Prayer

Ancient of days I magnify your name and worship your majesty

King of kings thank you for this amazing new dawn and grace of life

Lord thank you for the forgiveness of sin and your blood shed for my salvation 

Lord thank you for victory you have given me against the plot of the wicked

Lord eternal expose as many who are plotting evil against my household and I, and terminate their evil plot

Lord shield my household and I from all evil accusers and accusations in Jesus name 

I decree my life and that of my family will not be taken by the workers of darkness in Jesus name 

I decree all evil gathering tampering with the promises of God over me, scatter in Jesus name 

Lord eliminate all unwanted circumstances making life unbearable for me and my household 

Lord build your wall of fire around me and my household make us impenetable for the workers of iniquity 

Lord wherever my name and that of my family is mentioned for evil, holy ghost fire answer them in Jesus name 

Lord advocate for me and my household in places we can or cannot speak for ourselves

Lessons from Daniel 11 to 12

Daniel 11

This chapter starts with the mention of the first year of Darius’s reign as king of Mede. God speaks to Daniel, revealing that there will be four kings, with the fourth being far richer and more powerful than the first three. This king will stir up conflict against the realm of Greece and will act according to his own will, but his kingdom will eventually be destroyed. Another king, the king of the South, will rise to power, and they will form an alliance by the end of the year. Despite various agreements and pacts, especially involving the king's daughter, these alliances will fail. In time, a powerful army will emerge, carrying captives to Egypt, with their gods in tow.

This vision from Daniel shows a chaotic and confusing series of events across different regions and kingdoms. Ultimately, it seems all these conflicts and efforts will lead to destruction and turmoil. The similarities with today’s world are striking, with rising taxes, nations allying to oppose each other, and power being seized under false pretenses. Wealth and money seem to dominate those in authority, with many taking advantage of their positions, exploiting others, and returning to their homelands with the spoils.

As verse 29 states, "at the appointed time it shall return but not as the former." By verse 32, it’s clear that only those who stand firm in God will do great exploits, while those who oppress others will fall. The fourth king, the one who will rise to power, will be destructive. He will rebel against God, promote strange gods, and divide the land for his own benefit. He will conquer nations, seizing strategic places, but his end will come, and no one will be able to help him.

I find this chapter very cryptic, requiring deep insight and the help of the Holy Spirit to truly understand. It speaks to both the present and the future. The events described can be seen in many things happening around the world today. The takeaway from this for me is the importance of revering God, especially when times are tough and the world seems full of chaos. Trusting in God and living for Him is vital. May we remain steadfast in Him, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Daniel 12

This chapter opens with the angel Michael, a prominent figure in the book of Daniel, standing up and delivering a message about a time of trouble that will surpass anything in history. During this time, people will be delivered—those whose names are written in the book of life. Those who have died will rise, some to eternal life and some to eternal damnation. I pray that my name is written in the book of life, and that I will not spend eternity in damnation, in Jesus’ mighty name. Daniel is told to seal the book until the time of the end, when knowledge will increase and people will be searching for answers.

We shouldn’t downplay the word of God. We live in the end times, and the increase in knowledge is happening at an alarming rate. However, as knowledge increases, so does the distance between people and the Almighty. Many are deceived into thinking that the world will continue to evolve without God, but that is a lie from the pits of hell.

Daniel says that after sealing the book, he saw two angels by the riverbank—one in white linen. Could this be the Son of God? The angel clothed in linen, standing on the waters, seems to represent Jesus. When asked how long it would be until the end of these wonders, Jesus raised His hands to heaven and swore by the eternal God that it would be for a time, times, and half a time. Once the power of God’s holy people has been scattered, these events will be finished. Daniel did not understand what he heard and asked, “What will the end of these things be?”

Daniel was told to go his way, for the book had been sealed. When the time comes, many will be purified, but the wicked will remain wicked, and none of the wicked will understand. The last verses are key:

"Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days." (Daniel 12:12-13)

These chapters speak of the end times, and it is clear we are living in them. It’s crucial to examine our lives and ensure we are living for Jesus and that our names are written in the book of life. Wickedness will increase, but those who are purified will be purified. It’s up to each of us to choose which side we are on.

Lessons from Psalms 108 - 110

Psalms 108

This Psalm was written by King David. Right from the start, David makes it clear that his heart is fixed on God. I find this a powerful statement because when your heart is focused on something or someone, it influences your emotions and, ultimately, how you live your life. He then goes on to say that early in the morning, he will rise and praise God, using instruments, showing deep reverence for God's nature, power, and presence. David also acknowledges God as the rightful owner of the tribes of Israel, the source of their strength. From this, I learn that when God owns you, He equips you with everything you need to live according to His purpose for you. The chapter ends with David calling out to God for help, acknowledging that the help of man is futile. I pray that we all recognize that God alone is our ever-present help and our strength, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalms 109

This Psalm is another prayer of David, where he pleads with God not to stay silent, for the wicked have risen against him. He speaks of how they repay his goodness with evil, even attacking him when he prays for them. He declares that he has given himself entirely to prayer. From this, I learn that prayer is crucial in every situation, not just when things are tough. It's important to always stay in communication with God, ensuring that He’s speaking to us and we are speaking to Him this is the essence of prayer. David asks God to fight for him, seeking God's vengeance on those who have wronged him, even down to their descendants. We know God is merciful and compassionate, but when His children call out to Him, He will fight on their behalf. I’ve learned here that we should be careful who we choose to fight, as we never know who their Father is. If God is their Father, He can fight for them without them even having to lift a finger. God can command anything, even the earth itself, to fight for His children when He deems it necessary. As David continues, he asks God for His protection, strength, mercy, and help, requesting God to replace his weaknesses with His strength. God is merciful—when all else fails, turn to Him with a prayer of mercy and watch how He comes through for you. The chapter concludes with the assurance that God will stand by the poor and save them from those who condemn their souls.

Psalms 110

This Psalm is another one of David’s, where he speaks of the Lord saying to his Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The first Lord here is God, and the second Lord refers to the Messiah, Jesus Christ. We find confirmation of this in Matthew 26:64, Acts 2:34, 1 Corinthians 15:25, Colossians 3:1, and Hebrews 12:2. For anyone who believes Jesus was only revealed in the New Testament, this Psalm clearly shows that Jesus existed before time. David, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, got a glimpse of the heavenly realities. The Bible is not just a collection of stories; it is the living Word of God, showing us that God is eternal, yesterday, today, and forever. He is God.

David goes on to praise the strength God will send, how people will willingly offer themselves to Him in the day of His power, how holiness will spring forth, and how God has made us priests forever in the order of Melchizedek. God, at our right hand, will crush kings in His anger, execute judgment over nations, and bring destruction to the wicked. I stand in awe of God. He is a consuming fire to those who oppose Him, yet He is a purifying fire to His chosen ones. It’s important not to fall under the wrath of God. The chapter ends triumphantly, showing that while the challenges we face may seem overwhelming, the outcome will be victorious when God is involved. I encourage you today to draw closer to God, walk with Jesus, live for Him, and prepare to spend eternity with Him.

Lesson from Joshua 1 to 2

Joshua 1

This chapter starts with the fact that Moses, Joshua's predecessor, had passed away. God then speaks to Joshua and appoints him as the new leader. We already know that Joshua had been prepared for this role before Moses' death—he had shown he was capable of stepping up. God reassures Joshua, reminding him that every place his feet touch has been given to him, just like He told Moses. To me, this is a reassurance that the same God who was with Moses—leading them out of Egypt—is still with them and will continue to lead through Joshua.

God also lays out the geographical boundaries of the land that’s been promised to them, and He tells Joshua to be strong and courageous. What I take from this is that before God places someone in a position of leadership, He prepares them. Joshua went through his own preparation process while serving under Moses. Also, when you reach a new level of leadership, it’s vital to have confidence and not give in to fear. If you’re not ready for the task, God won’t put you in that role. You might not look outwardly qualified, but God qualifies those He calls.

Verse 8 offers a key instruction about the book of the law, saying it should not depart from their mouths. There are a few parts to this. For something to not depart from your mouth, you need to understand it deeply, you need to be on it every day, and you need to speak it daily. The verse also says to meditate on it day and night, meaning you should constantly dwell in God’s instructions through His word. By doing this, the verse promises that you will have success and be prosperous. Some might argue that there are people who are successful without studying the Bible. That’s true, but there’s a difference between worldly success and godly success. A deeper evaluation shows that not all success brings fulfillment. But godly success leads to the fulfillment of purpose.

As a leader, Joshua had to lead by example. Without these instructions, his leadership could have faced a major setback. God encourages Joshua again to be strong and courageous.

God then reminds Joshua of the instructions He gave to Moses, including what should be done for each tribe, their wives, and their children. The chapter ends with the reminder to heed God’s word and commandments. Those who don’t will face consequences.

Joshua 2

This chapter begins with Joshua stepping into his leadership role by sending spies to check out Jericho. They followed the plan and ended up meeting Rahab, a woman working as a prostitute. It’s pretty amazing that Rahab’s career choice led to her salvation—God’s ways are definitely not the same as man’s ways. The only place where the spies could stay unnoticed was at Rahab’s house, since no one would think twice about them being there due to her profession.

Later, the city’s guards came looking for the spies, but Rahab lied, telling them that the spies had already left. I’m curious as to who tipped off the guards that the spies might be at Rahab’s place—did her neighbors report it, or did the guards just assume it based on her job? After misdirecting the guards, Rahab let the men go but told them that when they returned, they must save her and her family. It seems that Rahab didn’t just fall into her job by choice; she had a heart to protect her family from destruction. She knew how God had dealt with Israel’s enemies and didn’t want to become part of that destruction herself. She let them escape and made a pact with them—asking them to remember her when they came back to conquer Jericho. They agreed, giving her the instruction to tie a red rope in her window so they would know where to find her and her family.

The two men returned to Joshua and reported back on their successful mission. From this, I learned that when God sends someone on a mission, He goes ahead of them. He places people in strategic positions, just like Rahab was there for the spies. God can turn anyone’s life around, even those who society may have written off. Rahab’s story is a great example of this—she ended up being part of the lineage of Jesus Christ.

Lord eternal I bless your name and worship your majesty

Eternal rock of ages thank you for this amazing new dawn and grace of life

Lord thank you for the forgiveness of sin and your blood shed for my salvation 

Lord thank you for the dawning of a new month, thank you for counting me worthy

Lord thank you for your grace that is sufficient for me in all areas of life

Lord thank you for keeping me this far, for the divine open doors and all opportunities available for me

Lord thank you for your mercy that has prevailed over the judgement of sin

Abba thank you for your unfailingly love that surrounds my household and I

I decree this month new things will begin to happen to the glory of God because the Lord has gone ahead of me in Jesus name 

I decree the presence of God has terminated every unwanted situations now or in the future

I decree I will not derail from that path of righteousness in Jesus name 

I decree I will not be carried away by worldly enticement in Jesus name 

I decree over my health nothing will go wrong, all my organs work according to the plans of God

I decree this month whatever I lay my hands on prospers in Jesus name 

I decree the Lord has opened a door no man can shut and only the verdict of God will stand in my life

I decree over this nation, the mercy of God has prevailed in Jesus name 

I decree concerning the vessel used for this daily prayers all impacted by it and our household all will be well nothing missing and nothing broken in Jesus name

Thank you Abba father for answered prayers in Jesus name 

*Confess Daily: Sin shall not have dominion over me, I am operating in the power of the word of God. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus by faith as Jesus is so am I in this world. The Lord has gone ahead of me, He is on my right hand. The King of glory is alive in me, Jesus is completing what He started. My joy is overflowing, I have entered into my season of open doors. No more delay, no more discouragement, no failure, no sickness and no untimely death in Jesus name amen.*
