So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.

Lord we thank you for another opportunity to gather today we worship you because you are a wonderful God. In your word today speak to and through us. Let it be word in season in Jesus name amen .

The statement oil your wheel means making a process smooth for a successful outcome.

In life we go through different stages as a believer we also go through different stages.

When you are a new convert you look up to Bible scholars and teaching that will enhance the growth of your faith.

In fact it becomes a daily hunger for a new convert to learn more and know more about this new way of life and faith.

As we grow in faith, we shouldn't just be waiting on scholars, journals and teachers but we should be dwelling more on and in the word because we are no longer babies who need just the milk.

The text reference says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

I know many would think hearing the word of God should mainly come from ordained ministers, theologians, Bible scholars and so on. However in the context of the topic today oiling your wheel, this has to do with you confessing the word to your own hearing.

Some people call it daily affirmation, even unbelievers have some words of affirmation.

One thing about our creation is we become what we call forth or call ourselves. If you wake up daily and look in the mirror and rain curses on yourself it's most likely that the day will be rough with unpleasant occurrences and paths.

If you wake up daily and look at yourself, reminding yourself you are a child of the king, you are a king, a queen a royal, a called vessel, you know what to do, you have all things working for you. These words are not mere words you are channelling the structure of your day both physically and spiritually.

The icing on the cake here is when you back those declarations up with the word of God, because God said it and so is it, I am a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar person, I am bold and strong, I am filled with light, I am not depressed, I am not alone,I am not a failure, I am not barren, I am fruitful and I multiply, the word says that He that is in me is He that is in the world.

Every word combined in the declaration above has a Bible reference and this can only be integrated into your conscious and subconscious mind if you have loved from just listening to what people say about the word of God to what He says to you as you study the world and allow His spirit to guide you.

A good example of someone who oiled their wheel is Noah as seen in the verse below:

By faith [with confidence in God and His word] Noah, being warned by God about events not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his family. By this [act of obedience] he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which comes by faith.
Hebrews 11:7 AMP
https://bible.com/bible/1588/heb.11.7.AMP

The word says by faith he started building the ark, God told him there will be flood, he gave him like spiritual download of how he needs to prepare and he started doing it by faith even though prior to that there hadn't been rain let alone flood

By oiling your wheel you do not just function based on what your physical mind can comprehend, you may be looking at yourself now and wondering can I actually get there, is it possible?

Yes it is, start from this moment declare concerning your heart desires that it is settled, even if others fail you will come out successfully.

Don't stop even when what you see contradicts what you say because that is where the enemy cripple some believers, when things don't change as expected some people are quick to throw in the towel.

Oh I have done it several times but it's not working. Stop saying that, the true winner is the one who failed multiple times but never quit.

Remember the children of Israel while crossing the red sea, as they were going they saw the host of Pharaoh pursuing 🎠🎠🏇🏽🏇🏽 with full force, imagine if they said well God you let us down let's just stop here, hmmm what would have happened?

They kept going although it must have been steps of faith with fear lurking behind but they allowed faith to go forward instead of fear and the Egyptian they saw before they didn't see them no more.

My question to you and myself is are we oiling our wheel. Are you speaking faith rather than fear, are you going by what the word says instead of what the world is saying?

Remember it takes a whole lot of faith like a mustard seed to command that huge mountain to move and it takes a little fear to allow the ant become the king in your spiritual dynasty.

*Let us pray*

Father thank you for your word is truth and life

Lord thank you for sending this word in season to me

Lord help me to learn and unlearn attributes that short change my faith

Lord henceforth let the zeal to study your word increase in me beyond my understanding

Father eliminate every seed of doubt and fear from my thoughts

Lord from today guidemy utterances and erase negative confessions permanently

Lord arise in my situation as I unlearn unworthy way of speaking to my destiny fill me with the right words in Jesus name

*Make positive confessions concerning yourself, if you can write them down and continue to confess them*

Thank you everlasting father for answered prayers in Jesus name amen
