Appreciate The gift.

It can be ridiculous at times to classify children as gift.
I strongly believe Children are gift from God.
In every child there is a gift.
It takes the patience, observation and encouragement of their parent to develop the gift in them.
For a child to walk up the ladder of building their natural gift the parent or adult responsible for their care has to trust and believe in their inner ability.
Some children start showing their inner gift right from a tender age.
Some have interest in arts, design, writting, music, instruments playing,Talking, acting, running, swiming, teaching, football, dress making and so on.
Sometimes Parents find it disturbing because they think or have a better career in mind for the child(ren). Thus they try to speak the child(ren) off their chosen or desired gift.
Some parents care too much about their own wants and forget or ignore the child's feeling or want.Their is nothing bad in a parent wanting the best for their child but we have to always put the child's feeling into consideration and seek God to know His will in the life of the child.
Diverting your child's choice to your choice against God's will can be damaging to the Child's future.
To every individual on earth God has plan and purpose. He does not look at the family to make the plan. He does it uniquely so that all glory can be to Him only.
The Gift in a child is so broad even the parent can not see or know it all but God. Some gift are passed on from generation to generations. That is why a parent see a little bit of what they desire in their childhood days now manifesting in their children.
God has perfectly planned and formed each gift in a way that will interest the child to do His will.
Be wise to encourage your child to utilize their gifting godly. The enemy of every gift in each individual on earth is satan. As the Bible records it that the thief comes to still kill and destroys. The enemy of your child's gift comes to lure the child away from the ways and plan of God. That is when you start noticing some waywardness in the child if you are observant.
If you are the type that has brought your child up in the ways of the lord, and you notice that such child start losing interest in the things of the lord or you notice they will rather utilize their gift in a negative environment than the positive. You need to seek God. Parents lose the grip when they fail to see things from the child's perspective or God's way thus implementing laws and rules instead of embracing them whilst they fall on their kneel in their closet to seek God's face and let go to God.
The Gift in a child is like when you have a plant for example an orange plant. You water it regularly make sure it goes through the process of photosynthesis and has the space for the root to grow. If you wait patiently, trust in your hard work and commit it to the creator the fruit will start growing in different size and shapes that are beneficial. That is the way a child is. when a weed grow around your plant you cut it off and keep an eye on it so that it does not destroy the plant or affect its growth.
The weed in the child's life and gift are the unnecessary episodes of life that brings distraction, misleading and any negative impact. You do not sit with folded arms and expect things to work out neither would you cut the plant you have invested on off. You meet its need till its strong enough and you do not give up on it.
When your child start showing negative signs its advisable as parents to look for where the loop holes are and ensure you do your best in prayer and physically to get that child and the gift in them back in line with the Creator.
If you do not understand or know the gifting you cannot appreciate the gift(Child).
Observe your child, chase their dreams with them.
Believe in them.
Appreciate them.
Encourage them.
Pray with and for them.
Commit them to the Hands of God.
Allow God to use the gift in them...
