Little Entrepreneur

My little Entrepreneur 👦

Couple of days ago my little boy took interest in making ice lollies. Infact he made one and was so excited of the outcome. He wanted me to taste it i said it's good even though i didn't taste it. Infact he shared it at sunday school that he made ice lollies.

I decided to surprise him i bought an ice lolly shaper that will make his ice lolly more real. He was thrilled, he kept checking on it to find out the outcome which was great.

This morning i heard him negotiating on the price he wants to sell each ice lollies. Wao!   I thought little Entrepreneur. He even said one was a special flavour compared to others and he was not even giving up on his business skills. He was so confident of what he made and he was ready to promote it.

This got me thinking about talent/gift/resources. God as we know is the giver of all gift. He expect the gifts to be used to His glory and benefit the one who use it.

Some of us have gifts but like little Entrepreneur we kind of lose focus that the source is God then we start negotiating on where to use it and how to use it leaning on our ordinary human understanding.

I was listening to a preacher the other day and he spoke at length on how God had placed in each individual the secret of their success but many still look the wrong direction.

There is nothing bad in making your living from your gift at all. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:16 KJV "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men."
So God gave us gift/talents/resources so we can benefit from it but above all that it will bring glory to Him.

Don't be an entrepreneur on the gift God had placed on you without consulting Him on what to do and seeking grace and strength to use it to glorify Him. It's useless if your gift is used against the giver.

There is no man on earth without a gift from the greatest giver (God almighty). Use it in line with the decision of the greatest one Jehovah Elshadai the provider.
