Father we bless your holy name and give you all the praise for another opportunity to gather. We thank you for a new month lord we trust you because you have gone ahead of us. You are with us and you're in charge as we go into the program the word and prayer take preeminence let your name be glorified in Jesus name amen

Our Topic today is making Heaven, as believer our ultimate goal while on this earth and for eternity is to make heaven.

It is no longer news that eternity is real and where you choose to spend it depends on what you do whilst you are on the other side of eternity which is where we are now.

Our opening scripture is not new or we should have heard it or be familiar with it. Our lord Jesus Himself was the one talking here. Comparing how it will be difficult for some to make heaven. He said it will be much easier for a camel 🐪🐫 to go through the eye of a needle than for. A rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Some might easily take this as a reason they must stay poor but let's think about it. Many things can be called riches. And in this world we live in and for many reading this you are rich to a certain degree. You might not be as wealthy as the wealthiest or riches man but to a certain degree you and I are rich

We have phones that gives us access to travel the globe from the comfort of our homes, businesses etc

Without stepping out so before thinking out of the box that this applies just to the rich ones remember you are rich to.

The first question is how did we get saved?

He went once for all into the [Holy of] Holies [of heaven], not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves [by which to make reconciliation between God and man], but His own blood, having found and secured a complete redemption (an everlasting release for us).

We are all saved by the sacrifice of God Himself on Calvary. God came down in form of man to pay the price for our salvation.

Prior to the coming of Christ to atone for any man's sin there must be shedding of blood and in the old testament we read about numerous sacrifices made so people can receive forgiveness but this did not give the type of redemption that man needed. At that time a man was born into sin lived in sin when they committed sin they use blood of animals to sacrifice. But when Christ came to die, He paid the price for the ones who were alive before us, who were alive when he was on earth who are alive now and those who are yet to be born.

It was a sacrifice that no one or animal could pay.

For if [the mere] sprinkling of unholy and defiled persons with blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a burnt heifer is sufficient for the purification of the body, [Lev. 16:6, 16; Num. 19:9, 17, 18.] How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?

We can read that in the scriptures above.

The price for our redemption was an ultimate and eternal one.

You might now be wandering if Christ has paid why do we still need to struggle to make heaven?

God is not the God that force anything on anyone. The price has been paid but it is still our choice to make heaven or not

Remember that Satan and the fallen agents were casted out of heaven and they are somehow at work 24/7 ensuring that captivate more souls to join them on their eternal destination. This is where the choice to make heaven comes in.

If you are not saved or make the choice to accept Jesus as your lord and saviour you can be functioning under the dictates of the devil and fallen angels

God is sovereign and His love for us is beyond what our mind can fathom hence why we were given redemption before we were born but it is essential to acknowledge that you have Christ and work/walk according to His will and purpose. 

Because eventually only those who know Him and accept Him as lord and saviour will truly make heaven

Making heaven is not something that falls on you. It's not a miracle it's a conscious effort. Do you know that the Criminal on Calvary that said to Jesus to remember him appears to be the first to be saved. Even though he lived a life that lead to his crucifixion but at the very last minute he met Jesus and he got saved

Making heaven is a conscious effort with supernatural intervention

You cannot say well I will do it at the last minute because non of us know when the last minute will be

You may say well what else do I need I have access to all I want I have this and that what else can be as good as this that I need heaven for.

Hmm I want to make heaven..

Walking down the street of gold, where there will be no gnashing of teeth, no tormenting, no manipulation, no evil perpetration, no hunger, no bills, no crying, no punishment all we will do is worship God eternally in our mansion

This tho will only be applicable to those who make heaven

*Final joy* 

Making heaven is the final joy any believer can encounter

For I know their works and their thoughts. And the time is coming when I will gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see My glory. And they shall bring all your brethren from all the nations as an offering to the Lord–upon horses and in chariots and in litters and upon mules and upon camels–to My holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord, just as the children of Israel bring their cereal offering in a clean vessel to the house of the Lord.

All nations, all tongues everyone no matter your race, your nationality as long as you qualify as you qualify for heaven will be gathered to offer continuous unending worship and praise to God in heaven

Have you ever thought about a place where you don't need to sleep, that paralysis will no longer be there, that cancer will not be there, that lack will vanish, that pain will not be there and all you do is moving in the incorruptible body that you have because this current body will be left here on earth either through rapture or at death when the person is buried.

One of the final joy is to be among the victorious ones, that God will write His name on, bearing that last me of God with no blemish

The ones who make heaven will be the one to enjoy the new heaven

For as the new heavens and the new earth which I make shall remain before Me, says the Lord, so shall your offspring and your name remain. And it shall be that from one New Moon to another New Moon and from one Sabbath to another Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me, says the Lord. And they shall go forth and gaze upon the dead bodies of the [rebellious] men who have stepped over against Me; for their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all mankind.

Reading the latter part of this scripture the ones who do not make heaven will be gazed upon being consumed by undying worms, the fire will not quench

This message is not to scare you in any way but to encourage you to keep standing in Christ. Perhaps you feel like your faith is shaky and your walk with Christ isn't what you thought it should be. Do not allow whatever luxury you have now on this side of eternity to ruin eternal rain in heaven.

Heaven is real do not be deceived by whatever achievement you acquire here on earth.whatever we have here will be left here. has it ever occurred to you that once someone dies they cease to be referred to by their name. It automatically becomes the body of Mr or Mrs this or that.

It's because the soul of that person has left that body, they are home far away and every day of our lives becomes a flash every activities we engaged in will become like a recorded message

Today I want to encourage you. Heaven is not old fashion, it's not a myth. It's real and we must make heaven.

Let us pray

Father we give you praise and worship you for the privilege to receive your word and be a vessel to be counted worthy of making heaven lord in anyway we have missed it help us to retrace our steps back to you. Father grant us divine encounter to see what state we are in you and at the end do not let this words stand against us.make us doers of your word not readers, preachers or spectators in Jesus name

If you haven't given your life to Christ say this prayer

Lord Jesus I come to you this day I confess my sins and I release my entire existence to you take preeminence I accept you as my lord and saviour write my name in the book of life and help me to walk uprightly before you and reign with you after my race on earth in Jesus name
