"But for your mercy Lord"

Be Inspired end of month fasting and prayer. February 2014
Day 3

Topic:“But For Your mercy Lord"
Text : Romans 9 : 15.

What is Mercy? Going by dictionary definition; it can be defined as showing no harm to someone whom you have power over, or to forgive someone you have right to punish. Who is lord? Also by dictionary definition; is a man who has a high rank in the nobility, for example an earl, a viscount, or marquis: in Britain Judges, bishop and some male members of the nobility are addressed as my lord. Now if we now talk about The Lord above, we are now referring to something else, not an ordinary lord who can live today and die tomorrow but we are referring to The LORD God Almighty, the one who in highest in authority, highest in power, commander of heaven and Earth, The greater among the greatest, The President of all presidents, The one who has no beginning neither an end, The breath of all lords of heavens and Earth etc. Someone called lord or in a position of been addressed as my lord is not an ordinary person, at least they have some measures of authority backing them up. For instance King Pharaoh can decided to set the people of Israelite free without no one questioning his authority but he refused and no one could deliver them 430 years of Slavery not even president of other countries or kings, because he was ruling in his own domain but The Lord God Almighty decided to set them free and they were free. Exodus 3v6 – Exo.15.

Another example of lord known as King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon lifted his heart after conquering the whole nations around him and he took the whole city of Judah into captivity without other lord of the Earth to question his authority but The LORD God Almighty Arose and send him into wilderness as an animal for seven years without deliverer until he acknowledge the most highest LORD before his sense returns.Daniel.4v28-34. So when we said “but for his Mercy Lord” it simply implies that we are seeking for the mercy of the highest God.

What are the Benefits of having the mercy of The Lord?
Divine promotion: - David was the last born in his father’s house, neglected and forgotten in desert but mercy of the Lord found him and he became king and ruler over his people and nation of Israel. 1 Sam.16v1-13.
Divine protection: - Joseph was hated by his brothers and they blotted to kill him and sold him to slavery just because they don’t want him to rule over them but the Lord protected him and make him ruled over them, their nations and other nations around them. Genesis 37v18-21.
Divine provision:- Diverse of miracles signs and wonders was wroth by The Lord in wilderness to supply the needs of the children of Israel such as raining breads from Heaven, water from the rock, quail from the air, supernatural supply of divine healing and strength etc. Exo.15v23-25, 16v1-25, 17v1-7.
Divine Favour: - Esther and Mordecai of no reputation obtained favour from the Lord and became rulers in their land of captivities, meaning taking a slave in the Land to become commander and law giver over his captives. Esther 2v8-9, 5v1-3.
Divine hope for hopeless situation: - Sarah, Rebecca, Racheal, Hannah, was barren and experienced a hopeless situations but The Lord’s mercy open their wombs. Genesis 21v1-5, 25v21, 29v31-32, I Sam.1-2v1-10.

Prayer-
Whatever blockage or cage enemies have used to cage you from receiving his mercy is uprooted and terminated this season in Jesus name.
You shall break forth through divine mercy in Jesus name.
You are coming out of every trouble that defile God promises in your life in thy name of Jesus.

Every activity of the evil ones and allegation of the devil are all silent by the blood of Jesus.

Mercy speaks for the thief at the right hand of our Lord on the cross of Calvary;

Mercy will speak for you this season in Jesus name.

The Lord’s Mercy is available for all creation that was the reason why God gave his only begotten son to the World that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life; John 3v16. So from the above understanding your believe in him is what access his mercy, even a woman who was not entitled to his mercy according to evaluation of his Apostle was shown mercy because of her believe and persistency despite the fact that she was called a dog, yet she said that even dog do eat from the master’s table. And when we put an illustration that “But for Your Mercy Lord» we acknowledge that no man is qualify to receive anything from the Lord since the fall of man, but glory be to his name for his mercy that brought his Son for the remission of our Sin.

So he is waiting at the door of our heart for us to open unto him, he saith in Mathew 11v28 “come unto me all ye that labour and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. So friends the Lord has promise to have mercy of whom he will have mercy, and he had prepared his banquet ready is now calling you to come and eat, please do not turn down his call like those he invited in Mathew 22v1-14, he has prepare everything and pay for our redemption and offer us free entrance to his eternal rest. No matter how rough you must have gone with the Devil, his blood was shed for sinners not for the righteous, you are the best candidate of his suffering on the cross, just come as you are and he will give you a new beginning.

Conclusion We are all save and rescue from the death through his mercy and grace and as many that are reading this text that are not yet given their lives to Christ; today is a day of Salvation please just repeat after me.

Say Lord Jesus, I accept that am a sinner, please forgive my sins and watch me from all my guilty and torments, rescue me Lord from the danger of hell and write my name in the book of live: Thank you Lord for forgiven me, I believe in your forgiveness, am now a new creature in Jesus name Amen
