Be Inspired End of the Month fasting and Prayer
September 28th to 30th 2015
Theme: Untie the Colt
Text: Mark 11:2-3 Saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’ ”
All glory be to God who has counted us worthy to see another month end indeed He is the one who does impossible because left to the power of man you and I might not be here but all glory to Jehovah.
The theme of this month is an unusual but straightforward one. We all at some oint must have read story before but if not its a self explanatory one.
Our Lord Jesus needed a colt to ride on. He told one of the disciples where to find one and what to say if he was queried and it all went as the Lord said it. It's incredible to man but its nothing to God because He is the Alpha and Omega. He created the colt and the owner and it's been written that at the appointed time that colt will be used by its maker Hallelujah.
How does this colt issue relate to us, glpry to God for as many vessels He has used in the past to teach on this part of the scripture. His word is new every morning. A colt is a young uncastrated male horse basically its a small pony for as many who can understand it better. Before that pony came to being God had already planned that day so the happening on that day was a way of the spiritual manifesting physically.
As God had planned and formed you and I in our mother's womb and outlining the road and paths we will tread on in life even before we were born. Many are times that things happen to us we wonder how and why but except we are totally in touch, rooted and sold out in God every happenings or occurrence in life will remain a puzzle for us to unravel.
Like that colt many of us are actually set apart for the use of the master but upon arrival of the master some powers stand to lay claim on our souls. I decree that every power laying claim on our lives today will be terminated by fire in Jesus name.
Looking into the life of that colt as it stayed tied to a position, its mate must have been running about doing whatever gets colts or other animals busy but this colt was tied to a point. If it needed to feed he couldn't go and eat anything just like other colt. Its food will be brought to it, when he excretes it would be cleared for it. I bet that colt must be thinking why me. Does that sound like stagnation to you? Yes it can be termed as stagnation, delay or limitation. Where you thought you would have been now you are no where near it just like that colt you are looking at your mates doing what not but you might or might not be aware that Jehovah has a better plan.
When the Lord finally decided to let lose of this colt no one not even the owner could longer lay claim on it. Those mate of it now look in amazement at the once stagnant colt free moving not just moving but in majesty of Jehovah Nissi the victorious God. If you wonder how it became a majestic colt look at Mark 2:7-9 "and they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments on it and He sat on it. And many spread their garments in the road and others spread layers of branches full of tender leaves having cut them out of the fields and those who went before and those who followed behind cried out, Hossana! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." Hallelujah, the one spot colt now walked on a red carpet if we want to relate it that way. I don't know what exactly it is you are going through that makes you feel like that colt i decree according to the world of God in Psalms 102:13 that God will arise and have mercy on you and your deliverance is now in Jesus name.
Except you have gone through season of delay you might find it hard to understand the situation of that colt or anyone facing challenges related to delay, denial, stagnation or whatever is related to it. I want to encourage you that God has not forgotten or given up on you and this season will pass away in Jesus name. One thing that is important is you must have faith in God as your deliverer, the author and finisher of your faith and you won't be disappointed in Jesus name.
Prayer
Father i thank you for the grace to partake of this month's fasting and prayer and see the end of september all glory be to you in Jesus name
Father have mercy and forgive all my sins in Jesus name
Lord Jesus i release myselfbto you help my unbelief and deliver me in Jesus name
Father you are the help of the helpless i look to you for help
Father thank you for this word Lord help me to stay rooted in you regardless of my challenge so i can have my testimonies in Jesus name
Father before i become disgraced and displaced come to my rescue and save me from all destruction in Jesus name
Father untie my destiny and that of my family today wherever it's been tied so we can fulfill purpose in Jesus name
Father let this month mark the end of stagnation in my life in Jesus name
Lord as i step into the new month tomorrow let me experience newness in Jesus name
I decree Ephrata to every doors that are closed that needs to be opened in my life to open in Jesus
Lord i thank you for answered prayers in Jesus name
