If you return to the Almighty [and submit and humble yourself before Him], you will be built up [and restored]; If you remove unrighteousness far from your tents, And place your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks [considering it of little value], And make the Almighty your gold And your precious silver, Then you will have delight in the Almighty, And you will lift up your face to God. You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, And you will pay your vows. You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways.

Elijah replied to the captain of fifty, “So if I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty [fighting men].” Then fire fell from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. So King Ahaziah again sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty [fighting men]. And he said to him, “Man of God, thus says the king, ‘Come down quickly.’ ” Elijah answered them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty [fighting men].” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.

Praise be to God almighty who has given us the opportunity to witness a new month also to come together for the first Bible study in the Month of March 2022. Lord we ask that you minister to us and take all the praise at the end in Jesus name amen.

The topic says *relationship births Authority*. There is a saying that you can't see the offspring of a king and not see the evidence of royalty on them.

We all know that relationship can be of different types or form, friendships, associates, partnership, marriage etc.

But one thing most relationships have in common is the access to uncommon things or opportunity for those in that relationship.

For example if you are a member of an organisation there will be perks that you will automatically enjoy due to your membership that anyone outside the organisation will not have access to. But due to your membership you have access.

In the Bible passages above starting from Job 22:23-28, here there is a description of someone who believes in God. The start of it says if you return to the Almighty in bracket someone who have submitted themself to Him(God). 

🔦God will build such person and restore them, but there is a condition if such a person removes unrighteousness far from their tent.

The word tent ⛺ brings the image of a house 🏠 or shelter. And if we think deeper spiritually to be specific the tent represents your body, that is your entire being. So if you remove unrighteousness from your being and place your gold in the dust.

Wao👌🏽 some of us might think why, gold here represents thing you idolize above God👀. Things you reverence above God, put them away🏃🏽‍♀️ consider them of less value then make God almighty your gold that is top of your most priority in life. Who and what you prioritize the most. When you do this, then you will have delight in the Almighty.

🧭When you let go of all these things that pose as condition to your relationship with God, you will  be happy and enjoy God more. 

The writer said then, you will pray to God and He will hear you, and you pay your vows and when you decree a thing it shall be established.

Basically after removing all barriers ⛰️🏔️🏕️from your path and relationship with God, that is when you can use the authority of God as a child of God.

This is when you can talk with boldness and say to mountains  🗻🗻 to be moved. This is when you can stand up and stand tall. This is when you enjoy divine peace in the middle of the storm why you have prioritize your relationship with God above anything.

Many of us might wonder 🧐is God not asking too much from me or of me? God will never ask us more than we have the capability or capacity to give or do.

🚦He knows us so well because He formed us in our mother's womb so what He is asking us for here is total obedience to Him in our doings and our faith in Him.

Looking at the next Bible passage, is the story of Elijah in 2 Kings 1:10-12, here there is a significant word used to describe Elijah and it's *Man of God*. He was not just ordinary person but one that worked with God. He obeyed God hence such description.

And as we read on we find out that when kings and officials came against him all he responded was *If I am a man* of God let fire 🔥 come down and with no hesitation fire came down and consumed this opposers.

🖋️Before Elijah got to this level, he had a relationship with God, that was why the authority was effective, it was instilled into him by God. 

He didn't see the opposition and cower in fear, instead he stood on the understanding of who he is and responded in a way that the opposers and their opposition was consumed by fire.

🪙My question is have I attained that level, have you attained that level?

🚂 Remember all these scenarios happened in the Old Testament. 

🚅Now think of the New testament where we now have the spirit of God, the Holy spirit dwelling in us.

🎁How do you make use of the relationship you have with the Holy spirit to birth authority.

🏺Do you doubt what He can do in and through you?

You will never see a true royal and second guess the authenticity of their royalty. A true soldier will not second guess their ability to defend provided that actively on duty and trained for such.

🪔So why do you second guess yourself as a believer?

⏳One is the fear of the unknown. Sometimes we wonder, what if that is not the spirit of God?

🔦Am I sure this things is the Holy spirit?

💡Who am I that the Holy spirit will use me?

The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

🚨If you are indeed His sheep, you will understand when He is talking to you and this boils down to relationship. Not only that you will not fear when He say do this because He is with you. Above all no one can snatch you away from Him. Hallelujah!

⚓🎠For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

You cannot develop the relationship that births the authority of God without knowing His word. 

And to demonstrate the authority you are practically holding God by His word. As seen in the verse above His word is powerful sharper than any two edged sword why because He is God.

The word of God in you is an authority that cannot be tampered with by any other authority provided you are sold out to it.

As you wonder why has your life stayed on same level do you want to try to recognise how the word of God works?

🔥What state are you in understanding the word of God.

🔥Because you can't use the authority if your relationship with Him is impaired.

Father thank you for sending the word to me at this time of my life

Lord forgive me where I have belittled your authority

Lord help me to build my relationship with you so I can function in the authority you have made available for me

I decree today all mountains in my path are removed

I decree every situation causing my heart to cry is consumed by the fire of God

I decree I will not misuse the authority that God gave to me in Jesus name

I cancel every delay that has made me less effective as a carrier of God's authority.

I decree my life is moving in the direction of divine authority in Jesus name amen
