Lord no one is like you
Heavenly father have your way in our midst this evening in Jesus name

Lord eternal manifest yourself in our midst today. Lord we ask for your mercy over all sin in Jesus name. We give you all the glory because you alone deserve it
We worship your majesty indescribable father. Lord we magnify your wonderful name. Let the discussion this evening give us all divine and spiritual insight into who you have made us to be in Jesus name. Lord I lift the speaker and everyone unto you that you speak to us all in Jesus name. Lord I pray that you open our hearts to receive from you in Jesus name
In Jesus mighty name we have prayed..

And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.  And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?  Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.  But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.  And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.  And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.  And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;  And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:  But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.  And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.   And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.  And they went out, and preached that men should repent.  And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

Today's studies is taken from Mark 6:1-13
This is an account of what happen to Jesus...
Chapter 6:1-3
He didn't just go as every other person but He went there to teach.

Remember those days not every one had the access to the torah, the scriptures just as we do today even on our mobile device(s). Tell us about how Jesus went to His own country *(Nazareth)* followed by His disciples.  Not only that when sabbath came He went to the synagogue (place of teaching for community)

Then the people in the community wondered where He got the wisdom from. Because His teaching wasn't just like any other person. It was thought as though He wrote the word. But the people in the community some present there were probably aware of Jesus's conception. They knew His parents infact they probably could tell him when He started walking the type of diapers he wore (if there was any back then)..
They knew He was born in Bethelehem but grew up in Nazareth. At times as believers when God start doing great things in our lives...

People who know us well start questioning due to their unbelief
This is where the *Topic* Today came from
*Who are you? Their Unbelief*
In other words they knew Him so well that they started saying is this not the Carpenter, the son of Mary, Brother of James, Joses, Judas and Simon and are not His siters here with us?

*So they were offended🤦🏽‍♀*
Why they took offence is naturally human instinct. This is part of what happened in the case of our Lord Jesus they knew Him, knew His background so well that they couldn't fathom the wisdom coming out of His teaching at the synagogue so they were offended. Not only unbelief but their lack of acceptance and being able to see you as a qualified being for the great things you do. So Jesus Identified their unbelief and He gave the valid reason why they felt that way because He was from that country they didn't believe Him
But on getting yo verse 4 Jesus said to them *A Prophet is not without honour except in his own country among his own relatives and in his own house*
Remember it's from this same Nazareth that Nathaniel said Can anything good come out of Nazareth. So no child or person that grow up in this country is seen qualified. Imagine the kind of thought the people of Nazareth had towards each other
The Bible further said that Jesus
*_could do no mighty works there, except laid His handson a few sick people and healed them and He marvelled of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit teaching_*  Their unbelief limited how much great work the redeemer could have done in their midst
At times we need to pray against the prejudice or stereotype attached to our origin that may limit the qorks of God in our lives to be uprooted and destroyed permanently in Jesus name.

Some people will put you in a box just because of what you stand for or represent and as a result they can't get the best out of you. Exactly but they dwell in unbelief infact the oxygen in Nazareth was filled with unbelief so they breath it in

Going further

Jesus called the tweleve to *_Himself_* and began to send then out two by two and gave them power over unclean spirits. Their is a saying that if you want to ahead go alone if you want to go far go in a company...

Here is an example of two is better than one. Here we can basically see that when God calls you or puts you on a mission He equips you by giving you provisions to fulfill the mission. He commanded them to take nothing for the journey except a
staff, No bag, No bread, No copper
In their money belts, But to wear sandals and not to put on two tunics
God is a God of orderliness.

He gave them order to details what they should appear as...

Going further
He said to them Inw hatever place you enter a house, stay there till you depart from the place. *And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them assuredly I say to you it will be more tolerable for Sodom vans Gomorrah in the day of judgement than for that city*

Appearance...
For those who think your appearance as a believer does not matter you need to rethink... Here Christ was actually teaching and equip the disciples to appear more like Him...

*Simplicity*
*Humility*
So God will never force salvation on any man. The most He will do is to make sure they are able to hear it. They get access to it. But the choice is theirs, He is a God who never force His will on any man
Oh Lord Jesus help me to be like You in everything I do. But He made it available so it can be chosen from
So they went out and preach that people should repent and they cast out demons and anointed with oul many who were sick and healed them. Okay back to our Topic Glory be to God almighty for His word. Who are you?
You a soul winner
An embodiment of Christ
A carrier of His glory
A child of God
A soul saved to serve
A vessel unto Honour
An ambassador for Christ
A soul saved to save others through the message of the gospel.
You are the Christ that many will come across to actually meet Christ
A soldier for Christ.
It doesn't matter if people in your house rubbish the anointing of God upon your life.

What matters is you knowing who you are
Another thing you must understand is that As Christ is so arr you. You carry the power to heal and save the lost. Let me tell you why the devil makes it His duty to make believers think less of themself, But can you do that without understanding who you are? No
Do not believe that you are loaded with divine abilities doesn't mean you should believe in the same. The fact that they think you are too old, Too young, Too timid, To fat , To thin, Of unworthy birth.
So because your parents
Siblings, Children, Colleagues, Spouse, Community member, Church member, Pastor, Matron,Landlord, Landlady.  This is practical unbelief. The word of God Is God
I like the open heavens devotional today where Daddy GO said some people even after Pastor has prayed generic prayers still book appointment to be laid hands upon.  The word is powerful to pull down stronghold, To break chains, To promote
To lift up barriers, To set free.
His word mere reading it and truly believing from the scripture is powerful so why do you think you are nobody
I am talking to myself as well as everyone.

Years ago I prayed for a man on facebook, I never met him but its all to the glory of God, He got his healing. Imagine if you keep thinking oh me how when where?
God did it but He used me because I was abailable. Then you expect God to move in your doubting mind, Wake up satan is denying believers of the blessings God has deposited in us because of unbelief. Yes people will doubt you, They doubted Jesus. Where is his doctorate,  Where is her birth certificate.They wondered how a carpenter a mere builder can have such wisdom. Where was he/she born Yes they query your origin but you don't originate from what can be seen with mere eyes you originate from Zion Hallelujah.  Holy Spirit have mercy Lord. Belittling tge power of God in you. Stop stop stop stop stop.....🚫 Let me stop here.  Until you recofnise who you her those unbelieving community,  family, Church Members will not come to see the works that God wants to do through you. Pls take the understanding of who you are in Christ. Brethren if you take nothing from tonight. Lord we thank you for your word tonight. Thank you for speaking to us individually and collectively. Father help us in anyway we have ridiculed who we are in Jesus name.
