Be Inspired End of the Month Prayer and Fasting June 28th to 30th 2018

Text: Deuteronomy 31:6
So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 NLT

Glory be unto the Most High for the opportunity to see another month end. It is by His grace alone that we are standing. If it were to be the wish or standard of man many of us won't still be here but God has counted us worthy all glory to Him alone.

Before we go into the word let us pray.
Our Lord and Father the eternal rock of ages and provider. We magnify your name, ancient of days we glorify your majesty. Lord speak through your word into our hearts and give us insight into your plans for us and your will. At the end let your name be glorified in Jesus name.

Praise God!
The theme says Jesus is the way Maker. For many belivers and people with true understanding of who Jesus is there is no doubt whatsoever in the statement but for some there might be some doubt as to what exactly the word means.

What does it mean be The way?
When something is said to be the way, it means the procedure, the manner of doing something, the style of doing things. So when we say Jesus is the way maker we are only affirming what Jesus said about Himslef in John 14:6. I am the way, the truth and life.

If we look carefully at that statement, Jesus didn't say I am a way.. When you say something is a way, it most likely means there are numerous alternative as well as the particular one you are referring to hence using "a" in the statement. When you say "the", there is a form of confirmation that this is the major one.

From the Bible text here we this was God speaking to the Israleites not to be discouraged because God Himself will go ahead of them. Where was it theywere going to.. They were crossing over to the promise land but fear of the unknown might want to keep them limifed. But the word of God came as assurance that He will be with them how?

Bu showing them the right way.. Not only that by accompanying them in the journey. By enabling them to do beyond their capability by being their strength and provider.

This is where we need to reflect on, when Jesus is the way you and I follow, He makes  that way become a channel to fulfillment of destiny. It's not promised thatthere won't be persecution. There will be but the way maker will always make us victorious in Jesus name

When Moses had finished giving these instructions to all the people of Israel, he said, “I am now 120 years old, and I am no longer able to lead you. The Lord has told me, ‘You will not cross the Jordan River.’ But the Lord your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy the nations living there, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua will lead you across the river, just as the Lord promised. “The Lord will destroy the nations living in the land, just as he destroyed Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites. The Lord will hand over to you the people who live there, and you must deal with them as I have commanded you. So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Then Moses called for Joshua, and as all Israel watched, he said to him, “Be strong and courageous! For you will lead these people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors he would give them. You are the one who will divide it among them as their grants of land. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” The Lord said to Moses, “You are about to die and join your ancestors. After you are gone, these people will begin to worship foreign gods, the gods of the land where they are going. They will abandon me and break my covenant that I have made with them.

The Israelites were led out of Egypt by Moses whom God was using as the leader. But do you know that even though Moses was the mouth piece prophet of God, he couldn't say to them just go that way except he sincerely heard it from the one who is the way maker. Moses told Joshua here that the way maker already told him that he will not cross over to Canaan as he might have thought and Moses knew that God wasn't a joker of any kind because He is the way maker without Him there is no way Moses would have been able to get Israelites out of Egtpt because Jesus is the way maker nobody could question His power.

This is where we need to reflect again how many times have we thought I will just do it this way and God touches our heart or ministers through someone that we understand that He is showing us a way to get better physically.

The first true way Jesus made was on calvary. The temple curtain splitted on its own and Jesus said it is finished because the way to salvation became an accomplishment on calvary. The first and ultimate way to heaven for generations that have fallen into sin as a result of the sin of Adam nd Eve found salvation through Jesus Christ.

There are many things or desires in our hearts but it can only be fully achieved through Jesus who is The way maker. It doesn't matter how humanly impossible it may be when Jesus is at the fore-front, He surely makes away. When the way maker steps into our lives not only does it affect our eternal life but our physical life here is affected positively because doors that seem to be shut for ages begin to open up.

Beloved, do not give up on the way maker. A song by Jason Nelson says;

Note in my life Jesus won't just make a way, He is the way that I will continue to pass through.

There is nothing impossible in the route Jesus makes way for. When we truly obey and heed to Him being our way in life, we experience the extraordinary. He gives us the land of foreigners and make us king and rulers in places we least expect. Do not give up Jesus is the way Maker.

Almighty God I thank you for the privilege to be alive to partake in the prayer and fasting for this month in Jesus name

Ancient of days I give all pray to you and I ask for your mercy in anyway doubt has made me think you cannot make a way for me in Jesus name

Father open my understanding daily and increase my dependance on you in Jesus name

Glory be to God for anither opportunity to share His word. Thank God for counting me worthy to be used for such a times as this.

I want to share about trending trust. When something is said to be trending that thing is current in vogue or so to say. For example if their is a fashion trend it is a current thing or fashion that people are taking part in.

Trust we understand is a form of faith, hope and assurance in something or someone.

So saying that something is trending trust it will basically denote a current assurance or faith. It is non fading and unconditional.

From the scripture above about the Hebrew boys and their disobedience to Nebuchadnezzar to Obey the most High God I see their trust in God to be trending. They have been slaves in that land for a while and have had few challenges with compromising their standard and faith but they remained unmoved.

Today we live in the century where things change everyday. People change everyday, laws, policies, procedure, association, friendship infact almost everything changes daily.

As believer we are expected to have a trust in God that trends every season, under every government, in all situation. We are expected to have an unconditional trending trust in God. We aren't expected to make our trust on biased notion but in faith to God believing that He will and always remain thesame.

It doesn't matter what News we get hear or see our trust in God should be trending. People need to see that whatever the circumstances is. It doesn't change our stand in God and doing what He wants us to do because He doesn't fade so our trust in Him will not fade. Remember everything changes even human being change but God will remain thesame.

Today I want to encourage us all to have a trending trust in God over all we do or believe Him for because He is God.
