Hello sisters...
Hope your day is going well. Thank God we are still here it can only be His grace.
We do not look like what we have been through 'Cause grace speaks expressly in our lives.
I want to talk about social media influences.
We all use social media, if you are reading this, you are a contributor or participant of a social media platform.
Recently I posted a picture on my social media and I got comments like is that you, it doesn't look like you, you have changed wao amongst other comments.
I thought wao how quick are we to comment about people who we never know, we have never see, or haven't seen in a long time probably months, years or decades e.t.c and how much do we allow what people say to influence or impact our thoughts.
That aside, I read further posts by different people about people who needs assistance in one way or the other e.t.c.
And I sat back a little and thought about it, how come we now live a life where we either comment on people's lives or allow what people who will never see our down times, or other things going on in our lives put just a comment on our social media or theirs and the thought lingers in our mind.
It is simple we live in the age that is developing daily through technology, a lot are being connected while the most important things are being separated due to the demands of life and conscious status quo on social media.
At times you read some post and wonder what is this person really like, what goes on in their head are they really what they put there or are they doing it for attention.
My take on this is watch what influence you, watch how you influence people. It's not everything you comment on and if you feel need to do so, be constructive either in you adoring or admonishing or criticizing anyone.
A lot of lives have been greatly blessed or grossly damage as a result of social media influence and how individuals allow it to get into their lives.
Many fall victim of predators hanging around the world of www. But you can decide not to fall in the statistics of the unfortunates.
Having said that be a positive influence on or off social media. Your real life should mean a great deal to you than your social media life and they do not have to contradict each other.
I know we all understand in parts but here is my thoughts.
Stay Inspired.
