1 Corinthians 15:50 GNB
"What I mean, brothers and sisters, is that what is made of flesh and blood cannot share in God's Kingdom, and what is mortal cannot possess immortality."
When we read the passage above it ministers to us differently but there is a main message in there which is glesh can not possess the kingdom of God.
As believers little things that we hang unto like it controls our like can be part of flesh that cannot possess the kingdom of God. To inherit the kingdom of God or possess it we must be able to deny ourselves. Live a sacrificial life, a life that glorifies God when the world around us is against it. For example you are the only believer at your work place but you still participate in all the things that you know deep down its against the will of God but because you don't want to disappoint your colleague you rather do it than stand out because you believe the intention of your heart is what God cares much about.
