not the deceit filled word of men but the true gospel of Jesus so no one will say but I wasn't preached to or it never got to my village so everyone has a fair share of hearing the word

One thing about God is He will never impose anything on human being he made us in a way that we have the ability to make choice. So  when the gospel finally reach the unreached it is now up to them to accept it or make whatever choice that please them

This evening our topic says stay with it... You wonder what am I staying with..

The life (Jesus)

You and I must be ready to stand our ground and be on the guard that our faith will not be tampered with in the midst of the end time charades

A lot is happening and when we look into the word of God we will find answers.

Either in the church or circular world men are in a haste to take the position of God. The deceiving preachers are drawing the glory and attention to themselves instead of the lord almighty

Believers are beginning to wax cold because trust have been abused, many who so reverence men in the high places of ministry are being let down people are beginning to question the existence of God in their heart because what they see that points them to God is gradually letting them down

When the end comes everyone will stand before God not on behalf of anyone and the funniest thing is there is no difference of gender your status quo or qualifications or titled would not guarantee where you stand but your state of salvation that is if you are saved

But this is where the topic comes in stay with Jesus it doesn't matter if the people you highly reverence are falling your focus mainly should not or never be on man but God almighty

I know these days we here lots of prophecies and decree and revelations but I want to encourage us to be a Christian that put their stand on the word in the word and with the word

Jesus didn't promise us that the end time will be filled with singing and dancing but wars nations rising against nation.. brethren against brethren, deceitful lips on the pulpit but we must be discerning as to what we hear, what we allow to reside and what we agree to embark on in this journey of faith

Are you ready to stay with it, your faith in Christ. Are you ready because tomorrow is not promised yes the Bible says all the nation will hear the word before the end comes but do you know when you have a solid rock as your foundation even with all the wars and rumours of wars and different happenings of the end time your gaze is fixed on the high calling that you have in Jesus Christ and you decide no matter what I am going to stay with it. I will not be drawn into what God frowns at.

I will be part of those who will take the gospel of truth to the far parts of the world.

You can do so with your little contribution. A little and consistent drop will eventually be flood of water

My prayer is that we will not be carried away this end times, it is very easily to have slipped far down and think you are still standing

There has been predictions of the world coming to an end but we know from the Bible that it will not happen until the gospel reach everyone every race every country village people of all tribes, culture and views. Modernized all not they all must be reached before it all comes to an end

The question is are we part of those spreading the word

Are we defined to stay with it

Are we part of those fuelling the dog eat dog or throwing fellow believer to be eaten by the wolves who are we

I want us to go back and search our hearts we can preach prosperity, preach grace, preach live and all the preach-ables but if we do not preach about the end time and it's imminent happenings how do we prepare ourselves and constantly remind ourselves that we are not of this world but of the word

There is absolutely nothing happening now in this world that is a surprise to God it is all written in the Bible. The Bible might be an old book to some people but the sayings are never old they are live direct and still relevant

Say lord almighty help me to stay consistently in the word even when the world is against it

Lord help me to trust your word because it is the only truth and life

Lord make me a propagator of the gospel of truth and not a deceiver in Jesus name

Lord help me to practice what I preach and for many who have deviated from the truth bring them back in your mercies in Jesus name

If you are reading this and you are yet to release your all to Jesus and make Him king of your life say

Father I come to you, I acknowledge my sins I renounce them in repentance and I ask you to be the lord and saviour of my life henceforth rule and reign in me in Jesus mighty name

Lord we thank you for your word is life, your is light and your word is the way. Lord we pray that we will always stay with you and the truth of the gospel till we see you in glory. We pray father that we will not be carried away by this world less we forget about eternal life. We ask lord for many who are yet to be reached and countries banning the spread of the gospel we decree open doors and access to the unreachable henceforth. Lord we pray that even as we lead others to you may we never be cast aways in Jesus name. Lord we pray that we will not magnify man into the position of God in our lives in Jesus name thank you heavenly father for answered prayers in Jesus mighty name
