*Text:* And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. Wind the perceptible natural movement of the air, especially in the form of a current of air blowing from a particular direction.
Storm a violent disturbance of the atmosphere with strong winds and usually rain, thunder, lightning, or snow.
You cannot have a storm without a wind they both follow each other.
From the scripture above, I shared two accounts one from the book of mark and the other from the book of Matthew
We are made to understand that Jesus was in thesame ship with the disciples, they were coming back from a crusade if we can out it that way.
Then suddenly a great storm of wind and waves 🌊 beat into the ship.
When this happened you would have thought that the disciples would summon courage and command it to stop. If you read the preceding story you will have clearer understanding. They had seen many miracles happen that Jesus did. This should have given them courage to command the storm and the wind to stop.
But because they had Jesus there live and direct the went to Him and they said master do you not care that we perish.. it's like saying are you just going to sleep..
Don't you have an awareness of the occurrence in your environment?
From the way this was explained you can tell that Jesus was comfortable in His sleep.
And you can imagine if someone wakes you up from sleep..
Well someone like me even though I am a very light sleeper, I will first find a way to get myself composed
Then listen to why you woke me.. and you better have a good reason😀😀😀
The scriptures made it clear that Jesus rose and rebuked the wind and said peace be still.
He said 3 words
Peace
Be
Still
Just like that and the wind ceased and there was great calm.
The Bible is clear and we are made to know according to Genesis chapter 1 how all that was created was by the word of God.
God said let there be and there was.
Let there be and there was..
In the book of John 1:1 we know that in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and God was the word.
So it's not surprising that this wind 🌬️ and the storm 🌊 ceased instantly when The Word(Jesus) spoke the word..
One significant thing here is He spoke to the wind and the storm stopped.
So behind the storm 🌊 was the wind 🌬️.
Without the wind 🌬️🍃 the storm 🌊 can't stand.
I hope it's making sense.. so the storm gets its power from the wind
The wind is a perpetual natural movement of air that comes in form of a current of air blowing in a particular direction
While the storm is a violent disturbance of atmosphere with strong winds...
So the wind 🌬️ must be present for the storm to be active
In order to get rid of the storm you must go to the root cause and the root cause is the wind.
The root cause analysis is a great way of actually getting rid of any challenging situation
If you fail to deal with the root cause you will fail to put amend to theoutcome
When the people complained of the water 💦
And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried unto the LORD ; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,

The bitterness had to be taken off before they could have Sweetwater
Do you know if they put bunch of sugar cane and sugar or 🍯 honey in that water it won't become sweet and edible enough..
But when the root cause was dealt with change took place.
At times we face the storm and forget the wind Behind it...
We nurture what the root cause is and we rebuke the outcome.
You cannot continue in same path and expect the supernatural to happen.
You cannot stand on the same level of faith and expect God to show Himself.
The devil doesn't tamper with destiny that has no greatness..
The devil tampers and challenges the destiny that is meant to birth greatness
You cannot continue to sleep through the night, not study your Bible, not crave for the Holy spirit, not listen to the Holy spirit and expect the supernatural to happen.
For peace and calm to return the lord had to intervene...
My question is
Is Jesus still in charge of your life..
Yes we can say the disciples became impotent by fear of unknown and they had to run to Jesus..
Mind you they were only able to run to Him because He was there present with them if He wasn't they wouldn't have had that opportunity
Where is Jesus in your life
What position has He become
Is He still your ⚓ anchor
Is He still your only plan
Is He still your lord.
Or are you carried away by the storm and the wind.
Are you bowing to the storm and the wind.
The lord will put an end to it if only you have Him in your life.
You cannot expect the supernatural if you are exhorting the storm
The wind must be silenced so that you can enjoy the calmness and peace that God planned for you
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God has a plan for you and i
At times we delay things because we for us on the storm or the wind but we neglect the presence of God and His authority which should not be don't know where you are in your life. I don't know how life is treating you now. I don't know what storm has risen or yet to rise but today Jesus will speak to that wind Behind the storm and calmness will return to your home.
Peace will return to your family.
An end comes to that uncertainty.
You will enjoy His hands more now.
But let Him lead you henceforth
His plans for us is beyond what the authority of the la.d says, it's beyond what the doctor says, it's beyond the period of your wait, it's beyond the family pattern, it's beyond the fear yes He is the word that stops all wind and storm
His name is Jesus and He is able to do more than you can imagine.
Say it out loud.
*God has out an end to the wind Behind the storms in and around me I enjoy peace and calmness henceforth in Jesus name*
Father we thank you for your word that sets is free.
Lord in anyway we have given off your place to fear of unknown let your mercy prevail in Jesus name.
Father before the end of this month let every lives ravaged by any form of storm seen unseen, spiritual physical, marital, financial and academical begin to experience divine turn around in Jesus name.
