Give yourself away.

Giving yourself away to God is something most people hold back.
You wonder, how can I give myself away to the one who already knows my strength and weakness.
What else do I need to give away?

If He knows all, He has all. What will I do to make a difference when He is all in all.

My life is filled with drama already, I have a lot to think about and I am too occupied to even spare my time. How can I give myself away to God?

Are you in between in making that decision? You know people who gave themselves to God and what they put up with. How the Lord sends  them to fulfill His purpose. How they spend and get spent for  God.
How they sound weird but still working well.
How they carry on about the vision God has given them.

How they live not just for this life but the life after death.
How they thirst for more of God.
How they are labelled to be 'too Holy'.

Ecclesiastes 9:10-11 AMP
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol (the place of the dead), where you are going. I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong, neither is bread to the wise nor riches to men of intelligence and understanding nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.

It's not their power alone that is making things work the way they are working but the power above all power that they yielded to it's authority. God is the owner of all, time, skills, strength and so on.

Psalm 33:18-19 AMP
Behold, the Lord's eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness, To deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.

The passage above let us understand that God keeps watch on those who fear Him. One thing is to fear God another thing is to obey Him. Some fear God but find it hard to obey Him inorder words they don't fear Him because you will obey every command of the one you fear.

Romans 9:16 AMP
So then [God's gift] is not a question of human will and human effort, but of God's mercy. [It depends not on one's own willingness nor on his strenuous exertion as in running a race, but on God's having mercy on him.]

To give yourself away to God I will say is a gift, it's something ordinary human power cannot just achieve in a second. It's a gradual thing that involves a first step of making yourself available for God and thirsting to know more about Him.

You can't give yourself away to God and compromise your faith.
You can't give yourself away to God and serve mammon.
You can't give yourself away to God and call this earth your Home.
Your insight for living is supernaturally designed by God.

So dear friend it's a new year, I know you have dreams , plans and so on but does it involve God? Remember man propose but God dispose. Try to give your totality to God don't hold back release all and He will make those hard journey easy because His grace will be sufficient for you and you will be able to do all things by His strength in you.
