Don't Stop Interceding

When we hear or read about the word intercession we imagine people who are gifted in standing in gap. Most people believe intercession is a duty or call of particular people.

Honestly we are all blessed in the area of intercession.  Just as Christ keeps interceding for us (Romans 8:34) before God we ought to be like Christ and intercede on behalf of others.

Many are times we give up on interceding for others because we can't see the change that ought to be taking place as a result of our prayers.  We forget that the only one who can change is the Unchangeable changer (God Almighty).

Taking a goldsmiths or a potter for example; a goldsmith won't leave the gold crude if he wants to get the beauty out even as the fire is intensified it takes time before the desired result is acquired. Same thing applies to the potter the shaping breaking amd designing of the clay takes a while but he never give up or stop until the best is acquired.

When you pray for anyone don't expect instant miracle. While God is working on that person the person might be portraying the worst behaviour and you will get worried and discouraged.  It's normal to feel that way as a human but never give up on praying for others. Prayer is like saving money in the bank a day will come when you will need it for the right use.

Dear friend don't give up praying for that parent (s) of yours, your sibling,  colleague,  friend, community, nation, children and as many you pray for. The result might tarry but be rest assured your prayers are not waste of time but best investment of time in the life of others.

Don't stop interceding!

Not Power But Spirit

There is a common song sang in churches and it goes thus "it's not by power, it's not by might but by my spirit says the Lord, this mountain shall be removed..."

Zechariah 4:6 NLT "Then he said to me, “This is what the lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the lord of Heaven’s Armies."

The lyrics of that song is derived from the verse above. When you hear power you think of authority, capacity, strength and any word that qualifies enablement for an ordinary man. Power gives people the right to do things.  The word of God is saying otherwise that the power or might isn't or shouldn't be where your confidence lies but in the spirit.

Spirit to a lame man is something that can be seen. Think about it how can an unseen force be more qualified than a seen force? You can see power at work but spirit can't be seen yet God says it's by My Spirit that is the Holy Spirit who is in charge of the present state.

Many are times we plan things relying on our power yet it flops like an omelette in a frying pan. God is saying to us this morning to rely more and yield more to the leading of the spirit allow the spirit to enable your physical power. Allow the spirit to increase your wisdom, allow the spirit to take you from an ordinary level to an extraordinary level. Commune with Him let Him be your eyes and direct your thoughts.

I don't know what it is you have tried endlessly yet the effort is proving fruitless God is saying allow my spirit and let go of ordinary power so you can be endowed with supernatural presence through the Holy Spirit. As you do so the mountains will be removed, the valley will become levelled ground and you will shout for joy because your victory is certain in Jesus name amen.

Father enable me to allow more of your spirit so I can rule and reign as you want me to in the land of the living in Jesus name amen.

He created man to rule and dominate over all creatures because man is God's image but unfortunately man live these days not exactly as the Lord intends them to live.

Many live life forgetting that their is a giver of life, many live life not up to the measure  of what the creator expects.

As believers we are expected to live according to the purpose of our creation not below it. We are to dominate but many are subjected to slavery both spiritually and physically. We withhold greatness through walking by sight and not faith.

His word is yea and Amen remember if He doesn't mean it He won't say it. Today go back to Elshadai and let Him lead while you follow and as the floor becomes shaky look up and stretch your arms out He will carry you and see you through.

I will fulfill my purpose as the rain and sun fulfill  theirs. I will not live a purposeless life in Jesus name amen

Be Inspired End of The Month Fasting and Prayers  October  29th (Wednesday) - 31st (friday) 2014.
Theme: "Is it Impossible For God? "
Text : Genesis 18:14a "Is anything too hard for the Lord ? "

Praise God for the grace He has bestowed on us to witness yet another month end. We are not worthy but He has counted us worthy by His grace and divine ordinance all glory to Him in Jesus name amen.

The theme for this month is a tricky but straight forward question which often runs through the minds of believers. It's a question believers are asked by the Lord or they ask themselves when situation becomes unbearable and challenges becomes the order of the day.

Is anything too hard for the Lord? Is it impossible for God? The word impossible in a lame man's language basically mean what can't be done. As a child of God we need to always remind our selves that we are the children of the one who can do and undo that is; He can make the impossible possible and make the possible impossible. Yes He can.

We all know the story prior to the question in the Bible Text Father Abraham and Sarah his wife were waiting to have their own child. Although,  Sarah had made father Abraham cut corners just to fulfill the term fatherhood through a maid yet they longed for their own seed as the Lord promised them.

I want us to address issue of cutting corners ahead of the plans of God, it might primarily settle the burning issue or quench the thirst but it will not  finally solve the issue because we run ahead of God. Hagar gave Abraham a son but Ishmael wasn't the seed God promised Abraham and Sarah. Another thing cutting corners does is that it prolongs the answers to prayer because instead of wholly focusing on God you will be half satisfied with the present solution yet awaits the ultimate and best solution.

After using up our human efforts and ability and God's promise reaffirms itself we are bound to act like Sarah.  Genesis 18:13-14 NKJV "And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a  child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord ? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Sarah laughed because she thought well my biological clock is against me conceiving,  after how many years the Lord had promised us a child yet we don't have one how can it happen now. Then the Lord asked Abraham is anything too hard for the Lord. As in is anything beyond my  power?  Can any authority overrule mine? will my word go back void without fulfilling the purpose it was sent forth?

Brethren I don't know if we are at the verge of giving up or doubt or clothed with unbelief right now because the promise is taking long to fulfill but can you answer the question, is anything hard for God? My answer is NO!  He can do abundantly above what we think or ask for because He alone is powerful.

While you wait for Him never admit defeat, never allow the decrees of men or the obvious signs of men to shift your focus from God. Your focus can easily be shifted but pray for grace to keep your focus on God. His favour always takes unnecessary labour away because He is God. Check what you engage yourself in, aspire and make sure you live Holy, Be dilligent in the things of God, be a soul winner, don't live a carnal  Christian life be spiritual and yield to the Holy spirit. Let your relationship with God be on your priority list don't make God plan B in your life. Be Heaven conscious try this and God who blesses those who call Him in secret openly will show His power upon you in Jesus name amen.

My father I thank you for giving me grace to partake in this month's fasting and Prayer you alone deserve my worship in Jesus name

Heavenly father forgive my unbelief and deliver me from doubtful mind in Jesus name

Rock of Ages I believe nothing is impossible for you help me so I can stay focused on you and not lose my focus to the challenges around me in Jesus name

Lord as you brought to past at the exact time your promise for Sarah bring to pass your promise for me and let my laughter come just as Sarah had Isaac in Jesus name

Oh Lord Jesus  give me the enablement to live righteously and draw souls unto you in Jesus name

Lord Jesus after this period of fasting let me experience your hand over situations that men had said is impossible for me to be victorious on in Jesus name

Lord do not let me lose focus on Heaven while I get carried away by the worries of life in Jesus name

Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity, Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, And bend their  bows  to  shoot their arrows—bitter words, That they may shoot in secret at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear. Thank you Lord for this new dawn and the breath of life in Jesus name

Father have mercy and forgive me of all my sins in Jesus name

Lord I thank you for winning my battles for me in Jesus name

Hear my voice and meditation of my heart in Jesus name

Father deliver me and my household from the captives of the enemies in Jesus

Oh Lord hide me and my household from the secret plots of the wicked in Jesus name

Lord Jesus expose the plans of the evil one concerning me and my household and give us victory over them in Jesus

As many that sharpen their tongue and shoot their arrows against my destiny let them turn it towards themselves in Jesus name

Father shoot at the enemy in all areas never let their attack overshadow us in Jesus name

I soak myself, family, friends, church and community with the blood of Jesus in Jesus name

Lord baptise me with the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus  name
