Be Inspired End of The Month Fasting and Prayers October 29th (Wednesday) - 31st (friday) 2014.
Theme: "Is it Impossible For God? "
Text : Genesis 18:14a "Is anything too hard for the Lord ? "
Praise God for the grace He has bestowed on us to witness yet another month end. We are not worthy but He has counted us worthy by His grace and divine ordinance all glory to Him in Jesus name amen.
The theme for this month is a tricky but straight forward question which often runs through the minds of believers. It's a question believers are asked by the Lord or they ask themselves when situation becomes unbearable and challenges becomes the order of the day.
Is anything too hard for the Lord? Is it impossible for God? The word impossible in a lame man's language basically mean what can't be done. As a child of God we need to always remind our selves that we are the children of the one who can do and undo that is; He can make the impossible possible and make the possible impossible. Yes He can.
We all know the story prior to the question in the Bible Text Father Abraham and Sarah his wife were waiting to have their own child. Although, Sarah had made father Abraham cut corners just to fulfill the term fatherhood through a maid yet they longed for their own seed as the Lord promised them.
I want us to address issue of cutting corners ahead of the plans of God, it might primarily settle the burning issue or quench the thirst but it will not finally solve the issue because we run ahead of God. Hagar gave Abraham a son but Ishmael wasn't the seed God promised Abraham and Sarah. Another thing cutting corners does is that it prolongs the answers to prayer because instead of wholly focusing on God you will be half satisfied with the present solution yet awaits the ultimate and best solution.
After using up our human efforts and ability and God's promise reaffirms itself we are bound to act like Sarah. Genesis 18:13-14 NKJV "And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord ? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Sarah laughed because she thought well my biological clock is against me conceiving, after how many years the Lord had promised us a child yet we don't have one how can it happen now. Then the Lord asked Abraham is anything too hard for the Lord. As in is anything beyond my power? Can any authority overrule mine? will my word go back void without fulfilling the purpose it was sent forth?
Brethren I don't know if we are at the verge of giving up or doubt or clothed with unbelief right now because the promise is taking long to fulfill but can you answer the question, is anything hard for God? My answer is NO! He can do abundantly above what we think or ask for because He alone is powerful.
While you wait for Him never admit defeat, never allow the decrees of men or the obvious signs of men to shift your focus from God. Your focus can easily be shifted but pray for grace to keep your focus on God. His favour always takes unnecessary labour away because He is God. Check what you engage yourself in, aspire and make sure you live Holy, Be dilligent in the things of God, be a soul winner, don't live a carnal Christian life be spiritual and yield to the Holy spirit. Let your relationship with God be on your priority list don't make God plan B in your life. Be Heaven conscious try this and God who blesses those who call Him in secret openly will show His power upon you in Jesus name amen.

My father I thank you for giving me grace to partake in this month's fasting and Prayer you alone deserve my worship in Jesus name
Heavenly father forgive my unbelief and deliver me from doubtful mind in Jesus name
Rock of Ages I believe nothing is impossible for you help me so I can stay focused on you and not lose my focus to the challenges around me in Jesus name
Lord as you brought to past at the exact time your promise for Sarah bring to pass your promise for me and let my laughter come just as Sarah had Isaac in Jesus name
Oh Lord Jesus give me the enablement to live righteously and draw souls unto you in Jesus name
Lord Jesus after this period of fasting let me experience your hand over situations that men had said is impossible for me to be victorious on in Jesus name
Lord do not let me lose focus on Heaven while I get carried away by the worries of life in Jesus name
Lord I pray for all members of Be Inspired that our Testimony will be full before this year runs out in Jesus name
