Covering our sinful nature with more sin,is like pouring petrol into a burning fire and expecting it to stop burning.
Sin draws man away from his Maker(God).
It brings limited physical enjoyment or satisfaction.
All it does to one's soul is distress and starvation.
Human Flesh and self will find it difficult to let go.
It only takes the grace of God to confess one's sin.
The Bible says" all of us have become like one who is unclean, and allour righteous acts are like filthy rag; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away".(Isaiah64:6 NIV).
In order words our sins are like a sewage and refuse depot if our righteousness is like filthy rag.
EVERY HUMAN CONSIST OF SPIRIT SOUL AND BODY.
When you die only your soul goes to eternity.
Death doesn't write invitation. Even when people have long term illness still the hour,second or minute is unknown to Men but clear and known to God alone.
Psalms 90:5 says" you sweep men away in the sleep of death; they are like the new grass of the Morning".(NIV).
There is no classifation or rank in sin. Be it murder,theft,lie,enviness, whatsoever that doesn't glorify God is sin and there is no high or low class its all thesame.
Sin imprisons human being if its covered.
You do not have to be under locks in a maximum control prison to be a prisoner.
Any one who is a slave to sin, is imprisoned to sin. Sin brings shackles that limit spiritual growth and movement.
Sin makes a fool of your godly nature and exult the sinful nature in you by making it look right.
When sin masters a human being, the human being mistakes it for ordinary human nature thus finding it difficult to let go.
It takes the grace of God not to give in to sinful nature less we mistake it for human nature.
Christ paid the price on calvary to redeem us from condemnation to sin as inherited from Adam and Eve.
CONFESSION LEADS TO FREEDOM.
When you confess your sin you put that sinful nature to shame and seek God to re-dress and forgive you.
1John1:9" If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness".(NIV).
When we backslide or sin confessing brings repentance and deliverance from eternal condemnation. Remember God sees everywhere even in the darkest place.
Do not live in self denial by shielding your sinful act away from Men. You can't hide from God.
There is no one on earth who is infallable.
Sin comes because of flesh.
Confess to receive freedom.
Shake the shackles of slavery and imprisonment from sin away by confessing to God to receive forgiveness.
God is able to wash our dirty acts cleaner than snow. Believe it and you will be free.
It drowns the spiritual nature in you and uplift Self. It might seem unbearable to confess or shameful. To face an earthly shame is better than an Eternal shame and condemnation.
God is ever listening and always faithful to pardon a sinner.
Do not allow what is perishable to destroy your chance of what is nonperishable.
Earth is perishable but Heaven is not.
Be wise godly not worldly.
