Romans 4:16-25 Living Bible (TLB)
16 So God’s blessings are given to us by faith, as a free gift; we are certain to get them whether or not we follow Jewish customs if we have faith like Abraham’s, for Abraham is the father of us all when it comes to these matters of faith. 17 That is what the Scriptures mean when they say that God made Abraham the father of many nations. God will accept all people in every nation who trust God as Abraham did. And this promise is from God himself, who makes the dead live again and speaks of future events with as much certainty as though they were already past.

18 So, when God told Abraham that he would give him a son who would have many descendants and become a great nation, Abraham believed God even though such a promise just couldn’t come to pass! 19 And because his faith was strong, he didn’t worry about the fact that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred, and that Sarah his wife, at ninety,[a] was also much too old to have a baby.

20 But Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger, and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened. 21 He was completely sure that God was well able to do anything he promised. 22 And because of Abraham’s faith God forgave his sins and declared him “not guilty.”

23 Now this wonderful statement—that he was accepted and approved through his faith—wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. 24 It was for us, too, assuring us that God will accept us in the same way he accepted Abraham—when we believe the promises of God who brought back Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He died for our sins and rose again to make us right with God,[b] filling us with God’s goodness.

To believe is to have trust in something or someone and if you say you believe something or someone completely it means you have no iota of doubt. Your entire trust is based on that thing.
In today's word exhortation, I will be using the Living Bible. It's quite explanatory.

The Bible let us understand that the father of Faith is *Abraham.* His faith is something many people refer to in life. His faith to me was before the moment God called him to move to a land he knew not but he obeyed still because God told him to do so.

Let us go into the word from verse 16...

The word says God's blessings are given to us by faith... Hebrews 11:1 tells us what faith is.
It says..
*Now* Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
So faith is not just about the past, faith is a now thing, it is a present thing. Faith is the evidence of things not seen.
As much as that statement sounds a bit contradictory, we will understand from Romans 4 that God calls the things that are not as though they were.
Faith is a free gift to all believers who are ready to live by it. The Bible let us know that it is impossible to please God without faith.
We had a time of waiting on God and we believe the wind of change had blown. Instead of going back to the before life of the same it is all the same, begin to call those things that are not as though they were because the change had already happened and it is settled.
Abraham was called father of many nations for years by God even before Hagar had Ishmael.
Imagine calling a man in this era of ours father 40 to 50 years down the line such a person can begin to get weary of such name. In fact if they are overwhelmed by the whole situation they can demand that you stop calling them such names.
In some cultures when a woman is about to marry they start calling her wife.
When she gets married they still call her wife.
When it gets to a stage they start calling her 'mama this or that' indicating that she should be a mother soon. If God grants her prayer and she becomes pregnant, they start calling her 'mama twins' 🤰 because of the pregnancy.
Some will do it with good heart but some in mockery.
But what am I trying to explain here is that when you ought to have achieved something and it seems like it's not coming forth, calling you by that supposed achievement might or can be misunderstood as mockery except you are clear of the person's intentions.

The Bible tells us that we are not under the Jewish law and customs. If we have faith like Abraham we are certain to get what God has promised us.
God made Abraham father of every nation, that is you and I are seed of Abraham and by faith we qualify for that lineage. The people who will be the seed of Abraham must trust God like ABRAHAM had complete belief that He is who He said He is. He is God almighty.
Because God is the one that brought and still brings the dead alive, He speaks of the future event with as much certainty like they were past because He is God almighty.

Abraham believed God completely against all odds. He knew that His promises concerning him would come to pass. His faith was strong enough. He didn't bother about his age, or the fact that Sarah's womb was dead and too old to carry a child.
Abraham never doubted God in any way. He put a praise on the promises of God even before the manifestation. He was completely and totally sure that God was able to do whatever he promised. Because of his faith God forgave his sin.
I believe this sin is that which Sarah caused him to commit which was impregnating Hagar. Because that just seemed like he forgot what God had said concerning him.
His faith facilitated his 'not-guilty' verdict even in the state of a sinner.
He accepted the statement of God with total faith.

This applies to you and I this day because Faith is a Now thing. Before you start thinking "But Abraham is not my biological father" you are a seed of Abraham by faith through salvation; the salvation which came about through Jesus dying and rising from the dead to conquer death just to reconcile us back to God in the original state of being sin-free and acceptable to God almighty.

Today you might be thinking 'but the promises are taking too long to manifest..' Believe Him(God) completely. In believing God completely you do not have a plan B. God is the only plan.
It is not a matter of 'if prayer doesn't work, if scripture doesn't work, if going to church doesn't match or work', no.
Because your complete faith and my complete faith will affect my thinking and my utterance.

Many people put a delay on the manifestation because they fail to believe completely.
That which we desire is already made available, it is settled.
It's like being invited to a party and the theme for food is 'serve yourself.' The person who invited you would not expect you to get to the party and start the process of going to shop to buy ingredients for food, then cooking, before you are able to serve yourself. This is because the meal is already prepared. You just need to show up. That is what complete faith in God is.
You need to show up by kicking all doubts out.

Have you seen a situation where people are telling you that that contract is impossible?
Or that the lab results can't be changed?
But God is so mighty. You just have to stand on the Word and that which has been said to be impossible becomes so possible because your belief is completely in God.
You can see what is written but your faith rises from the inside and it affects your confession.

It is useless to say you have faith when you do not stand in faith.
If you do not stand in faith you fall in fate.
That is when you begin to exalt fate above faith because your mind is already darkened.
You are overwhelmed just by what you see or what you hear.
They said to you 'leave the country' and you are running from pillar to post.

Have you forgotten what the word of God says concerning the sole of your feet?
Have you forgotten what He said about the entire earth?
Have you forgotten He is the maker, owner and controller of the universe?
Who says yes when God says no?
Who says open when God closes?
Who says  sack when God says retain?
Who says demote when God says promote?
Who says illness when God says healing?
Who says lack when He says abundance?
Who dares call you victim when He has made you victor?
But the truth is what is your faith saying?

Do you want to completely believe in Him or partially believe?
You know whatever is partial cannot do the work of that which is complete?
You cannot drive a four wheeled car with 3 wheels. That will be a bumpy ride that will probably claim lives.

Except your faith is complete you might be denying yourself of the blessings of Abraham that is your portion.
I pray that God will open our eyes to see what He is saying about us in Jesus name.
I pray that every doubt that is causing us to deny our Now faith will be erased in Jesus name.
I decree that whatever it is that has been changed, that the enemy is placing false evidence before you causing you to doubt your promise from God, today God will put a stop to such in Jesus name.
I pray that everything that  is causing you so much pain, this month of April you are moving out with Halleluyah sound.
The latter of Abraham was glorious than His former. I decree your latter days henceforth will be a good testimony in Jesus name.
You will not testify of better yesterday in a situation that is unbearable in Jesus mighty name.

I urge you henceforth let your faith in God be complete in Him (God).

Begin to pray over all doubts in your life that God should erase it all in Jesus name.
