Bible Text: "Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.  And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.  And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.  Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.  Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband." Glory be to the Lord almighty for another opportunity to share His word. He alone deserve all the praise in Jesus name.

Our God is a God of plan and order, He is a God of purpose and at times He test our faithfulness through circumstances of life. Sometimes it's easy to scale through the circumstance but at times regardless of how easy or simple it is man fails.

Failure comes at times as a result of man depending on their understanding and ability which can only work to certain degree and level in life.

Looking at the Bible text, its a story about Ananias and Sapphira his wife and how a common lie cost them their life. This is a lie that these days we live in, man can easily get away with it. But then it was not that simple. These day I suppose the sinful nature in the world is vast. What Sapphira failed to understand is that all the activities of our lives are plain and opened to God. He has all the initial and primary facts so nothing is hidden from it.

Taking baking of sponge cake for example the secondary state of it is when its totally formed to be a cake 🎂 but its primary nature is mixture of flour and other ingredients that doesn't mean cake isn't what it is and it doesn't mean it's not mixture of all the ingredients.

In John 14:6 our Lord Jesus let us understand that He is the way, the truth and life. The dictionary defines truth as fact, what exactly happened. From the scripture we know Jesus Himself is the truth so nothing is hidden from Him.

Many suffer in life due to hidden truth, which is basically lies. If you are a single lady/man for example and probably hide crucial facts from your husband/wife to be it can come back in the nearest future to hunt you. If you applied for a job and your qualifications aren't real the truth will come out when you can't do basic things within your job role. At times we get caught up in others mess and we pay for it like Sapphira did but the difference is we aren't / might not be paying with loss of life but other things.

Many are caught up in lies and manipulations and they seek way out. But remember this day that Jesus is the truth the way and life. He is the way maker. Probably you are still in that situation because you are still so comfortable in that lie. Jesus wants you to seek Him today and come out into the truth out of lies. Maybe you don't even know how to go about it because it's rather too complicated and gone on for so long yet He is saying to you I can help you to come out whole, healthy and saved just believe and follow me and let me have my way in you.

Let us pray.

Lord I thank you for this wonderful insight through your word this day in Jesus name

Thank you mighty father for the life you have given to me and salvation of my soul in Jesus name

Lord deliver me from every lies that is bound to ruin me like Ananias and Sapphira in Jesus name

Mighty father help me to overcome every power withholding me down in unpleasant situation in Jesus name

Lord Jesus I invite you once again into my life take over in Jesus name

Jehovah henceforth I want to live in your truth no matter how complicated the matter is help me father in Jesus name

Lord I thank you for the victroy you jave given me henceforth through the truth in you in Jesus name
