A word for you!

Joshua 2:10-13 AMP
For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the [east] side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. When we heard it, our hearts melted, neither did spirit or courage remain any more in any man because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath. Now then, I pray you, swear to me by the Lord, since I have shown you kindness, that you also will show kindness to my father's house, and give me a sure sign, And save alive my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all they have, and deliver us from death.

The life of Rahab before she met the spies was nothing to be proud of, she became the Rope older that saved the spies from the king of Jericho and also the Rope holder for the salvation of her family. This led to her being in the lineage of Jesus Christ. There is a lesson here for you and I, Christ found us when we were like Rahab. We were born in sin soaked and baptised in iniquity right from our mother's womb but He already paid the price for our salvation.  Fortunately for us we came to know Him through being evangelised to by someone. Look at Rahab she didn't become selfish, she asked for the salvation of her family. Some of us have been saved for years but fail to stand in gap for other people's salvation even close relatives. It would be nice if we could care much for unbeliver's soul as we care for ours. Rahab's family became privileged to know the God of Israel through Rahab's loving act. Today hold the rope tight lead someone to Christ.
Have a great day!
