"Any one also of the people of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, who takes in hunting any beast or bird that may be eaten shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth. What is Blood?

From the Wikipedia blood is a body fluid in humans and other animals that delivers necessary substances such as nutrients and oxygen to the cells and transports metabolic waste products away from those same cells. In vertebrates, it is composed of blood cells suspended in blood plasma.

Blood plays an important role in regulating the body's systems and maintaining homeostasis. Other functions include supplying oxygen and nutrients to tissues, removing waste, transporting hormones and other signals throughout the body, and regulating body pH and core body temperature.

Going into the word of God now.

In Leviticus 17:11-14.. it talks about how the blood of the animals were used in the Old Testament as atonement for sin... In those days to ask for forgiveness of sin you must shed blood.. and there are certain procedure at which the shedding of blood must be done and what follows. The priest has an order to follow..

In that verse 14 the word of God says.. *the life of every creature is it's blood.*

There is no living being that doesn't have a means of survival through blood.

If you have have ever seen anyone with low Hb (blood level) and need of blood transfusion and they are symptomatic.. they look less than themself.. the strength isn't there and fatigue level gets higher and higher.

In Acts 20:28 there is a discussion about purchasing the flock with His own blood...

Here we can understand the only person who came to this world and purchase us with His blood is Jesus Christ.

The blood He shed on Calvary paid for your debt and my debt.

The topic says Life in the blood...

The life we have as a believer was given to us and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ.

It is important that we understand that we are not the owner of ourselves and the fact that someone paid for us with His own blood. 

I don't know about you but I still believe the blood of Jesus works. 

Years ago someone close to me was hospitalised suddenly.

Yes, suddenly, and it was a battle for life going to hospital in ambulance in blue light all through.

On getting there the entire statistics of the observation was flying through the roof, it wasn't making any sense whatsoever.

The person was stabilised and admitted immediately.

We were praying.. then from observations room the person was transferred to the ward.

And was given a side room because they were querying lots of things.. as we got into the ward being in health care myself I heard from their handover that the last person in the room just died before we were moved there.

It was like no hope was available.

I decided to do what I know how to do - call on God.

This moment emotions were running, prayer chains was forming everywhere possible and as discreet as possible.

But right there and then the Holy spirit said 'anoint the entrance of that room.'

'Plead the blood of Jesus.'

I heeded that instruction.

I can't even remember if I had anointing oil or not...

But I went to the lintel of the room, pleaded the blood of Jesus. I wasn't bothered if it was hospital.. I was praying and God answered.

The blood still works and the person to the glory of God came out alive.

Do you believe in the blood of Jesus?

The life you and I have now is because of that blood and you must never underestimate the blood of Jesus.

The Bible says in Ephesians 1:7 

In Him we have redemption *through His blood* the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

So there is no redemption without the power of the blood.

There would have been no salvation if not for the blood.

We are all here now with different things of different faith and denomination but one thing that binds us together is faith in Christ.

I do not want to encourage anyone to downplay or underestimate the power in the blood of Jesus.

Many are times we quote the blood of Jesus does better things than the blood of Abel but understanding the in depth power of what the blood of Jesus can do is very important. 

In the world we live now with all the pandemic and fear that is cross contaminating the world many have forgotten about the faith they have in God. 

Many have forgotten about the power in His name...

Many have forgotten about the power in the word...

Many have totally neglected the power in the blood of Jesus...

But you cannot benefit from what you do not believe.

It is very important that you do not just use the blood of Jesus as an exclamation as many use the name of Jesus.

When you call on the blood of Jesus you are asking for His redemptive power to come into that situation.

Has anyone watched sound of Music?

Remember how the father blew His whistle and those children just fall in line according to the sound that belongs to them? 

When you call the blood of Jesus the power of God is at attention to come to redeem.

When redemption happens there is a form of restoration.

How many of us have even remembered to called on His blood upon ourselves since this pandemic started?

How many of us have soaked ourselves in His blood?

The blood in your blood stream is that of Christ.

Because your body is His temple.

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Romans 8:11 ESV

We probably quote this verse so often but I want us to look at the word 'If....'

The word of God says If the spirit of him who raised Jesus from dead dwells in you...

The blood of Jesus and His spirit cannot accommodate perishable things.

No disease of man or the spirit can tie Him down.

Then it goes on to say he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal body through the spirit that dwells in you.

So when the redemptive blood is in you, your body is quickened and strengthened supernaturally.

Your life is no longer in the mundane blood but in the blood of Jesus.

The life you have is in the blood of Jesus.

The thing is, you can confess that your life is in the blood and yet fill your life with what doesn't agree with Him.

The word of God works...

The blood of Jesus works...

The name of Jesus works...

The word never fails...

His name never fails...

His blood never fails...

Are you still driven by what is being said around the world and focusing less on the fountain of life?

Remember life is in the blood.

And when you claim to have the blood of Jesus, there is life that is supernatural inside of you because your life isn't just in an ordinary blood but in the blood of Jesus.

I hope your faith has risen.

I believe God has quickened your spirit to focus on the one who owns and gives life.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we worship your majesty and thank you for this wonderful time with you and your word.

Lord thank you for your unfailing grace that keeps me strong always.

Father thank you for the redemptive power of the blood that works inside of me.

Father thank you for the supernatural ability to partake in your blood that delivers and save.

Father henceforth let your blood speak for this nation.

Father as your blood redeems, redeem our homes, community, nation and world from blood sucking demons and authority.

I decree I am immune by the power in the blood therefore no sickness can dwell in me.

I destroy every unwanted disease generated into any organ of my body and family in Jesus name.

I decree I and my household are covered in the blood of Jesus we will never fall prey of any works of darkness in Jesus name.

“To the angel (divine messenger) of the church in   Sardis write:   T hese are the words of Him who has   the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: ‘I know your deeds; you have a name (reputation) that you are alive, but [in reality] you are dead.  Wake up, and strengthen and reaffirm what remains [of your faithful commitment to Me], which is about to die; for I have not found [any of] your deeds completed in the sight of My God or meeting His requirements.  So remember and take to heart the lessons you have received and heard. Keep and obey them, and repent [change your sinful way of thinking, and demonstrate your repentance with new behavior that proves a conscious decision to turn away from sin]. So then, if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.  But you [still] have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes [that is, contaminated their character and personal integrity with sin]; and they will walk with Me [dressed] in white, because they are worthy (righteous).  He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God] will accordingly be dressed in white clothing; and I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, and I will confess and openly acknowledge his name before My Father and before His angels [saying that he is one of Mine]. He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.’

Revelation 3:1‭-‬6 AMP

Glory be to God almighty who is forever able. He is the alpha the Omega, the begining and the end. I do not take it for granted sharing the word of God at anytime because I know if not for Him it will be impossible for me to share the word.

Lord thank you for another opportunity, I ask lord that you make the message as you want it to be and give us all a receptive heart in Jesus name

The topic says *There is an End*. To everything that has a beginning on earth there is always an end. The only one that we will never know the beginning or the end of it is God almighty.

In the book of Revelation 3:1-6 here the spirit of the spoke extensively about keeping garment white and sin.

The focus of this chapter was on the Church in Sardis... The spirit of the lord said in verse one *_I know your record and what you are doing, you are supposed to be alive but (in reality) you are dead_*

I want us to take this words to heart nothing is hidden from God, no matter how secretive we tend to live our lives, no matter the human security and precaution guage we place on our lives it's all opened to God. In the verse we can see the spirit of God speaking to the people of Sardis.

In the next verse the word of God says Rouse yourself and keep awake....

Many of us might think but I am awake, but here it's talking about spiritual awakening, from the first verse we were made to understand that many claimed to be alive but in reality are dead. That explained the spiritual state of many at that time in the church in Sardis and it still very relevant to our lives and times now. 

Going further the word of God says *_Strengthen and invigorate what remains and is on the point of dying;for I have not found a thing that you have done(any works of yours) meeting the requirements of My God or perfect in His sight_*

Hmm!!!! This is worth a deep sigh, when the word says what you are doing isn't meeting the requirements of the perfect God.

Have you ever asked God am I fulfilling your requirement for me on earth. Are you just carried away by just what you should or can achieve?

I know many of us believe that we cannot be perfect but the truth is that is a lie of the devil because God is coming in the end for a perfect church, that is a perfect you and I. A church that is without blemish, a church that is worthy of filling those mansions in heaven.

Reading further;

*_so call to mind the lessons you received and heard; continually lay them to heart and obey them, and repent. In case you will not rouse yourself and keep awake and watch, I will come upon you like a thief, and you will not know or suspect at what hour I will come_*

We are admonished here to stay awake spiritually as believers and for those who will not, the coming of the lord will happen unannounced and because they aren't prepared they will be shocked. But God is forever merciful that He will not hide things away from His own but if you choose to be ignorant of it you will fall in the categories of those who will be met unprepared.

Going further the word of God explained that there are some who have kept their garment unsoiled and they will walk before God because they are worthy and deserving. He said their names will not be blotted out of the book of life, they will be acknowledged as God's own and their names will be mentioned boldly on that judgement day as worthy vessels. He who has an ear let him hear what the spirit is saying to the church.

I pray our names will not be blotted out of the book of life in Jesus name.

Many might say the message was for the church in Sardis but like I mentioned earlier the relevance of the message is still there and it applies to us this day.

Many of us know that when something starts there will be an end, no matter how good that thing is there will always be a time you either let go of that thing or the thing finish before you or finish you whichever way there is an end.

The events around the world these days explains and shows to us  how close the end is. How rapid things are causing panic how many are so scared that it might simply bring an end to them. But the truth is without Christ in your life you are already living dead because spiritually you are not awake. You are dead spiritually even though you are very much alive.

The disheartening thing is without Christ the end of such is pain but with Christ you know sure that there is no end for you but life in His kingdom, you basically change location to a better place where there is no sorrow.

Each day always remember it's grace and privilege of God to be standing alive on earth nothing but His grace when you wake up at thesame time remember to keep that walk with Christ and your garment not soiled.

Many may wonder so what soils the garment, nothing but sin, sin is sin it has no grade or hierarchy. Whatever is in contrary to the perfection of Christ in you is sin.

This message isn't to to scare anyone but to enlighten us and keep our eyes and focus more on Christ, the finished work of Christ on Calvary, the heart beat of God(Evangelism) and the truth about heaven.

My prayer is we will harken to the spirit of God and recognise that there is an end to this world and we will acknowledge God more than we have done in all our years.

I pray for as many fighting and struggling to understand their stand in Christ today you will have an encounter that will enable you change your ways

I pray for the world at large that the recent happenings worldwide will draw us closer to God

I pray that we will not be unprepared to reign with Him when the end comes in Jesus name

Settled in the Spirit

Text: Ezekiel 37:10-14

So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God : “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord , when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord , have spoken it and performed it, ” says the Lord .’ ”

Ezekiel 37:10‭-‬14 NKJV

Glory be to God for another beautiful day to share the word, it's not taken for granted. Whom He called He has chosen that is what the word of God says and I give thanks to Him for calling us all into salvation and choosing us individually. I pray that His word will be receptive in our hearts beyond our imagination in Jesus name

We most likely must have heard about the saying spiritual controls the physical, many might wonder what does it mean, while some think How possible is that and some might have full understanding through the help and direction of the Holy Spirit.

The Topic says settled in the spirit. The spirit or spiritual realm is something you cannot see physically except God give you supernatural sight. I remember a myth not sure if it is or not but apparently if you take the gunk out of the eye of a dog and put it in your eyes you will begin to see strange things. Apparently dogs can see into the spiritual world and that is why they bark sporadically when they see things that ain't right. Anyway I am not advising you test it to know if it's true or false.

I do not intend to digress further, when something is said to be settled, it means finish, to return back to owner or give what is overdue.

So when something or someon is settled in the spirit, they do not have a settled confirmation of the situation or things in the spirit alone but also physically.

Going into the anchor scripture, Ezekiel 37:10-14, God told Ezekiel what the dry bones represent physically.

Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel.They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 

It is obvious here that the children of Israel was speaking physically but in the spirit realm not only was their bone dry but they were in the grave.

Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God : “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord , when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord , have spoken it and performed it, ” says the Lord .’

You might wonder how did the children of Israel know what was happening like I mentioned earlier the spiritual controls the physical. The bones were dry forgotten and heap of rubbish left to decay further, but they weren't just bones of the lost and gone they were of people still living and not only was it spiritually dry their physical life was manifesting the effect of the spiritual.

But when they cried unto the Lord, He revealed further that He will bring them out of the grave and release His spirit upon them.

There is an impact that must come from the spiritual realm in order to receive a physical settlement. Many have dwelt so much in same state because spiritually they are tied to a spot. They occasionally have revelation of thesame place which they are unsure how they got there but today God is saying to you, I will settle you spiritually, not only that physically you will attest to the manifestation.

Many get visits in their sleep and the visit are never pleasant, either get beatings or get some unpleasant treatment they wake up and call a bluff of it because they have no understanding but today marks the end of such thing.

Do you know because the enemy of your souls knows well how powerful your tongue can be to rebuke things you are not meant to go through, when you go through such spiritual situation there is always a form of doubt that it's not true but I want to encourage you henceforth take your life important when such thing happen rise up and decree your freedom from such physically or spiritually in Jesus name

Many are fast into debt, because spiritually they are saving in a basket filled with holes, they notice physically their finance is having a downturn, it's high time you claim what is yours back and seal off every basket of waste and devourer over your finance in Jesus name

Never allow anyone to speak into your destiny spiritually and wake up seeing as a joke, you are empowered to overcome either physically or spiritually.

God has given and released His spirit upon you, guess what!😄 not only can you fight it off spiritually but you are a winner. So learn to use the name of Jesus in every realm of your life. Don't just call Jesus to exclaim at remarks but use His name for the right purpose.

You might be wondering but I have been in Christ for so long and I still have this inclination or feelings of some spiritual battles that needs to be settled, remember when Jacob wrestled with God in Genesis 33:22-31 it was a battle but Jacob had been a supplanter all his life but he insisted he wasn't letting go of the angel/God until He bless him. In verse 28 His encounter happened his name was changed from Jacob to Israel a battle was won spiritually. The encounter birth the word Peniel which means he saw God face to face and his life was spared.

You can settle that battle spiritually if your are persistent, persevere and preserve your faith. Don't give up because it seem like it's not budging. God is changing that situation around. You know when Jacob changed to Israel the significant changes in His life began. 

It is your season now because you are settling it all spiritually and it's manifesting physically in Jesus name.

Peradventure you are yet to have that closeness or relationship with Christ all this will probably be strange and make no sense to you but it can if you can say the few prayer accepting Christ as your lord and saviour.

Lord Jesus I come to you just as I am and I release myself to you renouncing all sin and sinful way. I welcome you as my lord and saviour today and always in Jesus name.

Welcome to the kingdom of the chosen ones.

Let Us Pray

Lord thank you for the word today and the divine impact upon my life

Heavenly father here I am forgive me in anyway sin is dwelling upon me

Father henceforth in your name I overcome every spiritual battles locking my life down 

I decree freedom from every spiritual attachment that I have voluntarily or involuntarily walked into in Jesus name

I break every unwanted baggage of limitation set into my life spiritually

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

The topic says *_Look Ahead, Move Ahead._*

What do you understand by the expression 'Look ahead, Move ahead'?

*Sis Queeneth:* When there's a movement forward. Seeing beyond the present.

*@Yetty:* Move ahead is to advance to a position.

When you say you are looking ahead..

It's a phrasal verb to anticipate on what will happen in the future..

When you move ahead it means change to higher or advance in position.

Taking the word in Philippians 3:13.

Looking at it from another context.....

Apostle Paul was talking here and he said..

I count not myself to have apprehended...

*_I am not saying I have arrived in a lame man's term. But this one thing I do..._*

Forgetting those things which are behind...

*_I am not getting stuck to my rear view again. _*

And reaching forth unto those things which are before.

*_I am reaching for a future goal._*

Apostle Paul before His encounter on his way to Damascus was a Christian persecutor. In fact he led the stoning of Stephen..

He killed Christians, those who believed in Christ. In his own little and blurred knowledge he was getting rid of the bad eggs, the people that were not meant to be there.

The stains to the value of the kingdom, they didn't deserve to live again.

But once he got saved... He chose not to get stuck to his rear view rather he wanted to constantly focus on what awaited him in this new life he had found.

Many might be thinking *but  I am not Apostle Paul.*

Yes I know but tonight I want the Holy spirit to minister to your inner man.

Say to yourself...

*it's high time I left the rear view and stay focused on what is to come.*

It's a new year, glory be to God...

But, guess what? You know that time is forward moving and never backward moving.

The tomorrow you anticipated to see yesterday is now today and the today you procrastinated on is now yesterday.

When they say time waits for no man it's not just a saying it's a reality.

The things you procrastinated on yesterday will be left undone by tomorrow if today you have no active plan to do anything about them.

In life you cannot achieve or be what God wants you to be if what happened in the past is always on your table daily and all you do is dissect it and keep nurturing it until it's become part of the stagnant water laying in the canal of your mind.

Life is not about staying put but experiencing change each and everyday.

Many have so much aspirations

Dreams

Goals

Desires

But because you failed on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or whatever attempt doesn't necessarily mean you settle as a failure.

I read the verse above in The Message Translation and honestly except a person's mind is delusional or no longer processing information that is when the person won't understand what this verse means..

Looking deep into it and meditating on it the Holy Spirit will obviously enlighten you on what it means.

You lazy fool, look at an ant. Watch it closely; let it teach you a thing or two. Nobody has to tell it what to do. All summer it stores up food; at harvest it stockpiles provisions. So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing? How long before you get out of bed? A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next? Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life, poverty your permanent houseguest!

Proverbs 6:6‭-‬11 MSG

Imagine someone who keeps asking others for help seeking people to raise him/her up but such person just goes back to their bed, sleep and snooze on whatever promises people give to them but the person never for once attempts to do anything for themselves.

Do you think suddenly that person will experience a shift when all they do is just wait when they aren't incapacitated?

Beloved God has given you some great dreams that only you can make it come true.

God has given you a unique idea that only you can birth successfully.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord , which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Many despise the days of little beginning even before they start anything in life.

Many are stuck in life's journey because they fail to look or see or move beyond the past.

Do you know, if Apostle Paul was constantly beating himself up as a persecutor and not a redeemed being he would never have achieved or fulfilled purpose?

Ask yourself: What is stopping me from moving on?

What is delaying me from looking ahead?

At times some of us make our dream so minute yet we glorify our challenges.

We exalt the difficulties so much so even when solution lies ahead of us we are so skeptical to take it on board.

I was listening to some messages recently.

And the preacher said: After slavery was abolished in America many of the slaves who were born in slavery who had now become generational slaves.

Even when they were told that they were free men or women or children or family, they refused to leave to places where they could use their freedom positively and live a life filled with purpose.

Do you know you can be delivered and yet still live in bondage because the mindset that was in you before deliverance has not changed and until it's changed you cannot live in freedom that the deliverance brought to you?

 I hope this message is getting your fire of achievement and purpose to be ignited.

Don't be limited by what surrounds you.

That same place where you claim and many claim it's not possible there lies lots of possibilities.

But you must start from somewhere. 

You need to look ahead.

You need to move ahead.

Faith is active.

Faith is now.

Faith is a verb that is always present and it's useful if all you do is talk faith but never act faith

Start from somewhere.

If I had this I will be much better.

Maybe if I get this things will be better. 

What about that which you have at present? What is your plan in advancing it?

Many want to call mountains down to fall but they never want to step higher to another level in their relationship with God.

I hope you will be inspired to stop dwelling in the place of regret.

Stop dwelling and waiting on empty promises.

Stop calling God to move when all you do is snooze.

You need to change that mindset to have a set achievement this year.

You need to stop allowing that past hurt to stop you from moving on.

The fact that someone let you down in a business doesn't mean you give up on having any business dealing.

You take active steps of faith as God directs you.

Don't be like the slave that stayed put in slavery even when the freedom bell rung.

May the Lord Almighty help us all to see beyond our natural eyes and sense in Jesus name.

I pray that as many stuck in the dust and flames of the past, as the Lord sets you free today may you be free indeed as you embrace total and divine freedom in Jesus name.

I pray for as many who have found it difficult to actually live on, today the Burden Bearer will relieve you of all burdens and set you free in Jesus name.

I pray that every heart filled with heaviness today receive ease in Jesus name.

 I pray that person who is being limited by past mistake as you choose to let go and forgive, may the Lord order your steps right.

I pray for many who have chased same goal year in and year out and are about to throw in the towel receive grace to excel and succeed in Jesus name.

I pray that henceforth procrastination, discouragement and failure will be things of the past in our lives in Jesus name.

As you chose to look ahead to God and move as He orders your steps you will never be disappointed in Jesus mighty name.

May the Lord wipe those years away in Jesus mighty name.

And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!” So He said to him, “What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.” And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.” And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there. So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Just as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped on his hip.

The topic is Peniel limb... The word Peniel means the face of God..

From the scripture this is an encounter Jacob had with God...

Jacob was planning to return to his home town with his family. He was alone when he wrestled a man figure which he later realised was God.

Toward the end of the whole wrestling with the angel, Jacob was so adamant that he wouldn't leave the angel until he blessed him..

Then his hip bone was touched, dislocated in a way that he ended up in a limb...

But this whole wrestling did cause a turn around for Jacob. His name meant supplanter, a deceiver, and his life leading to that very moment showed a lot of deceit - either that which he did to people or the other way round.

Finally Jacob got his wish - his name was changed form Jacob to Israel and he was blessed ...

We understand in the account of the old testament that no one sees God face to face and survive but Jacob did.

At times in life we are like Jacob... In fact many of us are seeking for a change but instead of being persistent on that change happening we are ready to give up.

I always try to remind myself and anyone that cares to listen that God alone is the one that controls time and season; no one does - not the calender in your house or on your phone, but it doesn't depict the fact that the world physically operates by this visible calendar but it is spiritually controlled.

Many are asking God for a change but not ready to drop what they do not need to carry over.

It could be anything from works of flesh to God-knows-what.

Many of us have fasted and prayed but we are not ready to get rid of certain things.

Jacob got rid of that name and ended up with a limb. He walked with a limb in a new name into divine blessings.

Are you still holding on to things you ought to let go off?

It could be as simple as unforgiveness...

Lack of faith in God...

Lack of faith in yourself...

Lack of channelling the authority of God's word into every aspect of your life...

Jacob from the beginning of his life wanted the best.

From getting his brother's birthright with pottage meal, to faking the fur on his skin to get their father's blessings.

But the life was just for a time.

He lacked the peace he ought to have because there were things hanging unto his life that actually limited him so much.

But guess what..?

He got married.

Had children.

Built his own little empire and flourished even in that state of deceit.

But he lacked peace until he had that wrestling and encounter that did not just change his name but his appearance and his journey.

I know the year is coming to an end and so many of us or some of us, so to say, are on that verge of carrying over something that we just have to wrestle out.

Many are so concerned about what their appearance to man will birth forgetting that their appearance before God is most important. 

My question is: On top of those desires, are you willing to have a Peniel experience?

Are you willing to walk with that limb?

At times God will ask you to take a particular direction, it might not seem right but you just have to take that route to actually have that change you desire.

The Peniel limb was an evidence of the encounter Jacob had.

That Peniel limb caused a lot of changes in his life.

He went on to meet up with his brother whom he had hurt and God favoured him.

I do not know if you are ready to embrace that new facet God wants you to travel.

I do not know if you are ready to carry that cross now.

But all I know is God is saying to you: it's high time you embraced the change.

It's high time you never allow your past to sit and take a foothold on the direction of your present and future.

The process of going through Peniel limb might not seem pleasant but His will is always better than any desire.

Are you ready to have an encounter with God?

Do not give up...

Do not get tired...

Do not relent in your prayers...

Do not stop taking steps of faith...

Do not stop investing in right things...

Do not stop seeking God over everything...

Yes, even when people say you are nuts to be expecting God to work in your life.

The spiritual things are follishness to an ordinary mind.

Embrace the Peniel limb.

Let us pray.

Lord, we thank you for your word and grace to be used and spoken to this evening.

Father, thank you for the understanding your word gives to each and everyone of us.

Lord, forgive us in any way we have carried on so long what we ought to have dropped.

Father, help me to focus on you and never let you go until my encounter births manifestation of your glory in my life.

Lord eternal, this evening give me my own Peniel encounter.

Whatever needs to be spiritually settled in my life for my physical uplifting, I decree henceforth it's settled in Jesus name.

I refuse to carry over anything that will cause my life a slow movement where God has given me speed in Jesus name.

I pray that God will speak to us this evening in Jesus name.

From the scripture above we see what Jesus said in the parable of the shepherd who had 100 sheep and one went missing...

We were told that this shepherd did not just ignore the lost sheep instead he went right after the sheep to bring the sheep back to the fold

I will be taking a different dimension from what we most probably have heard about this scripture

And that is looking at the aspect of believers who are *"churched out"*

This is when someone feels like they have had enough of the church or fellowship or the place of worship whatever that makes the gather with others to worship God

This could come as a result of different things ...

Often times it could be as a result of offence

At times it could be as a result of the leading of the Holy spirit

But I want to look more into offence.

Let us name that missing sheep 🐑 *Sam*

So Sam was in the gathering of his fellow brethren and for reason known to Sam He probably wondered off or even felt like not coming back

 In this century and day and age we are we often label people who leave the *"church"* as rebel

But in most cases some are either battling with many things that they cannot even explain

But guess what in the situation of Sam the sheep 🐑 his shepherd went after him.

He was not tagged as a rebel or an unbeliever

The texted shared actually centers on unbelievers and the kind of live He is explaining that the shepherd showed to the sheep

He went after that one...

This is something we need to actually work on as believers

Ask yourself *would I go after that one??*

I want us to have a personal checks as believers and it would most likely be better if we make a conscious effort to do it regularly.

We are easy to condemn and judge fellow believer as much as we condemn unbelievers

The truths is Jesus loves everyone just as He loves you

There is no one that is beyond the love of God as a result of their sin

I want to address everyone of us

If you come across anyone that leaves the church rather than be among the party to condemn them pray for them

Jesus went after that one remember

It is very important that you feel the love of Christ towards the brethren as well

Majority have actually renounce their faith because the church which is meant to go after them instead pushed them out.

In the case of the woman who was caught in the act of fornication when they wanted to stone her to death

Jesus said the one without sin should cast the first stone

He could have said yes her life matters less because the crowd outnumbered her but instead He stood by her

Brethren are you standing by that brother who fell or might feel churched out.

Are you standing by that family who have fallen deep into the pit of immorality or you are just casting more stone on their sinful nature

By gladly showing off you *holier than thou* mode

What are you doing pastor that member decided to leave but because the tithe ain't going to your church purse anymore they become irrelevant

Sister yes you do not agree with what they are saying in church right now you feel overwhelmed the voice are getting to you negatively but right now Jesus is coming after you

He went after that one

You are that one

I am that one

Did the word of God say there won't be offence no

The word says woe to the one through whom offence comes

 there will be such days

There will be such times

There will be such congregation

There will be such congregants who feel like I can't take this anymore

As believer should you give up on them

He is speaking to you now He loves you regardless of whatever has been said

He loves that one as much as He loves the 99

You cannot give up on that one

[Hang on a minute do you know you can fall into the category of that one He went after

A saying goes does...

*Those who live in a glass house do not throw stones*

As a true believer do not cast the stone of hatred

Do not cast the stone of segregation especially in the body of Christ

The fact that that person left that ministry doesn't mean it is the end for them

Jesus will never leave that one He will go after that one

What will you Do

What will Jesus do

We need to get to the level where we do not just see ourselves or people who feel churched out as the rejected

Because they left the ministry doesn't mean your man of God or your pastor or your G.O or your Reverend or your priest gas the final say over them

Jesus went after that one

I went to a ministers feast some months ago and one of the speaker spoke on how pastor's or church leader scare member from leaving the church

They go even into the extent of placing altar curse on their member just because they leave

A sister I met there said she has been a victim of such before

The pastor told her of she left the church she will never prosper and some other thing

Whatever church or pastor or group leader that place a curse on someone who feel like leaving or leaves is a cult leader

The church is a family

It is not limited by the walls or name of ministry

Until you understand that you will never emulate Christ or the shepherd in that parable who went after that one

 *Nish* : Religion and church are really causing a lot of good than damage in our society now 

Being a Christian doesn’t just mean by saying it .It has to reflect  in all aspects of our love

Let’s learn to chastise in love ,correct in love and never ever let go.

A church or the Christian body should be a place of shield not a place of condemnation

 *Nish* : Devil always try never to let go even when we become Christians and get into light so why do church and we that we have seen the light let go of ours often times just because they sinned or made a mistake.

Today Brothers and Sisters I want to admonish us to do just as Jesus will do...

Go after that one

If you can physically great

If you can prayer fully great

Which ever way you can never condemn

Never neglect

Do not be carried away and be like those who throw the stones without thinking of their own sin

That of the plank in your eyes before going for the speck of wood in someone else's eye

I pray the Holy spirit will minister to us all in Jesus name

I ask for as many who are feeling churched out now that you be healed

I ask that the comforter will uplift as many who feels condemned right from the altar in Jesus name

I pray for many families struggling with how they have been dealt with blow of condemnation from where they ought to get releif and shield may God visit you in Jesus name.

I pray for ministers that feel pressured, feel left out, feel betrayed by members or any form that God will enlighten them to see the ministry as the work of God henceforth in Jesus name

I pray for each of us in anyway we have contributed into people's hurt in the body of Christ that mercy will locate us instead of judgement.

I ask for live of God to radiate in the body of Christ worldwide in Jesus name

Lord thank you for this evening and privilege to share and receive your word. We pray Jesus that you give us heart just like the shepherd. So we will go after that one person. Lord either they are already in faith according to your will in Jesus mighty name

Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.

What do we understand by *Perspective?*

When we say something is God's perspective it means seeing it from God's point of view or through God's attitude.

Going to the Bible Text, 2 Corinthians 3:16-18.

The word of God says once the veil was removed from Moses then they recognised that God is a living personal presence not a piece of chiseled stone.

The Bible further said when God is present a living spirit is there getting rid of the old constricting legislation rendering them useless.

Then we are free of it, all of it.

There is nothing between us and God..

Because our face is shining with the brightness of His face.

We are transfigured  like *Messiahs.* 

*Our lives gradually become more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like Him.*

Hallelujah!

I have shared 3 different versions of the chosen text...

To actually see from God's view point His spirit must be present in us.

You cannot see from His perspective if you do not identify with Him or has His spirit inside of you.

By the time Moses got the veil removed from His face He did not just carry the physique of the Moses that went up to commune with God He had an extraordinary appearance upon Him.

In life a believer must learn to see his or her life from the perspective of God almighty.

Do you know when you see your life from God's point of view you will not just be moved by every and anything that comes as challenge in your life because you know you are already a winner even before the battle started?

Someone might be saying, but how can I see like that?

I was privileged to meet someone today and we got talking.

And this person said my testimony is all I ask God grace to share with others so they will never give up. 

I used to smoke and drink and all but I decided to stop.

Then this person got stroke.. but the person used to read a lot of Kenneth Haggin's books.

And read one where Kenneth was told by doctors that he would never walk again after a sickness but God defied all odds and reports of doctors and he walked after being written off.

This person suffered stroke and could hardly use the hands or any part of their body.

And doctors told this person on discharge from hospital you will need to live in a care setting for the rest of your life.

You cannot be independent ever again.

This person said their response to the doctors was: can you pass me my books? referring to the Kenneth Haggin's book they were reading and just kept reading.

This person refused to accept what was said.

This person got discharged from hospital into a care setting.

This person said each day they declared and confessed the word of God against all odds.

Months later this person became independent using all limbs normally. Let me even amaze you this person drives a car daily now. 

Why did I share this? Except you understand the Spirit of the one you carry inside of you, you are most likely not to see your life from God's perspective.

But you cannot claim to know God truly or understand Him well enough if you fail to see in His perspective.

You cannot appreciate that spirit He has deposited in you if you fail to see from His perspective.

Many of us have had one challenge or the other in life that God gave us victory from the beginning.

But we never even identified the victory until the  challenge was over.

Do you know why the enemy is very good in placing before you what is not as if it is?

Do you know how he does that?

Through fear.

Fear can make you accept what you ought to reject.

Fear can make you live below the level you are meant to.

Fear can make you succumb into a level you are meant to be king over. 

I hope this is making sense.

But if you actually function in the perspective of God, the only fear that will be allowed in your life is the fear of God. 

The only fear that will make sense to you is the fear of the One who can kill body and soul and quench the spirit.

The only fear that will dominate your life is that of the King of kings. 

This evening I want you to kindly look at your life. What are those things that you have refused to see from God's perspective?

Many of us are so stuck by our own intuition.

Even when God is saying otherwise you just will not get it.

This day God is saying: Look at it from my point of view.

You know that if the people of Israel had seen from the perspective of God through Moses many of them including Moses would have made the promised land rather than perish in the wilderness.

Can you begin to see your life from the perspective of God?

When you see from God's perspective you do not present yourself like a slave but a child.

You do not see that sickle cell but you see the blood of Jesus.

You do not look at that diabetes as a slow down but you begin to live in divine health.

You live your life trusting the One who made you in your mother's womb and knows the number of your days.

When you see from God's perspective that business might seem dead but you call life into it.

From His perspective your age isn't the limit to your destiny fulfillment because He controls times and season.

I hope someone is grasping what God is telling them today.

You need to stop limiting God.

Stop using the distorted eye lens of man to judge the clear vision of God.

Arise now and dust yourself from that self pity.

Yes, they might have called it an impossible cause but, boy! you are going to show people that it is a possible cause.

From His perspective nothing is impossible.

From His perspective there is no weariness...

No loss...

No shame...

No delay because you have an appointed time.

Today learn to live and see your life from God's perspective.

Once again kick out self pity.

He didn't create you to worry but to worship.

Lord I thank you for your word which you have sent to me this day.

Father thank you for uplifting me from the level of distorted vision to clarity.

Father forgive me in any way I have relied so much on my perspective.

Lord henceforth let me always view life in your perspective in Jesus name.

Lord have your way in my life and all my endeavours; make that which has been impossible possible.

Wow, now this is no easy topic
another look of the topic is.......
the benefit of tough times or hard times or difficult times
it is sometimes, infact I will say it is difficult MOST OF THE TIMES, to ackonowledge this simple truth
tough times are coming
whether you and i like it or not, whether you and i believe for it or not... the fact of the matter is... tough times are coming
a saying goes saying....

When the Going Gets Tough...... Only The Tough Get Going
I remember as a youg child, i would just say this anyhow, not thinking what it meant but this is totally in line with God's word
the passage today can be paraphrased saying.... if you falter or fall or give up in tough times, then your strength is small... or then your strenngth is not as big as you had thought

as a parent (as humans) we dream and pray that our hildren will go beyond where will stop, infact we pray that at least they would do as much as we do here on earth
do you think God, Abba Father is different in any way????
NO HE IS NOT
tough times are a measure of your strength

hard times will tell you how tough u actually are
how similar you already are with your father......
if you falter in the day of adversity your strength is small
let us look at the eagle and eaglets for a bit

who here can say he or she hates eagles?????

i am totally convinced that we all love eagles and that is prmarily because of how they look but also because of how far up in the air, they fly
do you know how mother eagle teaches eaglets to fly/??????
not by teaching them in the nest that ok, this thing on your chest are wings which you have to flap so and so to fly and glide in the air... NO

mother eagle one day just comes home to the nest to the hungry and eager eaglets and she pushes them off the HIGH nest off into thee vast emptiness and expecst them to realize they have wings, open them and fly

God calls you His beloved, the one that he LOVES and tells you what He wants
He wants that you and I grow
just like mother eagle
she wants her eaglets to realize that the things on their chests are not there for show
those things or appendages, are wings and they have to use them to fly and be able to reach to the top. 

God wants you to open up you wings of FAITH and fly to the top
why faith?
because You must believe in God and above all believe in God's love for you
We know who we are through tough time

the eaglet does not know that but must believe in mother eagle's love for it and realize that this pushing away is to teach it something, upon realizing that and opening its wings.... it will fly far and reach heights it had never dreamed of

‬but for the eaglet to do that, it had to be pushed off
it had to go through hard times
you and I must go through hard times
I am not saying all hard times are like this
but for sure some are
dear brother and sister, no test, no testimony
no battle no victory
can you imagine ho the eaglets feels for the first time flying?

it is EXHILARATING!!!!!!!

but it had to go off the tough end
TRUST IN MOTHER EAGLE
OPEN ITS WINGS
and GLIDE in the air
that is what God expects from you and I

'Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. '

What He tells you to do, just do....
does it fell like falling off a cliff?
that is why He gave you faith

but to use those wings of faith, you will need to trust in Him as it feels as if you have fallen off into a void

Then their eyes were [suddenly] opened [by God] and they [clearly] recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and opening the Scriptures to us?” They got up that very hour and went back to Jerusalem, and found the eleven [apostles] gathered together and those who were with them, saying, “The Lord has really risen and has appeared to Simon [Peter]!” They began describing in detail what had happened on the road, and how Jesus was recognized by them when He broke the bread.

This evening I will exhort us on the topic in brokenness
Brokenness is a state where things are forcebly apart.

From above scripture we read about two people on a journey and they were discussing about the recent happening or what had recently happend which was the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ
As they were going Jesus joined them and he asked them what they were discussing... They both looked at Him in amazement like where have you been🤨

In fact cleopas asked if He was a stranger in the land and not aware that Jesus of Nazareth who was prophet powerful in deed and word in sight of God and  and all people was sentenced to death
From the way he spoke you could feel the extent of their heart break he went further to talk about how the women got to His tomb and was told He was not there that He was alive.

From verse 29 Jesus did as if he was going to different part of the vicinity but they asked Him to come and  join them . When they sat at the table  He took the bread and broke it and gave then it was until then that their eyes opened God allowed them to see who was right there with them and they recognised that all the while It was Jesus conversing with them
He then vanished after they had recognised Him and they said to one another did how their heart was burning within them as He spoke to them and how He read the scriptures to them.

They got up that moment to meet with other apostles to confirm that indeed He had risen and gave their testimony in details how He came to them and what happened afterwards
Brokenness is a state of separation... In our state of separation in life God steps in when we are ready to listen to Him
If you read into the deep meaning of how broken hearted this fellow were they yearn to find meaning to the situation that just happened.

Imagine hearing that someone who had been doing good healing the sick, saving people and doing all kinds of great things was killed just like that
No matter how hard hearted the person is something will still be broken inside of you
Today many of us are in the state of brokenness
But you need to understand as Christian that in our brokenness is when God works most
The clarity of what they heard from Jesus in that state of brokenness made sense to them once God revealed to them who was speaking to them
But many are times we do not want to be in that state of brokenness.

We are so unsure how we can cope that we just pray it away
You cannot be running away from getting alone with God and want more of God
You cannot be so stuck in business that is unprofitable and yet want God to move inside of you
In our Brokenness God works wonders
In our brokenness we hear him clearly.

In the Bible we read of Hezekiah in Isaiah 38:1 and how he was told by the prophet that He needs to put His house in order
But in his brokenness he cried to God who turned around his situation
Many times we are so carried away thinking God need us more than we need Him
Do you know that the process of greatness includes times of brokenness
There is no one who is successful or has been able to attain things in life that has or will say they never reached that point where it felt like failure is the order of the day.

Many of us God will only get our attention in our brokenness because we are either too busy or we are not just keen on hearing Him
God can use any situation to assess how much we want Him in our lives
In the life of King David ..
Things were going right for Him the young boy who was chosen among the children of Jesse
Who later killed Goliath and eventually became the king even after surviving the wrath of Saul but
One day He stayed where he was meant not to be...
He was idle when he ought to be busy and his eyes saw Bathsheba that eventually led to him commuting adultery and eventually murder
David thought all was okay until
Nathan came to tell Him what God thinks about his act.

And guess what the brokenness of David didn't come until the child was on sick bed
No wonder in Psalms 51 he express how He felt asking God to wash him with hyssop
To create a clean heart in Him
Many of us are riding on horses that are rather too fast for God to meet us in our need.

We forget that we can never out pace God
It doesn't matter what stage you are in life when it is time for God to meet you you can not escape your own brokenness
It doesn't necessarily have to come in you repenting from a committed sin
It doesn't have to come to you on your horse back flying rather than riding
But it comes to you at that point when you know assuredly that your only way out is God and God alone
God meets us in our brokenness
He hears us out if we are ready to allow Him in.

Did you notice that when Jesus joined cleopas and the other guy He didn't go to them and say I am Jesus you need to hear this and that no...
He listened to them
He knew how broken hearted He was to them
And He use the scripture to sooth them
He even followed them to sup with them
But remember they invited Him in
God will not force himself on us
He will not force His will on us.

Without Him we are nothing but with Him we are something
He is the only self sufficient King
He is the only one who sees how shattered your emotions are
He is the only one who can read meaning to those sighs that you make unending
HE sees beyond your smile
He knows beyond that tears
That is why He works better in us in our brokenness
Things you have planned out might seem like it's not working as planned
It may seem like man are being deliberately evil to you
It may seem that yours is just getting difficult
Jesus is saying let me in.

As He said to those men what are you discussing,
He wants to work through that brokenness in you
You might think we'll I have carried this brokenness all my life
Never had that adult figure to guide me
I am on orphan
I never have that opportunity others have
But He is saying I have always been there
You might think we'll I have been searching since.

But He is telling you search no further I am already here with you
Just let me in
Set your guards down
Let those ideas run through me
Let me lead in your project
But you know at times our brokenness can be masked by fake braveness but guess what He sees past all that
So today are you willing to let Him in
Let Him I to that situation now
You have tried
You are tired
You just know that it ain't working
But it ain't over until He says it's over
He works in you still.

Remember by the time the child died David instead of mourning changed His sack clothe because God met Him in His brokenness
You may say but I didn't kill like David
You do not have to experience brokenness as a result of sin.

It can comes as parts of the tides of life
When you feel the going is getting tough
Much is expected of you because to man much is already given to you but you know deep down that you just need God
This moment  I want us to ask Him to come into our hearts
I want us to call on God to step into that broken situation
That stage that is making you feel all dry and wasted
That things that has sapped all your strength out.

Say Lord I need you... Right now I need you come in and have your way in me
Say lord I have tried my strength is failing as human but I believe your strength is made perfect in my weakness fill me with your strength in Jesus name
Say lord is it sin that I need to get out off that is still hanging you wash me with your blood already on Calvary but help me to live above sin and the repercussions in my life henceforth in Jesus name.

You know that which you want God to intervene in so this moment  pray in the Holy ghost or in your understanding over that situation now ask God to give you victory in Jesus name.

[6] Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

I'll be charging us with the Word of God we are all familiar with and we say always.
I know we all say this verse sometimes 3 or more times a day.
Let's start with the very first word: *SURELY.*
Which means 》》

Without fail.

Certainly, undoubtedly.

With confidence.

Physically secure and certain, non-failing, reliable.
When we say surely, that settles it!
That assurance is from someone that can never fail.
The confidence in saying those words has a seal that shouldn't be doubted.
As a believer when you're sure of something, it's backed up.

Let's have a look at it this way:
Surely after Monday comes a Tuesday.
Surely when you buy a ball for a boy he must kick it whether he can play or not.
Surely when it's 9pm its night.
Surely is a seal for a believer we need to exercise in Christ Jesus.
The Name of Jesus is a seal that's sure and bankable.
The reliable is sure and that's our Lord Jesus Christ.
If we have Jesus surely goodness and mercy follow us everywhere.
If we have Jesus every situation should bow because they have expiry date.
The expiration is the surely I'll overcome you.
No matter the situation we are, Surely we will overcome because Christ promised us and once God said it, that settles it.
Weeping may endure for a night surely Joy comes in the morning because Jesus sealed the joy.
Waiting in the place of prayer or waiting for a breakthrough may seem longer but there's a seal of surely you'll sing a new song.
Surely your health challenge is receiving wholeness.
Your marital woes is  turning to bliss.
Your marital breakthrough is happening.
Your career is taking upward turn.
Surely your debt is being paid.
Surely that appointment is in your favour.
Surely that relocating is to your land of favour.
Surely your womb is carrying  your baby.
Surely your fears are disappearing.

*Sis Florence:* Surely there is an end to every situation.

*Sis Queeneth:* Surely that sickness isn't taking your life because you're fulfilling purpose.
Surely your ministry is receiving fruitfulness.
Surely you're getting that grade for your supernatural promotion in your academics.
Surely that idea that will change your life is beginning to drop.
Surely your mind is beginning to work in the way God fashioned it.
If only you have confidence and seal it with Christ! That once He has said it that has sealed it!

*Sis Florence:* Surely He has taken away our sorrows.

*Sis Queeneth:* I don't know the area you are casting your own surely but are you sure of your surely?
It is written: Surely goodness and mercy  shall follow me, not *I'll follow goodness and mercy.*
Why is that?
Because you carry the greater One in you so you command goodness and mercy to follow you.
Stop telling God how big your problem is, start telling your problem how big your God is.
When you carry the greater One in you everything must obey you because the authority and the sealing is in your confession.
I want you to note every word and read it intentionally.
The NLT says *Pursue me, not me pursuing.*
All the days.....Hallelujah!
What a good God we have that has settled us forever.

What do we need to do?
Stay in His presence to receive fresh Seal.

I just want to admonish us when next you're reading that remember it's a confession and do it deliberately.
The key to that seal is being in Christ Jesus always.
I pray that we will always remember who we are in Christ Jesus always In Jesus Name.

Let's begin to thank God for the Word.
Let's ask for mercy in any way we have broken the edge or missed it in Christ Jesus.

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Today we will have exhortation on Power in waiting..  I ask that God will speak to us all and we will be enlightened and empowered in Jesus mighty name.

Power in waiting means ability to be in a position for a delayed action meant for a specific time.
To have power in waiting you need to come to the end of your physical power and totally depend on His supernatural power so you can actually have what He purposed for you after your wait or during your wait.
Reading from the scripture I have shared two different versions for better reference and simple understanding.
The verse started with a question... Have you not known?, or don't you know? .. haven't you heard that the everlasting God the , the creator of the ends of the earth doesn't faint neither does He grow weary..?
Hmm, God doesn't faint.. physically what can make a man faint is lack of physical strength, it could be low blood pressure or blood sugar or other co-morbidities.
But the Word is letting us understand that God isn't like man... He has none of those attributes of tiredness or giving up... He is supernaturally built, nothing can make Him fall or faint or get tired.
Do you know that applies to when God is waiting on us and many of His children who are yet to be saved, He never gets tired of us.

He didn't create human race then realise what capacity we have, you know He gave us the power we all have inside of us.

Further on, the Word says there is no searching of His understanding, that is no one on earth can measure the depth of His understanding....
This amazing God gives power to the  weak and strength to the powerless...

I like the next lines...

*Even youths will become weak and tired and young men will fall in exhaustion...*

When we hear the word youth we think of people who are agile, people who can do more things..

You think of hyper energy, hyper ability... But in comparison to the Creator of all things the power of the youth will be exhausted.. they cannot out match the power of God eternal.
Then the word says...

But they (put your name)....
But I (Leah Adepeju) that wait upon the Lord will find new strength... I will soar high on wings like eagles. I will run and not be weary and I will walk and not faint..
You know what? Because I wait on God, because you wait on God, because we wait on God, our strength will be renewed beyond our physical means or capability.

Earlier on I defined what power in waiting means.. to be the ability to be in position for specific period of time for for a delayed action...
When people wait on God it is more than a physical experience; it is more of a spiritual experience.
The time of waiting on God is the time to be spiritually empowered.
You know that the spiritual controls the physical.
The time to wait on God is the time to buckle up your breast plate of righteousness.
The power in waiting isn't the power of an ordinary man.
You cannot appropriate the way of waiting with the power of man for a spiritual life of waiting.
When you want to use a physical power to wait for a spiritual thing, you will get weary just like the youth and faint in exhaustion.
But often times, what happens to we human beings is, we will say:
I am waiting on God either in fasting or other thing, but guess what...? Indeed we are waiting but our gaze is shifted.
So we are like this emoji🧐🤪 one eye skewed up and one is bright... We are easily distracted either because same thing we claim to be waiting on God for isn't coming, yet we see some other thing to distract us from what is real.
You cannot wait on God in your natural power, you will faint face down.
When Jacob had that Peniel encounter and He was saying to the angel 'you aren't going anywhere until you bless me, the strength Jacob was using wasn't a natural man's strength.
If it was, by the time the socket of his hip was touched he would have become crippled.
But guess what? his hip socket was touched and Jacob stood up as Israel limping with new strength🚶🏽
My man was limping because the hole in his hip socket was no longer what his physical strength can carry but what his spiritual strength has been empowered to live on.
Jacob was ready to show off: I am no longer a supplanter... I have been changed, my Peniel encounter changed me to Israel.
His power was made perfect in my weakness.
I am no longer slave in the place of waiting.
I am spiritually empowered.
My life isn't the same again.

Many of us have read, seen or heard this saying: If you are waiting on the Lord, do what waiters do - serve.
But I say if you are going to serve do it in His strength not your strength.
You cannot go to a restaurant and have a waiter picking his or her nail and asking you how can I help...? Or looking like they have been bitten up..
You will probably be put off by their approach.
But when you see a waiter knocking on the 13th hour of their shift yet with a smile😄 telling you what the menu is and what people go for.. complimenting your patronage, if you are not careful you will spend more than you bargained for.
In the period of waiting the power to wait is very important... If you are travelling abroad and you had to get checked in and maybe you forgot to check in online..
By the time you got to the airport the queue is like 50 people ahead of you, would you jump the queue just to be checked in or wait for your time?
I bet you would wait for your time.. no matter how tideous or stressful the waiting or queuing may be you wouldn't get to the check-in person and start shouting or start throwing tantrums.
If you do so... You will miss your flight. What is the morals...? The power to wait at that time is the hope and faith of what you are waiting for that is ahead of you.
Power to wait on God is spiritual; it's not down to physical ability.
Power to wait on God comes from your prayer life, your prayer attitude.
Some pray and they just shout on God.
Some murmur in prayer.
Some start reminding God 'I did this for you and that..'

It is Him who gives us power to get wealth, there is nothing you do for Him that hasn't come from Him.
Some will just cry and cry and cry and cry and cry... 😇😇 It is well, you do not serve a weeping machine, you are the son and daughter of the King.
The amount of tears isn't what will make Him do wonders, your faith is what will move mountains.
Power in waiting... How much power do we lose in waiting when we fail to hear His direction?
While you wait you allow His direction to rule your path in life.
Some of us wait and we just start responding to every alarm bell..

You hear the rain you are like: is He in the rain, the storm: you run to look for Him. The sun you are like: can I bow to Him..? but guess what? He is speaking in that still voice inside of you because that is where the power He has given to you lies for you to be discerning enough through the power of waiting on Him.

Brethren we can go on and on and will never finish this.
Remember when God was going to speak to Moses through the fire, the fire wasn't roaring, it was burning yet the voice speaking was powerful... We didn't read that He roared and the fire consumed the ground... Our God is a consuming fire, do not misunderstand me, but what I am saying is He chooses with which tone He will communicate with you and I in waiting that we will know through His power in us that this is God.

Have you lost power in waiting?
Have you lost hope in waiting?
Are you distracted in waiting?
Are you still waiting?

Get this right... Your power in waiting is spiritually fueled not by human ability.
How do you do that...?
Dig deeper into the Word.
Identify yourself with the Word.
Live by the Word.
Trust the Word.
Proclaim the Word.
Praise Him using the Word.
Pray according to the Word.
Declare according to the Word.

You will be amazed how you will begin to see just as the Word wants you to.
You will be amazed how the power in waiting will increase mightily.
I pray that God will enlighten us all in Jesus name.

Father  I thank you for the grace to partake of the Word this evening.
Lord here I am, have mercy on me in any way I have been distracted while waiting on you.
Lord henceforth I want to grow in the power of waiting on you in Jesus name.
Father remove from my life every weakness that makes me give up on waiting on you in Jesus name.
Lord henceforth release in me the ability to wait on you no matter how it may be humanly impossible in Jesus name.
Lord increase the thirst to dig deeper in your Word as I wait on you so I will find the truths and direction to the right plans you have for me in Jesus name.
Heavenly king henceforth I dwell in your strength and renounce physical strength that makes me give up on waiting on you in Jesus name.
I decree I mount up higher and higher over all challenges and difficulties that make my waiting feel like a waste of time in Jesus name.
I decree all those things I have waited on God for are coming to manifestation henceforth as I replace my ordinary power to the supernatural power of God in Jesus name.
I decree my season to limp in joy and happiness is here in Jesus name.

Thank you Abba Father for answered prayers in Jesus mighty name.
Heavenly Father we worship you and give all praise that is due to you alone. Lord thank you for the understanding of your Word. Thank you for clarity. Henceforth we receive divine power in waiting on you. We renounce discouragement as we wait. We receive our supernatural grace and abundance visitation as we get power in waiting through the Holy spirit. We know Lord that you have done for us what no man can do and all praise and glory is yours in Jesus mighty name.

Peter said, “Can anyone refuse water for these people to be baptized,
since they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?”

Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special
abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy. For if
you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to

But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and
comforts them. A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened
personally, but one who speaks a word of prophecy strengthens the
entire church.

This evening we will be exhorted from the scriptures posted above and
the topic is the Baptism of The Holy spirit
Lord take control as we go into your word manifest like never before
in Jesus name
Before we go further can we all tell us, who is the Holy Spirit?

Sis Bimbo: Holy Spirit our comforter
Sis Leah: Yes

Sis Queeneth: Holy Spirit is the comforter whom our Lord promise to
leave with us while He's gone

Sis Leah: Yes

Sis Florence: The third person in the Trinity of God

Sis Leah: Holy Spirit is the third person of trinity... Holy Spirit is
God… He is the spirit of God who came after the departure of God the
son who is Jesus Christ...Holy Spirit was there before the creation of
earth... As human being we are made of body soul and spirit and when
we give our lives to Christ the spirit inside of us is replaced with
the Holy Spirit.
The word baptism can be translated to immersion or introduction or
launching or beginning...
Hallelujah

From the scripture In Acts 10:44-47 the story is told of Cornelius a
believer who happened to be a gentile but believes in Christ. Through
the direction of God Peter had to visit this man. Mind you the Jewish
do not mix with the gentile even when Peter was told to go to him he
was kind of skeptical and questioned that directive but he went.
The word of God says while Peter was still speaking these word, the
Holy Spirit fell on all those who were listening...

I want us to take a note of that those who were not listening didn't
partake of that impartation but those who were listening
To listen to someone shows a readiness of heart, eagerness to know
more than you have known, eagerness to lean afresh
This shows the acceptance of the gentile by God. All the circumcised
believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the
Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the gentiles...
Why this passage I want to highlight the fact that the Holy Spirit
isn't a denominational spirit
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all believers

No one is segregated, it is not even by age but by the dwelling or
impartation of God upon the earth that are ready to receive Him
Then all the gentiles didn't not just get impacted but they bursted
out in tongues languages that were not their original ones or tongues
of I may put it that way... They were praising God and Peter said can
anyone refuse water for these people to be baptized since they have
received the Holy Spirit...
Can you notice a dimension there these gentiles that were no one to
the orthodox Jewish were impacted by the Holy spirit with evidence of
speaking in tongues even before the baptism by immersion...
Isn't God wonderful?

Moving on to 1 Corinthians 14:1-4
Let love be your highest goal.... Who is love???
God is love, so our highest goal should be God...

But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives.
Especially the ability of prophesy, for if you have ability speak in
tongues you will be talking only to God since people will not
understand you.
You will speak by the power of the spirit (the spirit of God in you)
But prophesies strengthens others, encourages them and comforts them.
A person who speaks in tongues strengthen personally but one who speak
a word of prophecy strengthens the entire church
May the lord bless the reading of His Word.
As a believer who has the spirit of God inside of us it is not just a
gift but a blessing to be able to speak in tongues.

But that will not come if you are not baptized in the Holy Ghost
As we noticed earlier with the gentiles even before the baptism by
immersion they already received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
And from the chapter we read following that we understand that
speaking In Tongues isn't just a demonstration of gift but a direct
conversation to God

In Romans 8:36-27 the Bible says
‘In the same way the spirit helps us in our weakness we do not know
what we ought to pray for, but the spirit Himself intercedes for us
through wordless groans.. and he who searches our hearts knows the
mind of the spirit because the spirit intercede for God's people in
accordance with the will of God’
So not only are we speaking directly to God but we are speaking the
will of God into existence
Do you know that what you will reach and conquer or deliver through
praying in the holy spirit in just a while could take a while when you
are still trying to get your grammar and coordination ready when
praying in your understanding?

I remember as a teenager in church and the church I attend then led
prayers in native language but there is always someone to interpret in
English

But one day the person leading prayer said instead of you wasting time
on saying oh lord God oh lord God oh lord God and satan slaps you into
forgetting what you want to pray about pray in your native dialect
because your problem understand your native dialect😁😁😁

But let me tell you something even satan cannot come near you when you
are genuinely praying in the Holy ghost because the only person who
understands what you are saying is God

Am I saying it is wrong to pray in your understanding or native language?
Noooooooooo

As we can see there when you are giving message to people in prophecy
or even leading a prayer you need to do so in the understanding of
others because no one else can understand the tongue you pray in
except God gives them interpretation.
I bet someone is saying but I am not baptized in the Holy Spirit.

But as we read earlier for as many who were listening they got baptized.
And my prayer is for as many who are craving and listening to the word
of God this evening you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit in Jesus
name.

You say how ....?
I’m not going to teach you but I am going to join my faith with you if
you want to be baptized and you must be eager willing and ready to
allow the Holy Spirit impact you and change your tongue.
But as mentioned in I Corinthians 14: 1
Let love be your highest goal
So what can stop me from the baptism of the Holy Spirit?

Sin
Remember as I introduced the Holy Spirit earlier, He is God and do you
think God will dwell in a place ridden by sin
Noooooo
Does He still love the person? Absolutely yesssss

I would have loved to go deeper into how praying in tongues can affect
and cause positive effect in every aspect of your life
Do you know when you are baptized in the Holy Ghost even your
unconscious state is literally on fire for the Holy Ghost?

Let me sight an example those dreams and Revelation that keeps coming
to scare you and you wake up sweating like a Christmas chicken you
will basically be fired up from inside your unconscious state to
battle
Because your spirit isn't just an ordinary spirit again it is the spirit of God
So when the enemy come in like flood guess what happens

lord shall lift up a standard against them.
I hope it is sinking in now... You ain't gonna be there shivering and

Isaiah 60:1-2 says
‘Arise shine for your light has come and the glory of God is risen
upon you, see darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the
people but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you’
So who is the word talking about here... not ministers ordained either
by God or man..

He is talking about you!!!!
So the Spirit of God that is shining light is upon you His glory is
manifesting in you
You wonder but I am young....

That isn't any excuse for God believe it the question now is are you ready
Or perhaps you have been baptized by the Holy Spirit with evidence of
speaking in tongues but you are always shy to let it lose and roll off
your tongue today you will speak in Jesus name
Before we pray if you know you have unforgiveness inside of you or any
sin hatred, bitterness this is the time to let go.

You cannot serve God and Marmon
It is not possible to have two masters
So you will say;
Father I come to you just as I am, and I let go of all hurts,
bitterness unforgiveness, strife whatever sin might be hiding inside
of my being against your will I let go of them and I ask you Lord to
come and take your place in me in Jesus name
Amen

For as many thirsty for the Holy Spirit you will ask in your own closet...
He knows and can see your heart... He can see what you desire...
And did I mention that speaking in tongues isn't for fashion or being
in vogue purpose as you saw earlier it is speaking directly to God.

No, you will say...
Holy Spirit divine I am here thirsty for you fill me this day and let
my life receive your baptism in Jesus name.

Father I come to you today
change my tongue I want to be able to communicate directly to you
henceforth come Holy Spirit fill me like never before
Be ready and willing to receive Him, it may be instant it may be later
but get your heart prepared.

Let Us Pray
‘Heavenly father we worship you for this evening lord we thank you for
your word. We thank you for enlightening us on the Baptism of the Holy
Spirit and the importance to partake of the impartation.

Lord I join
my faith with as many craving this baptism that Lord you will visit
them today, lord I pray for as many who already have it but fear of
unknown is keeping them mute I decree that their tongue is listed to
pour out your spirit henceforth, father I pray that henceforth as we
get more involved in praying in the Holy ghost our lives will
experience you more in Jesus name.
