A word for you!

A word for you

Esther 2:7-9, 11 AMP
He had brought up Hadassah, that is Esther, his uncle's daughter, for she had neither father nor mother. The maiden was beautiful and lovely, and when her father and mother died, Mordecai took her as his own daughter. So when the king's command and his decree were proclaimed and when many maidens were gathered in Shushan the capital under the custody of Hegai, Esther also was taken to the king's house into the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women. And the maiden pleased [Hegai] and obtained his favor. And he speedily gave her the things for her purification and her portion of food and the seven chosen maids to be given her from the king's palace; and he removed her and her maids to the best [apartment] in the harem. And Mordecai [who was an attendant in the king's court] walked every day before the court of the harem to learn how Esther was and what would become of her.

The Rope Holder. ..
The story of Esther is mostly used as a Biblical reference for favour. It is clear to us that Mordecai was Esther's Uncle. He raised her up in the fear of the Lord. Mordecai was a rope holder,  this days some people have the privilege of raising other people's kid up, instead they use them to favour their own children. If Mordecai had raised Esther up in an ill way well he would have reaped it.  Mordecai held the rope tight even when Esther was at the stage of uncertainty of either becoming a use and dumb lady by the king or the future Queen. Mordecai ensured he was close by getting the job of an attendant in the King's court thus giving him access to information about what was going on where Esther was. My point is, at this privileged stage we need to do the will of God and not abuse the power we have over others. The person might not even be a blood relative never discriminate, do as much as the Lord gives you power to. Don't wait for the person to pay you back or reward you Let God reward all your good deeds. I pray the Lord will give us understanding of His will concerning our deeds in life in Jesus name amen.

Have a blessed day.
