In search of the true God

My name is Paulo i am an individual who believes there is more to this world than the ordinary eye can see.

I am in search of the true God, yes i am in search of the true God. Indeed we live in the days where except you belong to the most remote part of the world different gods are preached by different individual with different doctrine.

I am privileged to live in the part of the world where different religion or faith are practiced without any barrier as long as you accept others for whom they are.

I belong to a society  where its norm to go to place of worship at the end of the week and at times during the week. By now you must be thinking i know God. To certain extent i do but i still want to know the true God and below are the reason(s).

On a typical day of service at my place of worship brethren come in all dressed glamoursly as far as their purse can take some and some far beyond how their purse can take them. Such gathering is so colourful and as the speaker finish talking to motivate or encourage the audience you can hear folks saying ride on papa, oh yes Halleluja, lord have mercy by now you should know where i worship yes its a church.

At the end of such typical gathering folks stay behind to have a quick chat, the gossip start going round, some folks go home convicted and renew as it may appear. Some folks stay behind till the place is shut. At home folks call each other and such conversation goes on
Tina(she fights agains every mistake leaving hers behind): "Hey Audrey gurl you killed it today them shoes rock the whole church"
Audrey:"Tina you sure can say that again i have another one that will be delivered against next gathering its only $600"
Tina:"that is a lot of money, i got bills to pay i can't do that "

Those are the folks that go out of their purse just to stand out physically not spiritually
Debbie(the so called spirit filled lady): "you won't believe who gave the highest donation today"
Rose:" who did?"
Debbie: "Evelyn, i tell you that girl does some runs. Miss Hatchet gave her widow's mite again only the lord knows when she will be visited by Elijah so she don't die in the widows mite."

Some other folks from the gathering get back home and on their knees reflecting on the word preached. While the one who gave the message works more on them.

My concern now is i am confused this folks who go about trying to impress, living a life that portrays holier than thou are actually making it difficult to understand the message especially where it says in 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 KJV"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

It's a shame that even those who ought to understand the spiritual things are taking levity where we ought to be the first contact for others salvation we stand as the main barrier to others salvation. Some speakers or preacher have even taken dominion in the watered down version of the gospel. Just because of fear of losing folks the truth is diluted and made fit for purpose but is God happy about that?

I read in the word of God how people were instantly purnished for their sin take Ananias and his wife for example they died after lieing to the apostle. Now in the dispensation of grace through Jesus more time is given for repentance.

Yet His word says He will come like a thief in the night.
I am searching for the true God and i have found Him in His word the Bible where?
John1:1 KJV" In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."
Yes that is who He is i am not interested in any watered down word that allows the gospel to be misunderstood.

I know He told me in Joshua1:8 KJV "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

I Paulo have my mind up i am not going to be in the midst or gathering of preachers who leave the importance of the word of God to accommodate the  norms of this life just because they want to make sense to man. I will pray for the true vessel of God and i will strive to be a true vessel myself so that through me no one will miss Heaven in Jesus name.
