God's Remembrance

Title: God's Remembrance

Tet: Genesis 30-22-24 "And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach: And she called his name Joseph; and said, The Lord shall add to me another son."

When it's said that someone is remembered it means the person's awareness has been brought to light or a recollection of who the person is. From the Bible Text we are made to know that God remembered Rachel and Opened her womb after been barren Gen 29:31.

In Genesis 8: 1 God Remembered Noah and cause wind to blow the water /flood caused by the rain that fell for forty days and forty nights.

In 1 Samuel 1 :19 God remembered Hannah after years of barrenness and picking on by her rival wife.
Why does God leave one in a position before He remembers such;
This is a question that must have crossed our mind at some point and there is just one answer to that to glorify His holy name. Through glorifying His name the glory of the individual will manifest beyond their understanding. Also to test our faith and reliance on Him.

Can God Forget His creations?

Isaiah 49:14-16 "But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me." The Lord can never forget His creation, from the Bible reference it says that God has graven ME upon the palms of His hand.

Look at your palm, there are lines that was inscribed there before you were born and if you try comparing it with another person even your twin if you have one it's different this shows how unique you are as His creation.

Aside that for experiment sake, if you try rubbing off or peeling the inscription out it is not possible now imagine if you and I are just like that in the hands of God how then can He forget you it's impossible. Put your mind at rest God has not forgotten you.

So what is God's Remembrance? This is a type of remembrance by the supreme maker of all that outsource or outshines that of any creation. This type of remembrance is unquestionable and incomparable to that of man.

At times we might feel like God has not heard our prayer or probably we aren't praying enough but God's time is not and cannot be compared to the time of man.

There are times God is purposely quiet and it seems like one is just praying amiss or just wetting your bed with tears yet God can't or did not hear your cry, in the case of Rachel, God was very aware of her barrenness even when she was giving her maid to Jacob to bear child for him on her behalf God saw it all, even when she was holding Jacob to give her a child or she die, God knew it all but He works with a perfect time. Same thing in the case of Hannah, looking at the insult Hannah went through in the hands of Peninnah many would have quitted the marriage. In the situation of Noah, the flood had been there hundred and fifty days before it subsided. This must have been time of limited movement for Noah and his family including the animals especially the birds but when God remembered Noah it caused the liberty for  all human and the animals as well.

There are people in this life that your destiny and mine is tied to, there are places in life where our glory is meant to shine, there are opportunities locked up that's meant for you and I.

I decree in Jesus name that God will remember us today in Jesus name.

Another significant remembrance that we can relate with is in

Esther 6:1-3, 8-10 "On that night the king could not sleep, and he commanded to be brought the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on king Ahasuerus. And the king said, What honor and dignity has been bestowed upon Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him. Let the royal robes be brought which the king has worn, and the horse that the king rides upon, and the royal crown which is set upon his head: And let the robes and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that they may array the man with whom the king delights to honor, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor. Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the robes and the horse, as you have said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sits at the king's gate: let nothing fail of all that you have spoken."

When the Lord caused the book of remembrance to be opened concerning Mordecai, His position transformed and it positively affected the Jews, God has your best interest at heart and when He decides to move where you have been rejected He will make you ruler above those who rejected you. Where you have been hated and secretly plotted against, He will make your adversaries your decorators. It is quite good to pray that people remember you but it's more vital and blessed to pray for God's Remembrance because when it's God based He will cause your helpers to be sleepless and worried till they help you, He will cause wind to blow away the  storm, He will cause barrenness to be the thing of the past, He will make your rival to have no choice but to celebrate the finished work of God manifesting in and through you.

Let us Pray

Heavenly father I worship your majesty for who you are in my life, I thank you for the salvation of my soul accept all thanks in Jesus name

Lord almighty just as I am I have come to you have mercy on me and wash off my transgression with your blood forgive me of all my sins in Jesus name

Lord almighty forgive me in anyway I have so much depended on the help of man that I forgot that your help is much profitable in Jesus name

Oh God remember me even as this year is about to end cause my time of remembrance to come to pass before the end of the year according to your will in Jesus name

Father open the book of remembrance concerning me and my household even this last month of the year in Jesus name

Lord Jesus send wind from heaven to blow away all the flood in my life causing stagnation and darkness in my journey in Jesus name

Father where my adversaries have plotted evil for me raise standard against them and let me be victorious over them in Jesus name

Lord as You unseat Haman and replaced him with Mordecai unseat all powers, people or gathering against my destiny fulfillment in Jesus name

Thank you my father for remembering me glory honor and adoration be to your name in Jesus name
