A word for you!

A word for you
1 Samuel 1:10-11, 24, 28 AMP
And [Hannah] was in distress of soul, praying to the Lord and weeping bitterly. She vowed, saying, O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your handmaid and [earnestly] remember, and not forget Your handmaid but will give me a son, I will give him to the Lord all his life; no razor shall touch his head. When she had weaned him, she took him with her, with a three-year-old bull, an ephah of flour, and a skin bottle of wine [to pour over the burnt offering for a sweet odor], and brought Samuel to the Lord's house in Shiloh. The child was growing. Therefore I have given him to the Lord; as long as he lives he is given to the Lord. And they worshiped the Lord there.

The Rope Holder...
Anytime I read this story I can't but wonder the level of faith Hannah had and how she stuck to her vow. She kept every bit of her vow because she had a deeper knowledge that God was the one who gave her Samuel. God is the provider (Jehovah Jireh) He alone understands the time and level of needs His children are in. Going back to the bit of rope holding, Hannah held the rope by praying for a child from God, she didn't let the rope down after being blessed with Samuel.  She took him back to God as she promised I can imagine the pain as a mother but she must have the divine understanding that God is the father of all so Samuel was in safe hands. Parents must understand the importance of praying for their children, you might think well I'm still a child myself there is still time, I want to encourage you to engage in the bank of prayer. Start saving prayers in that bank for your children. If you are a parent already its not too late to invest in prayer, a time of sewing begats a time of reaping. Friend today go on your knee just like Hannah hold that rope and invest in prayer bank for your children even if you are yet to have one.
Stay blessed!
