Lord we worship you for another privilege to gather again and to wait on you in prayer and fasting. Lord we ask that it will not be in vain, we pray lord that we will see positive results and reports in Jesus name

Today I will be exhorting us on the Topic Authority. The word Authority means to have power, right to give orders, make decisions and enforce
obedience according to online dictionary.

From the scripture above our lord Jesus said *_all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me_*

This word is an assurance for all those who identify with Jesus. For those of us who call ourselves children of God.

We need to know that every other authority on earth, underneath the earth, in the air and wherever are subjected to the authority of the King of all kings.

The word all carries the weight that denotes that no authority is superior to the one of Jesus Christ.

At times we find ourselves being subjected to authorities in different capacities of life, sometimes it is for our own good at times it makes like very strenuous.

The Bible says in Proverbs 29:2 *_When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice, when the wicked rule the people groan._*

Whatever authority we are subjected to in life can either make us rejoice or groan. I decree henceforth that every authority or authorities that has been making you or any member of your household groan an end comes to them today in Jesus name.

I decree that God will change authorities for your sake and you will rejoice in Jesus name.

Having said that do you know you can decree the change of authority through your prayers. So instead of groaning and murmuring you can take the authority of this earth in prayer to the one who have power over all authorities and things change just like that.

Why are we discussing about authority? There are many times situations do not change because of the person or persons in authority. Imagine a Boss who is demanding sexual intercourse, bribe or any fraudulent means before a junior employee can have what belongs to them.

Imagine living in a place where the authority have constantly made the law unbearable for the people.

Imagine a teacher who use their authority to scare the life out of students thus breaking their self esteem yet expecting those student to pass the course. You know if the teacher has no great approach you can hate the subject and eventually not eager to know about it even if it's the simplest subject.

But people in this situations and many others with authorities that are abusive or manipulative will want a change.

To have a change in authority it is down to the desires of our hearts, it is down to the actions we take. You can take physical action if it's not backed spiritually it can be effortless. You can take spiritual action without a physical approach and still be effortless. However you can take spiritual actions that impacts on your physical action and boom! The change happens.

Today I don't know what authority is challenging you or your household, I don't know what authority is challenging your progress I decree a change now because you carry in you the authority above all authorities and that is Jesus Christ.

*Let us pray*

Say my father I release my life into your authority henceforth in Jesus name

Say Lord terminate all appointments of every evil authoritarian concerning my life and household in Jesus name

Say father concerning(mention) let every authority work in my favour in Jesus name

Say lord deliver me from all generational authorities and authoritarian that tarnish glory and truncates destinies in Jesus name

Pray in tongues if you are able if not pray in your understanding.
