Text: Now it came to pass, when Adoni–zedek king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them; That they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all the men thereof were mighty. Wherefore Adoni–zedek king of Jerusalem sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying, Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel. Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it. And the Lord discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Beth–horon, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah. And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth–horon, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword. Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Aijalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel. And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal. But these five kings fled, and hid themselves in a cave at Makkedah. And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah. And Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the mouth of the cave, and set men by it for to keep them: And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them. And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening. And it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid, and laid great stones in the cave's mouth, which remain until this very day.

Praise be to God almighty for the privilege to share the word again. Anytime God lay a word in our heart to share be rest assured He wants a change not just in the receivers life but the messenger. I pray that the word today will sow seed that the Lord wants and will bring forth great fruits to His glory in Jesus name.
To conspire is to have a joint plan against another person that is negative or could hurt or damage something about them. Often in life we hear or come across different forms of conspiracy and at times it is so sad that some people lose valuables and even their life to this evil act. I pray God will expose all conspiracy against us in Jesus name.
From the above Scripture it is quite an interesting occurrence and studying it just gives me joy as to what God can enable us to know if we are in total obedience to Him. So the king of Jerusalem Adonizedek had the victory that Israel had made through the leadership of Joshua and how the people of Gebron had made peace with Israel. He decided to gather four other king to fight against Israel. You know what some people when they look at a child or children of God with ordinary eyes they suddenly land themselves in trouble.
So the four kings listened to him, this is so dumb because as king they must have some authority within their region and must have had people who they could seek advise from. They didn't question king of Jerusalem instead they joined in willingly. So they wagged war against Israel but they had forgotten that He who watches over Israel neither sleep nor slumber.
God did not just do spiritual fight He rained hailstone that slayed the enemies of Israel remember every creation must heed to the voice of their creator.
The kings panicked imagine... Kings..
Let me tell you something it doesn't matter what authority that is working against you when God is involved He rubbish that authority because no yes or no of this world can swallow the yes or no of God.
Not only was hailstones rained on them the sun stood still on Gibeon and Moon stood still in the valley of Aijalon. This God is too good. He made sure that they had the light needed for them to see the enemy and conquer them. Let me remind you that God almighty will never put you on a mission He won't make provision for never.
So the kings saw all this and their royal blood became water if I may say they went to hide in a cave...
No power can out power the power of God never. Not on this earth in heaven or under the earth, in the sea or the air. No power is able to do that.
So they hid in the cave and Joshua was informed and he commanded that a stone be rolled to block the cave. The cave was blocked Joshua went on to fight some more battles and by the time he came back the kings were still there. When God is for you whoever rise against you just like Haman was hanged in the gallow he prepared for Modecai, whoever is against you will willingly walk into their destruction even without your involvement.
When Joshua came back he asked them to bring the kings out and told the men of war that went with him to battle not to be afraid. Let me tell you something some situations God needs to deliver the conspirators and adversaries stylishly into your hands so He can wrath his judgement on them through you.
Joshua asked the men of war to put their feet on the neck of the kings and with his own hand he slew them.
We have and serve a compassionate but very jealous God who is mighty in battle. You can never conspire against God and His children and go scot free it is impossible. God is forever merciful but He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy on.
His forgiveness is something we all must covet in life and not His wrath. In as much as we are believers at times some believer conspire against each other or even people they do not know. Let me tell you today according to the word of God whatever a man sow he will reap. When king Adonizedek started the whole thing if he knew where it will all lead to or end He would have probably done otherwise.
Conspiring against anyone either to your benefit or the benefit of anyone else is wrong. You do not know the place that person is before God. Joshua was a vessel of God and Israel His children. Adonizedek and the other kings tread on the wrong person or people If I may say and they perish with it.
Can I encourage you that even when it is so much in your heart to do wrong go to God and hand it over to him. Some years ago I and a friend where conspired against at work. It meant our job was on the line. We handed it all over to God in prayer faced the panel and explained our path because all that was said against us was lies. To the glory of God the whole case was close. After that I drafted a letter to send to the head office about the whole conspiracy and expose those behind it but the Holy Spirit said no so I didn't post it. Some few months down the line this head conspirator did something so awful that thesame day this person was laid off disgracefully.
God will fight for His own it might not happen as spontaneous as we wish but He will surely do it. So beloved friends it is better to heed to the directions and will of God like Joshua than be like King adonizedek. May God deliver us from all conspirators and conspiracy in Jesus name.

Jehovah Lord I thank you for your word that you have sent to me this day
Lord eternal forgive me in anyway I have conspired against anyone knowingly or unknowingly in Jesus name
Abba father help me to always heed to your will at all times in Jesus name
Lord almighty as you made Joshua and Israel overcome the five kings and their cohort let me overcome all adversaries in Jesus name
Mighty God enable me to always depend on your leading at all time in Jesus name
