A word for you!

A word for you! 
Psalm 40:2 AMP
He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings.

Miry clay; many of us have been in situations in our life that can be likened to miry clay. Situation that we thought would swallow us up. Situations where we felt written off and forgotten.  Situations where families and friends couldn't even help, neglect, regret, pain, delusion was the order of the day. Alas! When we thought the end had come, out of no where God showed up to save us. He has no delight in us perishing. Your miry clay could have been caused by your deeds or even unknown but God didn't look at the source He saved you still. He didn't do that alone, He then set your feet on the ROCK (JESUS CHRIST). He brought steadiness to unsteadiness.  He stopped the reproach you felt was unstoppable.  He put an end to that pain and gave you a new life all together. He deserves all the thanks. Today I urge  you to glorify God for the things He has done in the past. Bless Him for how far He has brought and renewed you. Be thoughtful and give thanks because He is worthy.
Have a thanksgiving day.
