[1] I trust in the Lord for protection. So why do you say to me, “Fly like a bird to the mountains for safety! [2] The wicked are stringing their bows and fitting their arrows on the bowstrings. They shoot from the shadows at those whose hearts are right. [3] The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do?” [4] But the Lord is in his holy Temple; the Lord still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth. [5] The Lord examines both the righteous and the wicked. He hates those who love violence. [6] He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds. [7] For the righteous Lord loves justice. The virtuous will see his face.

Psalms 11 is a concise but deeply rooted in the nature of who God is and how He operates. The beginning of the verse the Psalmist appeared as though he was conversing with someone and informing them that God is their protector. I know we live in a world that can be dangerous depending on where we reside. It's true that some part of the world are more secured and safe, compared to others but for the children of God wherever we find ourselves God is our protector.
So, just like the Psalmist even when the enemy shoots their arrows God will protect His own. Then the Psalmist asked a deep question in verse 3, "if the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do?" A destroyed foundation shouldn't stop the righteous from seeking their protector, He is the one who can rebuild a destroyed foundation and make it stand like nothing was ever destroyed in the first place but having said that, don't wait for your foundation to be destroyed and don't be downcasted if you find yourself in a destroyed foundation rebuild it. The foundation could represent anything in your life, but don't lose hope, rebuild it with the leading of God.
The Psalmist went ahead to talk about God's holy temple, how God will examine both the wicked and the righteous. How He will rain burning coals on the wicked and lovers of violence because the Lord loves justice and only the virtuous will see His face. We must examine ourselve to rule out any iota of wickedness so we don't fall under the statistics of those He will rain burning coal on. Because God detest violence, are you always interested in violence, always happy to see a united front scattering, are you a peace maker or trouble maker? This Psalms is admonishing us on how Gods judgement is on the wicked and His love is plentiful on the virtous. May we not fall under the wrath of God in Jesus name amen.
Psalms 12:1-8 NLT
[1] Help, O Lord, for the godly are fast disappearing! The faithful have vanished from the earth! [2] Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts. [3] May the Lord cut off their flattering lips and silence their boastful tongues. [4] They say, “We will lie to our hearts’ content. Our lips are our own—who can stop us?” [5] The Lord replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” [6] The Lord’s promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times over. [7] Therefore, Lord, we know you will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this lying generation, [8] even though the wicked strut about, and evil is praised throughout the land.

This chapter can be likened to a prayer for help not just for the time the Psalmist wrote it but for the current state of the world. The helpless are experiencing violence, neighbors hate each other, families are against each other, people are lover of themselves and flatter others with lying tongues. But we trust God to protect the oppressed and preserve them from lying tongues and the wicked one.
Reading this chapter just ignite prayers inside of me for the current state of the world. In as much as it's the end time, a lot of people are affected negatively, they are maltreated by those who are meant to lead them, children are facing situation too dearing for them, the disabled aren't getting help, the able bodies are struggling and we have some who use their power, the wealth and position to oppress. Lord we ask for your help for the world, we ask for mercy over all nations, we ask that you guide us in this journey, we ask that you deliver the oppressed from the oppressors, those that are mocked from the mockers and wipe all tears away in Jesus name amen.
