How can ordinary word describe you?
How can I thank God enough for you?
The sleepless night jist to make sure I go to bed safetly.
The days you fast so that I can have enough to eat.
The pain you took just to hold me inside you for those months of pregnancy.
The silent tears that rolls down your face when you are overwhelmed with joy.
The perfect smile that hides your sadness.
The nights you stay awake praying to God just for me.
The days you understand my "gibberish" as a baby even when the whole world had no clue of my utterances.
The first day I went to school you stood by the gate making sure I was ok even when I was out of sight you still waved.
The days you hid your pain and use your little strength to give me mighty strength.
The times you kiss my wounds better.
The times you tell me how blessed I am.
The times you embrace me in your arms taking away my fears and giving me faith.
The daily knowledge you impact in me about the fear of the Lord.
The unending love you show to me which gives me the understanding of importance of love.

Mother you are blessed and highly favoured.

There are somethings we get ourselves involved in and don't realise its a sin. It's wise to ask that God reveal them to us and forgive us.

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

**Foundation Crisis**
The foundation of any structure determines how the structure stands. The foundation of a man can either make or mar the man. The scripture says if the foundation be destroyed what can the righteous do.  The only thing from my perspective the righteous can do is run to the author and finisher of our faith. The creator can never be clueless of how to heal a sick or repair a destroyed foundation.

Sometimes human being fight the present for the past problems. Locating the source of any problem in life is the best way to tackle the problem and find solution. I heard a story of a family that every member runs mad on the day of  a great do e.g wedding or graduation. It's been reoccuring until it happened to one member who was a believer while interceding for her the Lord revealed the curse of the problem to the intercessors. Her past generation had wronged a mad woman and the curse on the mad woman came upon their generation.  The person that commited the act is been dead and long gone but the seed is just manifesting.

I believe the Lord is speaking to you and I today that we should pray that He heals our foundation and deliver us from all generational curses that we know or don't know of in Jesus name amen.

May the Lord speak a word of change into our foundations. If the  foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do? Run to God almighty He is the all knowing all powerful He is able to turn things round for your favour and to His glory.

So Tamar dwelt in her brother Absalom's house, a desolate woman. Now Absalom commanded his servants, Notice now, when Amnon's heart is merry with wine and when I say to you, Strike Amnon, then kill him. Fear not; have I not commanded you? Be courageous and brave. But Jonadab son of Shimeah, David's brother, said, Let not my lord suppose they have killed all the king's sons; for Amnon only is dead. This purpose has shown itself on Absalom's determined mouth ever since the day Amnon humiliated his sister Tamar."

**Scarred Heart**
The story of Amnon and Tamar is a sad  story of a step brother and sister.  If you read the chapter from the beginning you will understand that Amnon fancied his sister but Jonadab their cousin advised him to pretend He was ill and ask the King to send Tamar to come and feed him. Jonadab could have advised Amnon to ask the hand of Tamar in marriage from the King and all would be legalised. To cut the long story short, Amnon raped Tamar taking away her pride, causing Tamar to live in Absalom her brother's house as a desolate woman. He gave her a scar she couldn't just forget even if she forgive him. Absalom was more scarred than his sister because he took it upon himself to revenge and he plot the death of amnon successfully. Aside the fact that there was already a curse on the house of David which this is part of its fulfilment. 

Scarred heart, sometimes we come across friends / family like Jonadab who teach us against our wish and the will of God.
who is your confidant? Who is my confidant?
We will be scarred at some point in our life but it should no determine our progress in life it should only remind us of who we were or where we had been. Another lesson from here is we should be mindful of the reaction of people we share our pain with, somethings are best shared with God and ask for Him to heal you and vindicate you. Vegeance is the Lord's if Absalom had left Amnon for God I know Amnon won't have gone unpurnished.

This morning God is speaking to us to let go of that scar, let Him heal us of the hurts and disappointment don't fight for yourself let Him fight for you. Lord help me to use my scar positively and not negatively in Jesus name amen.

**Incomparable God**
I love to remind myself of who God is, it gives me confidence of who my father, helper, saviour, deliverer, provider, defender is. The portion above tells us about God. He created all including people who make mini gods He made them. Is your confidence increasing?
Sometimes we tend to forget the power of God and we allow little things that the wind of God called thunder from HIS treasuries can blow away and strike down to non existence,  we allow it to dictate to us.  He alone is the living God who will live when all living things stops living.  His voice trembles the whole earth. How awesome He is, our God is indescribable incomparable God words of mouth cannot fathom His greatness.

My dear friends today just worship God call Him His names. Understand the names, Jehovah Jireh the Lord that provides, Jehovah Rapha our healer, Jehovah shalom prince of peace, Jehovah Nissi our banner of victory, Jehovah Qanna the jealous God, Jehovah Elshadai Lord God Almighty. Our God is worthy and mighty.

**Anxious heart**
There is a saying that at times you go to bed with the world under your feet and wake up with the world on top of you. Sometimes you go to bed with the world on top of you and wake up with the world under your feet. You won't understand except you have gone through such phase in your life. Waking up with hope, joy and filled with encouraged spirit is the will of God for us His children. The enemy of your soul wants and wish otherwise.  From the scripture above God is assuring us that He will come to save us.

It can be disheartening when you hope and wait for long and it seems like God is silent, when it seems like time is going yet you have nothing to show how far you have come. Remember its not how far but how well. I can relate with this state of mind having being there before. The best thing is to encourage yourself in the Lord through His words, Hymns and Psalms. Also remind yourself of times God has come forth for you even when you didn't deserve it. At that time you feel like ending it all He shine His light and dead hope resurrected.

This morning God is saying to me Be strong, do not fear, I will come and save you. Hallelujah.

A [self-confident] fool has no delight in understanding but only in revealing his personal opinions and himself.

**I have a lot to say!!!**
The phrase above is common, at least you must have heard it once. The scripture above likened the person that talks without understanding just for the sake of talking to a fool. A fool they say, have to say something while the wise have something to say. Some times we have found ourselves in such position wanting to pour out our mind at all cost not necessarily thinking of the consequences.  It's not bad pouring your mind out but there are times when you need to apply wisdom. A person that talks like parrot is an easy tool for destroying relationship. When you talk do you listen to what you say as well as listen to others?

You and I must have been guilty of such either in the past or at present. Today the word of God is telling us to briddle our tongue put a guard on it. Don't be the chair person of fools. The word of God says wisdom is profitable to direct, His word also says the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Basically if His fear resides in you, wisdom will accompany your utterances. That means you check what you say and not say what you check. Understanding what the fear of God is through His word will deepen your level of wisdom.

Let your words even on social media be words of wisdom, Don't follow the crown target the everlasting crown. We shall give account of all we say either in our closet or on social media one day. May God help us and teach us  how to guard our tongues in Jesus name amen.

Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, For you will spread abroad to the right hand and to the left; and your offspring will possess the nations and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

***Step of Faith***
When we hear the word enlarge what comes to our mind is increase and every words of multiplication. In the above scripture the word of the Lord is saying hold nothing back take a step of faith move from that stationed position and possess where you have been bound from reaching before. Hmm! Is that possible? Yes it is Hebrews 11:1 backs it up, its a work of faith. It's what you hope for and evidence of things not seen. Faith you wonder!  Yes a faithless believer is more or less an unbeliever.

To receive your expectations from God, faith must be activated. How much faith do I need you wonder? The word of God says if you have faith as small as mustard seed. Mustard seed is tinier than the tip of your finger. For example small can do great things(like moving mountains), medium faith can do greater things (healing the sick and raising the dead) large faith can do mighty things( moving the world to God).  The measure of your progress is determined by the faithful steps you take.
 
Dear friend God is telling us to take away every mindset of barriers and do as Phil4:13 say I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Do not hold back, step out in faith let the Lord carry your burdens, hand it over to Him, Hide in His name the strong tower and you will see great and mighty things He will do for you, in you and through you in Jesus name amen.

***Too Busy For Salvation***
We live in a modern world where people can be so busy with things that does nothing other than drain their soul of its purpose. Everything about this age is fast its even affecting our salvation.  Once I was out evangelising the  person said to me that I don't want to accept Jesus now I want to enjoy more then later I can accept Him. I prayed for the person and handed Him over to God. Some believers are too busy for salvation.  We major on minor and minor on major. We are workers in His vineyard yet we are far from knowing Him. We are busy with things that doesn't strengthen our salvation. Salvation is personal don't be distracted by things that profits you nothing guard your salvation with fear and trembling.

Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.  He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.     “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

The Lord spoke a lot in parables especially when He describes Heaven. In this particular one He likened heaven to a wedding banquet. Looking at the extravagant settings of weddings on earth I can but imagine what the Heavenly wedding banquet will look like. I have been privileged to attend some unique wedding celebrations both for my family and for friends. Every one of them possessed their own uniqueness,  taste of food, amount of guests, venue and others. No matter how big or small the wedding was or is a price had been paid by the host, money, time, intellects and God knows what had been put together to hold such event.

Back to the scriptures, the king inviting people to this Heavenly banquet had paid a price in order to cater for the needs of the invited guests. He said "Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’'
Oh my! Heaven is loaded with what earth can never see, it is loaded with imperishable things because those who are invited and will make it will become imperishable.  So imagine if you like Jamaican jerk chicken like I do you will eat and never get full or tired and it won't finish unfortunately we won't be eating such in Heaven but what is much better than that.
He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come,
We the believers are the servants in this parable sent out to the invited guests (backsliders, unbelievers and all human beings regardless of race or sexual orientation). Are we obeying the king?  Are we going out to minister to the lost souls? Are we living an evangelistic life? God is speaking to you and I today He is urging us to go out and win souls for the wedding banquet.

Let us not shy away or disobey The King of Kings.  Let us go-a-fishing.

Prayer as we know is the communication between man and God. I personally say its communication between my father and I. It's certain that God knows our needs before we ask but its essential to say it to Him in prayer. The answer might tarry and hope might seem almost lost but God will never fail His children.  The scripture says prayer of faith, that is your prayer must be backed up with faith before it can be effective. "Prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up" so only a prayer of faith can cause the hands of God to do a new thing changing impossibility to possibility. Friends today engage not just in prayer but prayer of faith. Never get tired of praying a prayer of faith.

Revenge! Revenge!! Revenge!!!
Are you guilty,  am I guilty? When people hurt us so bad and we just wish within that thunder will just strike them down because we feel so hurt. At times we quickly ask God for mercy but when we see the perpetrator oh my! You feel like hurting them back. That is human nature the flesh in us is always ready to give tit for tat. The scripture above tells us not to repay evil with evil because God will rescue us. When you try to fight for yourself you will use human power that can eventually become weak. God is more powerful than all powers all over the world now imagine Him rescuing you, He will probably pick you up with the tip of His finger yet you can't fall from that finger tip.
I hope you are being ministered to today as I am through the living word. Let go and let God.

Philippians 2:9-11 AMP
Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The scripture above tell us how Christ stooped low . From studies I understand that Jesus took seven seven voluntary steps down which are ( He made himself of no reputation,  took form of a bond servant,  came in likeness of man, found in appearance as man, humbled himself, became obedient to death, even death on the cross). God the father  lifted him up in seven steps ( God highly exalted Him,  Gave Him a name, those in heaven will bow, those on earth will bow, those under the earth will bow, every tongue will confess Him Lord, Jesus Christ is Lord). Our Lord Jesus Christ did not portray Himself as God while on earth. These days even ministers of God have turned to mini gods. I will not doubt the fact that there are true end time armies among ministers of God who are Christ like. This is a call for us to check ourselves. To be great in life it's in the hands of God. Announcing your arrival when you are meant to be observing the environment can terminate your purpose. Humbling yourself leads to being lifted up by God. Empty vessel they say makes the loudest noise.
Let God lift you up and not man.

Philippians 2:7-8 AMP
But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!

The Christian journey is personal as we all know but one way or the other we come across people in life that we either impact positively or negatively.  Christians are enjoined to be like Jesus, the word Christian means Christ like.
Are we Christ like?
Looking at the scripture above its stated that Christ humbled himself to the point of death, He stripped himself of all privileges to assume the guise of a servant or slave in order to save you and I even to the very point of death he was humble. Some of struggle with this,  we think being humble is an eye service thing forgetting that it must first be settled spiritually so that its physical impact will be done worthily.  Yes spiritually,  the spiritual controls the physical  when you struggle to do His will go back to the manual of prayer and ask for the Manufacturer's help. Prayer settles spiritual battle and its activated in the physical world. At times one may need to deny oneself in fasting to achieve some spiritual gift as long as its to the glory of God. So my lovely friend this day do you still struggle with humility or anything, you want to be humble or Christ like but flesh is busy waring against the spirit. Take it to the Altar, hand it over to God then listen for His direction. He is perfect and He wants us to be perfect, when we struggle with imperfection He is available to lead us through if we call on Him. May the Lord help us in Jesus name amen.  Have a blessed day.

Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:] Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained,

Attitude they say determines your altitude. Charisma I will say is not character and your character can mare or make you.  It hurts when someone with a glorious future is limited not because of anything but their own attitude and character. The scripture above says  we should possess same attitude like Jesus even though He is God while on earth , He didn't use that Identity to manipulate or show off in anyway. Even when they ask Him, His answer was you said it. Some of us use position like its our purpose of existence. Before you got to that position someone was there and when you leave someone will take over. Why use that position negatively when you can make positive impact. God delights in those who humble themselves always. Even if you are the president of the whole world you can never be greater than God.
Dear friend what is that attitude or charisma that is rubbishing your Christian conducts? Ask God to help you get rid of it or them in Jesus name amen.

Therefore if there  is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be  done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

For any fellowship to be of the Holy Spirit,  there must be unity. For unity to stand in the midst of people from different background there must be love and their goal must tally. It is a futile effort to do anything for God all because of selfish ambition. Your ambition must be handed over to God for you to function in line with His will and way. To work well as united beings, one must not esteem them self better than the other. In the body of Christ this day we have preferences on what we will do for God and how we will do it. Forgetting that our choice must be left aside and His choice must be the first and preceding choice. To function in His will you must be ready to look out for others interest and not just your interest. You must be a willing sheep and not a goat spirited sheep. The sheep never complains about the shepherd it follows the shepherd because it knows the shepherd has its best interest at heart.
My brothers and sisters in your walk with or service to God always allow His will to rule over yours, never esteem your self higher or better than anyone let it be all for God and not for man.

May our labour in His vineyard be acceptable and not in vain in Jesus name amen.
