Be Inspired End of Month Fasting and Prayers
Saturday 28th - Monday 30th of June 2014
Theme : " Sounds of Heavenly Armies. "
Text : II Kings 7:6 NKJV :For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and the noise of horses—the noise of a great army; so they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us!”

In the cause of our three days fasting and prayers we have heard glorious words and eye opening messages and prayers shared. We have been told about effects of sound and its difference from noise. I pray that God almighty will continue to give us great insight of His words in Jesus name amen.

The sounds of Heavenly armies, from the Bible text we have been made to understand that the syrians flee from their camp where they had taken shelter in preparation for launching attack on the Israelites because they heard the "noise of chariots and the noise of horses, the noise of a great army".

If you read the chapter from verse one you will understand that Elisha gave the prophecy of how the children of Israel will live in abundance of food the very next day whilst experiencing famine. The officer that doubted only saw but never enjoyed it (2kings7 : 2, 20). It was the period of famine so from a mare man's understanding the officer doubted the prophecy of Elisha. Many are times that whilst in a very difficult situation we find it hard to believe prophecy or stick to the promises of God faithfully.

Its like encouraging someone  who was born into a situation that affect their whole lineage that tomorrow things will change it will take a great faith for that person to agree with what you say even if it comes from the mouth of a prophet.  It doesn't mean we should ignore or doubt the promises of God or His prophecy. We need to always rely on God even when all hope is lost.

The Isrealistes had lost hope in physical battle but they trusted in God's power.  People of the city were eating what they can even their children were not singled out from been eaten (2Kings6:26-29).  The lepers were the first people to witness the goodnews and eat out of it.  In those days, lepers were cast aways, those who are not wanted in the society, those who had been written off but yet God let them see what the king and dignitries were yet to see.

The sounds of Heavenly army turned the camp of Syrians into freebee centre so to say. People who would not have had anything to do with the leper even enquired from them how they knew that the syrian army had fled (2kings 7:10-12). Our God is awesome, imagine how God turned the wisdom of the syrian to foolishness because He had better plans for His children. I pray that all the evil plans of enemies concerning us will be futile in Jesus name. Wherever our enemies are hibernating waiting to attack us the Lord who cause the Syrian armies to flee will arise on our behalf and our enemies will scatter in Jesus name amen.

God is still in the business of doing incredible things all to His glory. He just needs us to have faith even when it is vividly difficult to keep on having faith. Sometimes ago I heard a story of someone who was suspended from work due to allegations raised against her. It was a difficult period but she fought the battle on her knees seeking God's face and not only His hands. The God who can do what no man can do gave her victory. Also I heard about someone looking for ways to regularise their status in a foreign land all the solicitors said it was impossible the case was not strong enough suggesting all kinds of ways that were ridiculous but this person seek the face of God and God made way where there was no way. Our Faith can cause God to make our adversaries hear the noise of armies from heaven and they will tremble and flee.

We need to also note that the King of Samaria seek for prophetic utterance about the whole issue (2Kings6: 32-33). Allow your steps to be ordered by the Lord, it might come through a vessel of God or directly from God to you. I pray as we end this month on the note of God causing our enemies to hears noise from heaven which is sound of Heavenly Armies we will spend the rest of the year in abundance just as the people of Samaria did. Can I just encourage you to activate your faith as  we know that Faith according to Hebrews 11:1" Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen."

Prayer
Father I worship you for how far you have brought me you alone are worthy in Jesus name amen.

Oh Lord forgive me in anyway  I have allowed doubt to hinder my blessings in Jesus name amen.

Father as you caused the syrian armies to flee all to the benefit of the Isrealites scatter the camp of my enemies and let me overcome in Jesus name amen.

Oh lord renew me from the Inside out and help me to hang on faithfully to your promises for my life even when all road seem impossible in Jesus name amen.

Father I decree into the rest of this year that I shall live in abundance and today will mark the end of lack in my life in Jesus name amen.

My lord as the lepers became relevant even where they were castaways lord where I have been written off do something great and make me relevant according to your will in Jesus name amen.

Father even as my physical strength fails I agree with your word that henceforth I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me in Jesus name amen.

Thank you Lord for a testimonies filled season and answered prayers in Jesus name amen.
