Hello beautiful people of the Most High God. How are you doing? How’s life treating you? Glory be to God for all He continues to do in our lives.
Welcome to another episode of His Perspective. Today, I’ll be talking about Accusations, with a focus on wrong accusations.
For anyone joining for the first time, His Perspective is a segment where we talk about real-life experiences as believers. I share situations people can relate to and how I’ve been able to overcome, or how you can, when we choose to see things from Christ’s perspective.
Let’s pray: Lord, I ask that You take control of this discussion today. Speak through me and help us by Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Now, the story I want to share happened many years ago. Honestly, I had forgotten about it until recently when God brought it back to my remembrance. At the time, I worked in an organisation where you could volunteer for overtime whenever extra hours were available. If those hours happened to fall on a weekend, the pay rate was different. To be honest, I usually avoided weekend shifts since the workplace was quite far from where I lived.
But one particular week, a message was sent out to everyone saying there was an available shift. Whoever was interested was asked to send an email. I replied to the message, note that I used Reply All. Later, I was told the shift had already been taken, which was fine by me.
However, on the day of the shift, I got a call saying I hadn’t shown up. I was shocked and immediately said, “No, I wasn’t supposed to be there.” The next day at work, I followed up to understand what had gone wrong.
Guess what? A colleague who saw my “Reply All” had gone into the system and manually changed her name to mine on the rota. 😯 Imagine the heart of man! The Bible is right when it says the heart can be desperately wicked.
Thankfully, I stood my ground and insisted they investigate further, which cleared things up. But that wasn’t the last time I faced wrong accusations. Some of them really broke me, because I couldn’t understand why such things kept happening.
Matthew 27:11-12 KJV
[11] And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest. [12] And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

We can’t say we want to be like Jesus and then react to every little thing that comes our way. Yes, we are human—and as long as we’re in this body here on earth, our faith will constantly be tested. There will be trials, tribulations, and even situations where some may be martyred for their faith in Christ.
But here’s the key: when you look at your accusers through the lens of Christ, your response will be guided by Him.
Now, you might ask, “What if I actually did what they said?” Let’s take the story of the woman caught in adultery in John 8:4. Her guilt was undeniable, yet what happened? Jesus stood between her and her accusers, making it impossible for them to condemn her. In that moment, not only was the woman saved, but her accusers were silenced too.
As you read or listen today, maybe you’re facing wrong accusations, or maybe, on the other hand, you’ve wrongfully accused someone else. Either way, Jesus wants to step in. He wants you to see through His lens and reason from His perspective, because if we rely only on human reasoning, we can end up causing more harm than good.
May God help us all to handle life’s challenges through His wisdom, in Jesus’ name.
Until next time on His Perspective, always remember: Jesus loves you deeply, He loves you soooooooooo muchhhhhhhhhh ❤️.
